Only 50% of the Alzheimer's patients can get a diagnosis and from this 50% about 30% is misdiagnosed in developed countries. In not developed countries it isn't possible to take a PET scan or MRI scan or a lumbar punction...too expensive, not enough data, no monitoring, too invasive...
With digital biomarkers from a normal PC at the office of a GP ( POC) we can detect asymptomatic Alzheimer's disease. There are about 200-300 symptoms that we know and that we can detect with our eyes but there are a lot of symptoms that we can't detect with our eyes but that we can detect by digital biomarkers like computer vision. If we collect all these data and make it smarter we can see the first invisable signs of Alzheimer's disease.
When you have a PC and internet you can use this service. Till know it is only possible in hospitals. Also not developed countries can make a diagnosis at low costs and not invasive.
