Basic Information
Our tagline:
A women-focused platfom connecting expecting mothers and parents to maternity and childcare service providers via SMS, app and web portal.
Our pitch:
Babymigo is a platform that helps mothers ask, chat and connect with vetted, certified experts (lactation consultants, sleep therapists, paediatricians, childhood development e.t.c ) for 1:1 sessions that take place in their homes or virtually. Our goal is to provide comprehensive support for mothers from pregnancy through baby's first year and parents feel supported and cared for at vulnerable times
A lot of couples (average of 20) are becoming parents in nuclear family without hyperlocal support systems and nothing has prepared them for the new experience
Across Africa, Over a million babies are estimated to die in the first 4 weeks of life but most die due to preventable causes.Thousands of mothers also lose their lives due to complications arising from childbirth. A Global report estimates that over two-thirds of newborns & mothers could be saved through access to health, support programmes and medical personnel.
Today over 400million African mothers presently have little or no access to informed decisions during & After pregnancy.

About Your Solution
What makes our solution innovative:
Over 400 million African mothers presently have little or no access to informed decisions during & After pregnancy. Since most other platforms were built before the emergence of social networks, it is almost impossible to make real-life connections or finding or booking hyperlocal services is totally broken on available online platforms due to their old styled approach.
Other emerging competitors are fragmented Facebook groups & Whatsapp groups which are unregulated and trust isn't guaranteed.
We are different because we provide hyperlocal services with reviews from local mothers. We also allow mothers to access our platform via SMS
