70-80% of Latin America and Asia lack basic financial and business management knowledge, 2 billion people in the world do not have access to the financial system, and in Latin America, less than 16% has access to formal borrowing. This numbers influence the productivity, quality of life and economic growth of the mentioned regions. Existing channels limit informal entrepreneurs‚ access to financial services and business networks because they are not inclusive, they miss information, and they involve high costs and risks. These compounding factors restrict the opportunity for people in the informal sector access to training, financing and markets, the basis for their productive development.
The courses 'Start your own Business', 'SME Manager' and 'Access to Credit' and the advice offered by GNE, adapt to the lifestyle of the emerging sector, providing this sector with knowledge to improve their economic productivity and living conditions. The platform 'Red Nueva Empresa' allows to create networks and to promote productive profiles. The application 'App-Credit' facilitates access to credit through the creation of an own credit profile that is exposed to different financial entities.

What makes our solution innovative:
Training, financing and markets are the basis for an economic integration. Grupo Nueva Economia integrates the three lines (training, financing or market) allowing the users to access to several benefits in a single space. Our competitors are Linkedin, Altitud, Connectamericas, Kubo and Blizuu. Each focuses on a specific focus area while GNE integrates all. GNE includes both a professional and informal network, establishes a credit profile marketplace, a market of productive profiles, and builds credit profiles through courses and advisory services.
How technology is integral to our solution:
GNE focuses on solutions that facilitate productive processes for informal. Through courses that adapt to the informal entrepreneurs‚ lifestyle, GNE manages to attract the informal entrepreneur to a digital economy which links people in the informal sector to formal opportunities. Nondigital existing channels limit informal entrepreneurs‚ access to networks and financial services. Online platforms for business and financing make it simpler for new businesses to grow, removing barriers to access wider audiences and reducing transaction costs. By using technology GNE can surpass geographical barriers and reach the enormous audience that encloses the informal sector in Latam and India.

Grupo Nueva Economia empowers the emerging sector of the economy to engage in the digital economy. Scarce economic resources of the informal sector limit the purchase of computers or smartphones that would allow them to enter the digital economy, excluding the informal sector. GNE contributes to greater inclusion of the informal sector in the digital economy by offering financial education through costumized advisory and blended courses adapted to the lifestyle of the informal entrepreneurs that not only end up with a sufficiency Diploma of Financial Education, but also with credit profiles that provide better chances at accessing credit.
