Covid-19 has brought many industries to a crossroads on the path to digital transformation.
Global trade has been made possible through trade shows, and the current cancellations and postponements could cripple businesses that rely on them for generating leads and closing deals. As a result of the catastrophic halt to trade shows and other business conferences, airlines, hotels, restaurants, and service providers that rely on their attendance will also pay the price. Ultimately, the post-pandemic environment is only beginning to reveal itself and businesses are being compelled to choose between traditional operations with manual workers or implement the new solutions driven by Industry 4.0 technology.
Industry Insights Webinars equip businesses with knowledge and tools to overcome the challenges of 2020 that have left many feeling powerless and bring connected solutions to the forefront of the conversation.
With shrinking budgets for marketing and R&D, how can businesses better understand that collecting data can alleviate their pain points?
As industries adjust to a growing number of Covid-19 related obstacles that could hinder production, disrupt operations, and pose risks to worker safety, businesses need to prepare for everything and anything. Connected solutions are feasible means to mitigate risk, but there is a lack of education for the end users who need advice from trusted sources now more than ever before, especially when considering the trade show void.
The long-term effects of the virus are already noticeable when analyzing the GDP, unemployment rates, and population patterns. It is equally important to note that supply chain bottlenecks are only going to increase as buying patterns continue to shift.
We are also bringing to light the deep-rooted challenges facing each industry with a panel of experts to assist in guiding them through the do’s and don’ts of IoT.
And more importantly, our world is in a delicate and fragile state that needs the nurture and oversight that connected solutions can provide.
Industry Insights Webinars are intended to educate those in need of connected solutions and align them with relevant information and suggestions from IoT and technology ecosystem partners.
Our panel-style discussions evolve around new and existing industry challenges, while highlighting currently available marketplace solutions aimed at solving industry-specific challenges.
Each month our webinar series focuses on a different industry while maintaining our underlying message for using technology to foster operational efficiency and data-driven decision making.
We invite thought leaders, experts and business executives to share their honest experiences, industry expertise, and provide strategies for staying flexible and adaptable.
The world is adjusting to a time of extraordinary uncertainty, and businesses must face these challenging times with agility and resilience.
Our upcoming webinars focus on manufacturing, telecom, energy, healthcare, and smart cities.
Supply chains are reaching peak volatility, and manufacturers are taking steps towards diversifying their supply chains to different geographical areas for materials and services should one of their principal suppliers fail to deliver. Industry Insights Webinars gives tips for securing alternative sustainable sourcing in preparing for unexpected challenges, such as disruptions from suppliers, spikes of illness, climate change, and natural disasters.
Looking at the big picture, the greatest balancing act for businesses is aligning supply with consumer demand. The virus and it’s ripple effect along with the recent wide-spread protests/riots have altered consumer-behavior. The amount of goods purchased due to the pandemic on the consumer level is causing bottlenecks in supply chains and a nightmare for manufacturers.
Energy demand is decreasing as businesses struggle to maintain operations and unemployment numbers continue to increase. As energy consumption patterns continue to fluctuate, connected solutions are needed now more than ever before in these industries and many more.
- Elevating issues and their projects by building awareness and driving action to solve the most difficult problems of our world
We share the same vision for our interconnected world and I would love to have the support of your team help to take our webinar series to the next level.
While working for my previous employer, I noticed certification for our Mobile IoT module was taking an extremely long time and began researching to see what was happening in China that could be affecting this delay. I saw a news story reporting about the outbreak in Wuhan and my concerns began to intensify. This delay caused development to come to a screeching halt.
I immediately reached out to Cynthia Baker and Johannes Beekman, the Founders of IoT Marketing, who I had connected with at many trade-shows and explained to them that a fellow coworker and I had time available to assist them in their marketing projects and began working the next week.
As we began planning out the proposals I became hesitant of committing to attend these events due to Covid-19. I continued to research the outbreak in Wuhan and find out how China was working towards rectifying the situation. I mentioned we needed to pivot immediately from trade-shows as the focal point of our offering to webinars. Webinars are an efficient means for raising awareness and getting heard in an era when trade shows have gone dark.
In these challenging times, IoT Marketing is providing a virtual space to promote thought leadership, guidance, and a sense of community.
As CEO’s for large companies continue to step down, further shrugging the atlas, I feel we need to step up and do what we can, while we can, if we want to have a sustainable future.
Our team has deep industry knowledge in IoT and technology, as well as long-lasting relationships that span many industries and verticals.
When looking at the world’s challenges, I find myself searching for ways to use technology for good on a global scale and felt the Elevate Prize is part of my mission on earth. I feel my background in IoT, communications, and broadcasting gives me the experience needed to lead the conversation and ask the right questions during our Industry Insights Webinars.
I am a published author and released Your Effective Vision Board Guide, as a tool to help others find their passions and manifest the future they truly desire. I hosted one of my vision board guide workshops during a Tween & Teen fashion week event for low self esteem youth. Each of the youth present reacted differently to my approach to the workshop; however I was informed after the event my message saved one of the attendees who had planned to take their own life.
While working as Entertainment and Marketing Director for the Bar of Modern Art (BoMA), a 26,000 sq. ft. church in downtown Columbus, OH, which was remodeled into 4 nightclubs, an event center, 5 star restaurant, and art gallery. There I gained experience booking hundreds of the top performing artists, djs and celebrities, as well as developing and overseeing hundreds of fashion, hair and art shows, as well as corporate events, benefits, weddings, charity and government functions. I effectively led and managed large teams, and in some cases I was responsible for more than four events in a single day which required timeliness and leadership.

1 Year: Establish Industry Insights Webinars as a trusted source for gaining information about industry-specific challenges and match them with suggestions for connected solutions. By the end of the year, we hope to expand the size of our audience and the number of available outlets for distributing our original content.
Each webinar in our Industry Insights Series is supported with a matrix of infographics, blogs, articles, and videos that we would like to share with more trade magazines, associations, and online publications.
5 Year: We would like to transition our virtual panel-style discussions to a live event as restrictions and health risks are reduced. We would like to expand our monthly series to a virtual or live summit. We would also consider partnering with someone who is looking to join forces to create a conference or summit geared to highlight industry challenges and offer potential solutions.
1 Year: We will continue to grow our audience and do not see barriers preventing this; however, budget restrictions could limit our scalability.
5 Year: The barriers we see for reaching our 5 year goals are budget availability and the uncertainties of the global health crisis that could impose restrictions on our live panel discussion.
Our team has established relationships that can be leveraged to grow our audience and increase our distribution. I do not see any reason why we can not overcome these barriers and grow our community exponentially. Where there is a will, there is a way.
Business-to-Business (B2B)
We would like to continue to offer attendance for our webinar series available free of charge; however, we would like to increase the number of paying sponsors and those in need of our end-to-end marketing services. We plan to continue to diversify our sponsorship and product offerings.
IoT Marketing LLC has funded our Industry Insights Webinars initiative; however, we are seeking businesses to sponsor our webinar series, preferably with IoT and technology products or services associated with the webinar topic.
I see the Elevate Prize as our opportunity to enhance the quality of our discussions by getting the attention of panelists with large followings and grow the number of attendees to get our messages heard by those in need of our guidance.
