Social Dinapp
Biologist with a social vocation, therapist with a scientific vocation. Defender of science at the service of conduct. Graduated in CC. Biological (Univ. Alcalá de Henares), Expert in Systemic Family Therapy (FEATF). and in Systems Dynamics, specialization in Social Systems (Unesco Chair in Sustainability - UPC). Graduated from John Hopkins University in "Systems thinking in Public Heald". As a Social Educator and Coach, he has been doing Social Intervention work for more than 30 years. In his work as a researcher, he is the author of "Systems Dynamics applied to the family - a new horizon for Social Intervention and Research" Publication in The Dynamic Systems Magazine: http://dinamica-de-sistemas.co... Founder of SOCIAL DINAPP, which uses Predictive Technologies and I.A. for the prevention of social conflict. In 2018 he received the European Commission "Startup Europe Awards" social category - Madrid, in recognition of his innovation and social impact.
The crisis caused by the pandemic is having serious effects on families and specially on the most vulnerable ones.
In this context, SOCIAL DINAPP has developed a prototype of a Social Simulation application that, during the confinement situation has been offered free of charge to families in difficulties. In all of them, the alternative of an online service, based on technology that allows them to predict conflicts, anticipate the most reliable solutions, previously tested in the simulator and manage difficulties in real time, has made the difference between achieving adaptation capabilities and failure social. We want use Dynamic Simlulation to predict and prevent social and relational deterioration in the same way that the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change or epidemiologists use it to predict and prevent an environmental emergency or anticipate a sanitary collapse. Carry out pilot projects in real scenarios to transform Communities into inclusive human Ecosystems.
The COVID19 pandemic has tested the human ecosystem on Earth. Social protection systems retain a structure designed for past industrial societies and must adapt to a new scenario. Sustainability is weakened by lack of efficiency in detecting threats, initial states of conflict or discomfort, so the system cannot prevent or protect itself and a Social Consciousness Induced by stories created for public consumption prevails, with a high presence of noise emotional and informative toxicity in the absence of scientific contrast: we obtain a society that before the arrival of the virus already harbored within it an Internal Pandemic, a pathological deficit of systemic empathy, an desensitization to the drama of child poverty, the homeless, gender violence, abandonment, unwanted loneliness, addictions and other symptoms of social deterioration, produced by inequality, violence and exclusion. This internal trauma is exacerbated by the impact of each threat, fragments the system of social interaction, and interferes with cooperation, care, and the ability to function as productive members of the clan. Inequality is to the social emergency, what pollution is to the climate emergency. Code Prevent places the center of interest on people and their relationships, transforming their complexity into useful solutions.
Code Prevent is a platform of Social Dinapp for the prevention of inequality and its symptoms in the form of serious relational, family or social conflicts. The platform allows universal access to families who, in situations of crisis or social risk, can conduct early consultations, be helped in real time and can take advantage of online or those solutions available in their nearby territory, in person. In this way, wards, communities, cities or nations could establish social, family and relational health services of universal access with preventive vocation and social transformation to a SMARTSOCIETY model. How do we do that? with tools capable of detecting conflicts at an early stage, anticipating their evolution to pathological states and investigating stable and safe patterns of change, since they are previously tested in the virtual conflict generated in social simulation laboratories. Social simulators are built with the "Vensim" system modeling software and hosted on the "forio-epicenter" user interface platform. All this on a platform with simulation applications. We've developed a plan that includes resources in IBM, Watson Cloud applications. and also A.I. for the escalation of the project.
We are developing prevention and care projects for vulnerable groups in Chile and Colombia. We conducted a pilot in Bullying prevention with Institutes in Madrid and we have presented a collaboration project with various European countries, in ERASMUS + We hope to have the opportunity to carry out projects in Europe and especially to be able to develop the Technological Institute of Social Prevention with the partnership of IBM and ICA2 in addition to other institutions. With this perspective, we consider that conducting pilots in different social areas are important to help an estimated minimum number of 3,000 families or individual users to face and prevent the social consequences of the pandemic.
Our Social Simulators together with the Watson apps. and the I.A. from IBM provide: Early detection: It favors the early demand for help and the remote perception of risk situations in early stages. Social anticipation. Scientifically predicts risk and predicts the evolution of conflicts. Virtual Social Health Laboratory: Connects each social conflict with stable, safe and efficient patterns of change in real time. Context. Customize prevention projects according to the specific characteristics of the neighborhoods, districts, families and the target citizens.
- Elevating issues and their projects by building awareness and driving action to solve the most difficult problems of our world
Gallup's reports on social health and personal well-being indicate that human dissatisfaction, stress and suffering are on an upward curve worldwide. Social protection subsystems retain a structure designed for the industrial societies of past centuries, not adapted to transnational movements and technological society, where the butterfly effect is more frequent with the exponential spread of global risks. There is a deficit of social empathy. We live with the dramas of child poverty, the homeless, gender violence and other symptoms of our internal pandemic: inequality. We propose prediction of social risk and new models of human development.
In 1986 I graduated in Biological Sciences, I left the laboratory because it was a cold place for me and I started working in Reform Centers for juvenile delinquents, then in Child Protection Centers and later with "families in crisis". I was trained as a systemic family therapist and visiting families in their homes, I thought I was entering the best possible laboratory: the one in which one works "in vivo" with highly evolved living beings, in their own living environment.
I noticed that the biggest problem was the difficulty of
work preventively.
I trained as an expert in Systems Dynamics at the UNESCO Chair in Sustainable Development and began to apply this discipline and simulation tools in my interventions. In this way I found a digital social laboratory and was able to investigate the enormous relational complexity in each family, anticipating social risks.
The paths that I have traveled since then, the results and the recognition achieved, helped me develop new methods and tools to gain greater awareness and control over violence, exclusion and social inequality. The technological revolution that we are experiencing has been the necessary complement to consolidate the project.
I always liked science. As a child I played with toy microscopes and curiosity led me to explore all the relational aspects. More than people, animals or things, I was attracted to the way everything is connected. My outgoing and friendly character made my friends trust me to tell me about their problems. I studied biology for the fascination of knowing the secrets of life, its appearance and permanence on our planet, but I was happy in my relationship with other people. I never believed that Sciences and Humanities were separate disciplines and in some way I have always sought to help people with the contest of Science and its methods of knowledge. I have been working for more than 30 years in social protection for people in difficulty, families and vulnerable groups, always trying to contribute new ideas and scientific models in the way of solving social difficulties and human suffering. I know of no better way to do this than to think of social systems as living systems. Systems Dynamics allows the scientific method to be used and new social health paradigms to be developed.
There are not many Social Services professionals with scientific training and I do not know any biologist in this profession. This condition allows me to have a very special vision of social conflicts and the experience of more than 30 years helping people in difficulties or at risk of exclusion, allows me to deeply understand public social protection systems, their strengths and weaknesses. During all those years I researched and was able to create Social Simulators that are the key to transforming an area of human action traditionally contrary to the incorporation of technology. Since the creation of the startup "Social Dinapp" I have received the European Commission Prize "Startup Europe Awards 2018" Social category. IBM recognized the impact of the proposal and supports us with its startup program, offering its resources in Cloud, A.I., Watson applications. and many others of world class. IE Public TechLab has included us in the list of the TOP 100 Startups that face government challenges in an innovative way. With universities and knowledge management centers, we have designed a Technological Institute "SMARTSOCIETY" for Prevention and Social Transformation that will help policy makers, researchers and society in general to produce necessary changes.
During the 7 years that I was working as a family educator, helping families with children in crisis and social risks, I used methodological thinking tools and methodologies applied to family relationships. Social workers were not familiar with these models. For a long time I was a victim of mobbing in my workplace, for this reason and for being a biologist. My status as a family therapist or social educator did not matter. I denounced the situation and the justice sentenced in my favor, after recording audio and video of my harassers in the workplace. I continued to carry out my work and my investigations until I suffered depression and anxiety due to the isolation and job discrimination to which I was subjected. When I recovered I went back to work and finished my research.
None of this stopped me and, with the professional experience I accumulated, I wrote the essay: "The dynamics of the system applied to the family", which was the seed of current social simulators and the startup "Social Dinapp". This experience increased my interest in helping others victims thanks to the knowledge of the internal processes that accompany the victim of abuse.
After working for two years with juvenile offenders, I was very clear that I wanted to prevent social exclusion and prevent the deterioration that led to these young people committing serious crimes, compromising their personal development at such early ages. I gathered several social educators to develop host home-building projects for children and young people at serious social risk. For 10 years I led a team of 15 educators at two Child Reception Centres. It was hard work, as a social educator in the Adolescent Reception Center, and as Director of the professional teams of this Center and also of the Children's Reception Center in the municipality of Getafe (Madrid). As president of the company I also made the economic and strategic management of the implementation of new models of child support, with innovative educational projects. The strategy of creating inclusive communities, allowed to develop projects in other populations of Madrid, helping to prevent serious conflicts between immigrant populations and native populations and carrying out inclusive educational projects in schools where children of 17 different nationalities studied.

In a world that experiences a clear phase change driven by the technological revolution, it is urgent to establish mechanisms for the protection, prevention and control of social deterioration.
We believe there is a key concept for focusing a theory of social change globally.
Inequality produce deterioration and social emergency in the same way what pollution and overexploitation produce environmental deterioration and climate emergency.
To produce sensitive changes and avoid the painful symptoms of this internal pandemic, we propose:
Use instruments of measurement and precise determination of social risk in social ecosystems at all levels, from the individual to international society.
Establish Desired States in human communities. Achieving a common awareness in international for a and by rulers seems like a necessary path.
Calculate the difference between the social realities we want to change and the desired goals. In this way we can clearly define the necessary efforts.
Anticipate risk states with decision making, planning, and coding purposes into useful information.
Coordinate the implementation of adjustment measures, in collaborative actions, forming cohesive systems involving public, private actors and the public itself.
To achieve chaining all these steps we have designed a Technological Institute of Prevention and Social Transformation that puts at the center of their interest people and their relationships y provides short- and long-term results, with sustainable human development goals. Its key elements are:
SOCIAL SIMULATION LABORATORY: applies in the social sphere, which works to understand, explain and predict the consequences of environmental or health catastrophes such as the current pandemic: Dynamic Modeling of Complex Systems.
RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT: establishes a flow of improvement and evolution of prevention and social care processes.
DEPARTMENT OF TRAINING AND DISCLOSURE: internal trainers and external entities that train professionals in the social field in the Institute's own disciplines. Design of awareness-raising and community action campaigns.
AREA OF MANAGEMENT OF ALERTS AND CRISIS: one of the lessons that the COVID 19 crisis leaves us is that a cohesion of all protection systems (health, education, emergencies, third sector and civil society) around potential risks with an early prognosis, offer Sustainable and resilient social behavior.

The business model is B2B for use by The Public Sector. Govtech solution, innovative coping with government challenges in preventing social exclusion and protecting vulnerable groups. Also for use by Entities, foundations, NGOs and Third Sector associations, which could customize their social prevention plans. In addition, a modality, B2C of use by citizens in the management and prevention of their social or family relations and problems, as has already been tested in the context of the present pandemic, is possible.
The objective is that products intended for individuals have a mode of access with free applications and premium services at a cost depending on the Intervention and Support services that are needed and can be contracted with the private customer. Products offered through public or private companies will include the sale and rights to use simulators and applications, in addition to the complementary services of intervention and research teams, in packages, subject to global contracts that distinguish prices based on the number of users and execution times of specific care and social intervention projects.
It will work with an online distribution model of the products produced and with the provision of professionalservices. The opening of branches or franchises shall be considered according to the existence of a portfolio of customers and agreements with companies or public entities that contract services to be provided in other localities cities or countries.
On the other hand we need public or private investment, financing that allows us to face the scaling phase with the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence to our predictive models with Social Simulators, so that the capacity of attention to citizens increases significantly and achieve universal access of citizens to social prevention services of Social Dinapp.
