One idea is to create an ArtArt CV - to develop a national online platform for exclusive, exclusive and creative products.
In an increasingly automated world, our mission is to connect as people in e-commerce and international sales. HomeArt CV will be a house of creativity, projecting our Cape Verdean producers to a level of: Product disclosure, National sales and international markets, search for raw materials and tools / work tools; besides the possibility of interaction with other cultures. With HomeArt's CV, he wants to connect millions of people in search of something extraordinary, made in Cape Verde, and thus generate income and concrete products for national arts, especially as the most disadvantaged…. In addition to supporting formalization and social security. HomeArt CV - a culture in a home.Cape Verde, a country that depends on tourism, remittances from immigrants and foreign aid, the impact of the pandemic is devastating in this isolated country, with few resources in GDP.
According to the authorities, an unemployment rate may exceed 20% in the coming years and is already causing pain. The objective of the project is to develop a virtual platform that meets the need to expand the businesses associated with the artisanal world, since sales are more in the local market, where this platform will expand to the global market and, consequently, will bring more economic profitability. products. Expand the sector and its sales viability, in a medium that offers greater exposure of its products and a wide market that could not be reached without the help of this HomeArt CV tool, in addition to reducing operating costs. The choice to develop an e-commerce tool is justified by directly connecting buyers and sellers, eliminating time and location limits (anywhere). After observing the current marketing tools, there was a need to create a project that achieves the goal of artisans, transmitting to the consumer a product quality and giving relevance to the details that differentiate it.The online platform (market) offers tools for the creation of all stages of purchase and sale for its users. The most advantageous ones in product marketing, the expansion to global forums, the dissemination of our culture and the creation of applications for producers that use only the local market are insignificant.
It will work as follows, the artisans responsible for making their products available and available within the platform. Since then, they have started to publicize their images, from a marketing perspective to customers. Just as we will have a team of technicians from the area to support, taking into account that artisans are people with difficulties in terms of ICT, we have the idea of socializing with the artist communities. Another issue is trying to partner with city officials to support them in enrollments and short training courses.Because I had a good experience of working with promoters of micro and small companies, especially those on the island of Santo Antão, found throughout my technical assistance actions, it is necessary to open horizons and channels for disseminating the pieces of our artisans, locally depends on tourism totally blocked due to the closing of borders, phase a covid-19.
The moment when tourism is zero, which implies sales also in that perfection. Cape Verdean craftsman, almost young and vulnerable men and women heads of household, who depend heavily on these small business niches. The tourist no longer comes to visit us, but we will find them wherever they are in these technologies, something little explored in Cape Verde.- Elevating opportunities for all people, especially those who are traditionally left behind
The solution is aligned with good jobs and tourism, as we live in difficult times in the country and in the republic, banned by the islands, or that create economic barriers and population flow.
At the moment, some islands are quarantined in the pandemic phase, many of them unemployed in a non-industrialized country. I think that making land, from the resources we have, earns our bread and trying to make it independent from countries is smart for the future, which is uncertain. The pandemic challenge is global and we have this internal solution. As I worked as a technician for the Raízes project, my main task was to provide services to small entrepreneurs, mainly art professionals and artisans on the island of Santo Antão. After two years and with such inexperience, I felt that these professionals lacked many channels of dissemination, for sale and also the dissemination of their services to more distant markets. In this perspective, I started working on this idea of creating a platform that would take them across borders, knowing that a major obstacle would be financing to leverage the project, so I started participating in competitions for local ideas and at a global level. It is a group of professionals with scarcity and very low educational level,
It is a group of professionals with scarcity and low level of education, hence the little knowledge of the channels and the possibilities of engaging in technologies that can expand them in the market. It has a high degree of importance, in addition to being a platform that will bring income, it will also be a way to help the most vulnerable in terms of employability. As already mentioned, I have inexperience as a technician who worked directly with these professionals and motivates me when I see so many pieces produced without a market, that is, without a well-defined line of product flow. But with this platform that will work as a sales and promotion store for the artisan artist, to other islands and also to European markets and beyond. I am passionate about this project, my commitment to my island, my country, with development and in this possibility to give my contribution to the most needy. This also takes into account the unemployment situation that we face, and the possibility of encouraging other young women.
I have many skills, not only at the academic level, I am a professional manager, certified in organization and management of companies, I have worked in several entities, such as chamber of commerce, city council of my municipality, participation in various workshops, seminars, which gives a critical view of the island and the country. We face difficult times and will depend on the foreign market, that is, we do not produce enough in our country for our livelihood. We have to work towards becoming a more independent people, with a stronger GDP, nothing more than providing and encouraging our artisans to produce and sell on a large scale. Our Cape Verdean community in the Diaspora is large, which makes it possible to have a very high consumer market with products from your homeland.
The most difficult situation related to my project is in the implementation at the financial level, the credit lines that exist in the country and the incentives are not favorable to projects of the Marketplace type, I think that because I am something new in Cavo verde, we have to make sure that our people, artisan population in particular, believe that it is possible to live off art and sell to the world outside Cape Verde. Information and communication technology has come to revolutionize the world. who is not connected to the technological world loses, and we want to follow the current challenges. Many activities related to the dissemination of the products of this segmentation, example of craft fairs, but it is not enough to take art beyond borders. Through a platform and with a click we can trigger a sale that changes the life of a family, which creates income for the artist. I am not a craftsman, but as a referee I have extensive experience in this area giving technical assistance for this segmentation.
Inexperience I have as technical assistant for these professionals, in opiate them with specific training, creation of labels and quality seal, registration of the business. It highlights the experience of being one of the technicians in creating the quality seal of products on the island of Santo Antão, at the time I was supported by the Raízes project (ADPM project in Mértola Portugal, funded by the EU and the Camões institute). We worked with the ministries and entities in the certification area where we were able to add value to the products on the island of Santo Antão, it was a huge experience. I have already led other projects of community interventions, partner and founding of development associations, (case of AUMA, association friends united a helping hand), association Fiorentina that deals with social and sports causes, even we have a small school of amateur football. I am currently a representative of the youth employment program on the island of Santo Antão, and the focal point of IEFP (institute of employment and professional training on the island of Santo Antão).

HomeArt CV - A national online platform for Cape Verde's exclusive, unique and creative products. A house of creativity, from Cape Verde.
A pioneer in Cape Verde, we are a country linked to the information network, but these platforms are still barriers, in view of suspicion due to the lack of knowledge of the context of the technological world.
Addressing the Cape Verdean and international public, we are going to the foreign market, taking images and art from the German borders.

The artisans now have a great challenge to face, to overcome this crisis with a lot of creativity and to prepare for after Covid-19, according to trend studies and to remain in an extended period. Create an alternative for generating extra income Reducing the unemployment rate and making a teaching vehicle capable of promoting Cape Verde's economic growth Better leakage and consequently dissemination of the product in the national and international market, Create networks of contacts across borders, customers and partners; Meet or as many registrars as possible have an online vendor; Encourage the expansion of the craft sector through online sales tools, Attract the target audience to the website. Build customer trust and loyalty. Meet expectations in terms of delivery time, price and quality of the product and services. Coordinate partner network - leverage business and collaborate in the customer relationship network. Flexible, robust and planned infrastructure - to increase growth rates and, at the same time, resist the period of confidence building. To achieve the projected data, a team will be created to work with peacemakers and socialize, such as local communities and statistics, disseminated social networks, television radios, links, partnership agreement with the Ministry of Culture and Creative Industry, public health centers. art and design from cape verde, city halls, cape verde post office, employment centers, national companies, banks. As the barriers are vast, starting with the Internet, which is still very expensive in the country, more digital markets are missing in rural areas, the same in terms of computer equipment (PC, tablet, cell phone), they are imported and high prices.
The very conversation about digital culture in the arts community and the target population in general, distrust of digital platforms in the field of payments;
The low level of education and, consequently, as difficulties or restrictions on access to the platform, barriers in terms of transport, to complete, due to the situation of the pandemic of covid-19.
Partner to obtain special prices for communication with the country's communication operators; we have a digital square, mainly in urban areas, where it facilitates some work; socialization meetings, promotional videos, blogs, that is, an aggressive advertising strategy (created in terms of increased income and a solution to solve unemployment); Free access to the platform, special contract or partnership with the post office and bank, essential for sending and transferring money. Undoubtedly, digital payment is the best way and to identify partners for the service, we already have some services in this area in the country.

The partnership will be with local council entities, local organizations and associations, ministry of culture, craft center
The model is based on the Marketplace (virtual store with this, small companies / artisans, who hardly enter the market, gain visibility and manage to expand their lives through the image and the mass of visitors and segment the market). The population served in this case, the promoters of pieces (artisans), will have a space with all the conditions to sell their products and expand a clientele. HomeART CV's Marketplece platform simply earns a sales commission. The service provided is a part of the artisans, but it also provides services in terms of painting and other areas for fins. Register all artisans interested in the platform, make available a disclosure, a sale of the pieces and the service, thus reducing the interest of the client, services as an intermediary for connection between arts and the client. Payments are made online and include, depending on the type of conditions, the distance to facilitate payment.
After the implementation of the project, sustainability will depend on revenues, that is, sales commissions for each work of art. For a virtual store, as long as it is not on the internet, I will not have great costs, so I opted for the virtual platform, something little explored yet in my country and in the island of Santo Antão in particular. Fixed costs are linked to communication, in this case, to the Internet, telephone, but this is something I can handle with my phone or tablet at home. The contract with a collaborator in different parts of the country to represent and work on the platform will also have a special contract that will depend on your skills, the proactiveness of obtaining customers and making sales, that is, everyone will help everyone, each with their own part to everyone's good. Therefore, the bet on disclosure.
I project the search for funding for the beginning. At the moment when everything is being supported by my costs and personal effort, I am working in a multimedia room in the youth center.
For this project, I have a projected value of around $ 97289930.00 as an initial fund. To cover recent expenses, from payment, or contract to create a platform, surveys of interested producers and artisans, to initial marketing and dissemination, communication. Since you do not have a company and can never offer a guarantee at the bank, it is difficult to obtain this amount by credit and therefore an initiative to send this type of payment to try to initiate the initial investment. In terms of computer equipment, it is also an immediate necessity, considering that the work was carried out in youth centers, with the need to work 24 hours a day and everywhere.
Specifically, the type of initial financing, in the search for a donation, is an activity that presents risks, something is still socialized in the country Cv, therefore, the risk is the risk for this type of investment.
Another need is registration or business for whom it is an activity that also contributes to the payment of taxes and legally, that does not respect the fulfillment of the employees' obligations in terms of fees and social security.
For this project, I have a projected value of around $ 97289930.00 as an initial fund. To cover the initial expenses, from the payment, the contract to create the platform, surveys of interested producers and artisans, to the initial marketing and dissemination, communication. Since you do not have a company and I cannot even offer a guarantee to the bank, it is difficult to obtain this amount by credit and, therefore, the initiative to send proposals of this type to try the initial financing.
One of the reasons for signing up for Elevate is to try to finance the project first hand, otherwise it is difficult. The desire to implement the idea is overwhelming, but a barrier is the initial funding. Banking, as mentioned earlier, is an alternative, but for issues that surpass me, considering that I am not a company, many barriers at the bureaucratic level that I cannot overcome. The solution, in addition to supporting the search for funders, I can receive accompaniments of beneficial guidelines for the implementation of the idea.
