Online Market Place ensuring e-traceability in agriculture and aquaculture of Bangladesh.

The shrimp market in Bangladesh is the third largest export and provides an income to 1 million farmers who earn less than $2 per day.  The lack of traceability and quality assurance is denying access to markets that would pay a premium. Farmermarket.asia is a product of Digital Express, which is a sister concern of Unifox Digital Media, the first Google business partner in Bangladesh. A team of 12 innovative minded people are working to create and end-to-end digital solution to connect all actors in the value chain and increase incomes for farmers in the process. 

Social Causes: 

• Agriculture : Farmers are now given RFID cards with QR Codes which they are using as crypto currency while purchasing post larvae, feed and other farm management logistics.  
• Financial services: Crop insurance is relatively new in Bangladesh and SEA region. We are offering crop insurance with micro finance for the small farmers to avoid the dependency on the middle man. 
• Health : We have inbuilt heal app that helps the farmers / user of the application to get/ book appointment with urban doctors. 24/7 tele medicine support with registered nurses. Emergency ambulance support using GPS. Lastly, the app provides voice (IVR) messages on women health tips.
