Campaign against drugs and violence

Am khadijat oritoke Ibrahim a co founder of Norma foundation which is a voluntary organization where we enlighten youth about drugs and violence campaign against it.

Have also volunteer in an health4allintiative organization where i enlighten the youth on ways to overcome challenges expecially woman.

We are trying to eradicate this hard drugs and violence in youth buh we can't really eradicate it so we want to enlighten them so that they will leave it willing.

The foundation project is to help the addicts, orientates out youths nation wide about what violence and Hard drugs can cause to them. 

We intend to achieve this by physical and media campaign. Visiting schools , radio and tv programs to campaign against drugs and violence.

The foundation is providing solution to the problem of drugs and violence. Helping the addicts to fight addiction and also creating society free from drugs addicts and violents

Several youths were affected
The factors contributing to the problem is lack of orientation and education on the effect of using hard drugs and engaging in violence.

The foundation project is to help the addicts, orientates out youths nation wide about what violence and Hard drugs can cause to them. We intend to achieve this by physical and media campaign. Visiting schools , radio and tv programs to campaign against drugs and violence.

The project serve the youths especially the addicts.

 
The project impact their life by educating them on the effect of hard drugs and the possible harvoc violence can cause to them. When thry know this, it will change them positively and also check them out of violence.

How I come up with the project

I  and the founder started with  CADv campaign against drugs and violence. Latter I thought of incorporating the idea of changing the world positively into a foundation.

It started in early late 2019 in a festival celebrated in my community. The youths actually forgot who they are, they smoked, caused  violence that even led to serious accident in the community. 

Most of these people are young vibrant and future promising youths but they all perish in the hand of the demon (drug and violence) 

Several years ago in my community, we had some group of youths that causes panic to the whole town. Many lives were lost, many properties were damage. The economic of the town went back ward. They did  all these under the influence of drugs.
Today, those that engaged in such act are no where to be found. Many died, many can't place things right again.

These are what motivated the establishment of the foundation

The main objective of the foundation is to create environment free of drugs addicts and also have a society free of violence. Peaceful and happy nation.

The project can be well delivered by me because I see the need to save this people from the demon among human race. Many are not concerned with the way things are going wrong with the youths. 

Also I am a person that stand against these acts (drugs and violence) I believe I am in the best position to save the people.

I intend to do this through campaigns, music, drama and ebooks to give the best educative information alongside with the founder of the foundation

The youths dance to the tune Drugs and violence play for them it will not be easy to convince them from what they are into. The set back will be opportunity to open another means to help them out of the situation without letting their response to stop the campaign.

What ever the response will get from the youths will lead is through the way we can toll to fight and win over Drugs and Violence.

The youths are gifted but they were perish in day to day activities. We tend to build and change the society and the nation. Addiction and violence should be what we fight against not what we embrace.

What make the project innovative is the face that it will bring about changing the society and also build the nation integrity worldwide.

This includes carrying out research, getting fact on what causes the use of drugs and why youths engage in violence.

Also to help the addicts with a workable solution and Planing a workable solution to help them prevent or fight the demon (drugs)

Goals within the next years is to create environment free of drugs addicts and free from violent.

To achieve the above mentioned goals is by raising an awareness and banner to enlighten them moreover. Most expecially campaign within the society and which will be released into the internet for people to see and to change people who are involved.

The major aet back Is financial support to carry out those project. The get this across to the fellow youths we need to be financial support. To campaign on street, social media and media.

The barrier also is lack of good governance. Law need to barn those selling this drugs to the youths and also the government need to set aside a law to act on those who engage youths in violence

Why I applied for the elevate prizes

To help over the challenge of money. Financing the project requires money and we are not yet financially buoyant. If am able to win I Know it will really push the foundation in helping a lot of people in the community.
