Tripti Shingal Somani is the CEO-KGS Advisors, Founder –Womennovator, Member, and Governing Council - NIESBUD – MSDE, Chairman-Women Entrepreneurship Committee-PHD Chamber of Commerce, Co-Chairman- Start up Committee - PHD Chamber of Commerce. While Tripti is a Chartered Accountant by education, a CEO & serial Entrepreneur by profession, she is a Success Coach by Passion!
Tripti has been a significant contributor as the Chairwoman-PHDCCI- Women Entrepreneurship Committee, Member, NIESBUD- Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneur, Chairperson, NOS committee – Entrepreneurship and Co-Chairperson-Start-up Committee, ASSOCHAM, with the purpose to leverage the tools & templates, knowledge, learning programs for SMEs/MSMEs to gear up for exciting entrepreneurial journeys and have supported 100+ SMEs/MSMEs in a short span of time.
After having had a flourishing and a successful corporate career with organizations such as PwC, Grant Thornton and World Bank for more than a decade, Tripti wanted to make an impact where it truly matters.
Women make up only 3.7 per cent of the total Managing Directors and CEO’s in India. Women have unequal opportunities; they have talent but often lack a platform or a support.
Womennovator is the first virtual incubator that aims to create and sustain a propitious environment for the development of women entrepreneurs, leaders, community leaders & organisations working towards the goal with assistance through advisory and consultative processes to support them.
The new Eco-system of providing equitable platform and the idea to achieve your dreams in an ever-challenging environment with courage, commitment, patience & tenacity shall surely lead to exploring new avenues which the society needs. The final objective of giving back to humanity especially with the empathy for the weaker section of the society shall provide sustainable business models. All this is producing more female achievers in all aspects of human endeavor not ever seen or assumed before.
Women entrepreneurs often face various challenges from inadequate funding to lack of favorable working environment to unleash their true potential. Female-oriented businesses due multiple social and personal constraints results in either struggling to maintain their position in the market or they eventually lose the opportunities and growth they deserve.
We at Womennovator believe in creating a secure and trusted platform for our members to showcase their capabilities and to reach a bigger audience.

With the help of our various initiative and programs we educate, inspire, and connect 800,000 women in 100 cities, 100 Sectors in around 30 countries, with a social outreach of 10000+.
A Management Planner based on the success stories of all the 103 women faces and 20 Influencers selected and was shared with the Government organizations, Non-Government organization and multiple Embassies to support and encourage them.
Womennovator – First Virtual Incubator for Women was started in the year of 2014 with the motive in mind to make a virtual incubator for women entrepreneurs or women who do have exceptional ideas and want to get a platform to grow. This campaign has communicated excellent work done by women around the world. It is an initiative with the goal of helping women entrepreneurs to grow local economies by providing business education, training, mentoring and networking. Gaining new revenue contract through interaction with Industry leaders; provide media reach (digital and print) through their story on exclusive YouTube Channel. Also provides access to capital and Government Support schemes across the country.
Womennovator is determined to support the cause of women empowerment and has endorsed the women empowerment principle of UN Global Compact – SDG 5 and has been constantly been supported by UN Women and various countries.

One area for more contributions from women is definitely entrepreneurship. When a woman becomes an Entrepreneur her entire family becomes one. Our multi-dimensional initiatives like we-club, we-talk, we-pitch, we-fund, womenmark, etc. focuses on providing a platform to all the women entrepreneurs to overcome the business challenges.
Twelve entrepreneurs out of 100 Women Faces have received the Crowd funding for their business. One out of 100 Women Faces was selected for sponsored trip to Australia under Virangana Project and South Asia Connect program and Success story of twenty women out of 100 Women Faces was published by media.
The 3 % mandatory procurement policy for Micro and Small and Medium Enterprises owned by women was proposed by Tripti Somani this year. This has opened tremendous gateways for women-owned businesses to work as Vendors with every Central Ministry /Department / Public sector undertakings and Government offices.

A mission of “not growing alone but make every part of society grow and glow with them.” A thought initiated by a young lady of Delhi who not only inspires but tales, executes the success story of her gender mates. Tripti Shinghal Somani- Founder of Womennovator, professionally a CA, who conceptualizes this thought in 2013 and never looked back.
After having had a flourishing and a successful corporate career, she realized the difficulty in breaking the glass ceiling and wanted to make a platform that can support and encourage other women to do the same.
With the support of Mr. Anil Khaitan (Chairman, Womennovator) and Mr. H.P Kumar (Chairman of executive committee, Womennovator), she successfully launched and created a powerful ecosystem connecting various women entrepreneurs, leaders, professionals and social activists.
The Caravan continued, now have connected more than thousands of ladies across the nation with the support of the Government of India and have already made those ladies a self-empowered one by making them starting their own start-ups.
As person she believes "Two things: Be a Lady - don’t let yourself overcome by emotions and Be Independent - you may be a queen of a family but be able to defend for yourself"
Born and raised in a middle-class family of Bareilly, it was a difficult journey. Since, all social groups are not created equal, the issues and struggles of women from small cities are harder. They have the talent and the aspiration but need some support than that.
To address this problem the WE- Pitch To Fund program was designed to give pitching opportunity in 100+ India's cities & 90+ sectors majorly in Tier 2 & 3 cities across India, and presenting semi-finalists from each city at a Final Pitch Event to a panel of international/national investors, press, corporate executives, angel investors, and other successful founders. It aims to help female-oriented businesses to reach a larger audience by helping them with proper business training, financial support and to grow from a variety of experiences.
We aim to bring more and more women from all work of life to create small business and grow them in a collaborative atmosphere supported also by Men.
Chartered Accountant and Post Graduate in law, is the founder of KGS Advisors. She has been mentoring and advising entrepreneurs—comprising hand-holding and laying procedures for SMEs, due diligence reviews, forensic audits, statutory and internal audits, and other business advisory services—across sectors and business stages to help them build successful exponential-growth businesses. She is also the founder of Gvriksh (a go green initiative), which works extensively on tree plantation, recycling and up cycling of waste; the curator of Incupedia, StemEdkids (innovative learning), and BEconomy (a go cash free initiative). Ms. Somani is the Founding President (Delhi) and part of the national managing committee of COWE INDIA, which creates a one-stop solution for women in business. After having had a flourishing and a successful corporate career with organizations such as PwC, Grant Thornton (GT) and World Bank for more than a decade, Tripti wanted to make an impact where it truly matters. Tripti contributes regularly to industry events & discussions on content, policy, social media, and government support system for Entrepreneurship. She has significantly influenced and contributed towards bringing a change in the government policies and schemes to support the young Entrepreneurs and Women Entrepreneurs.
People know her as an extremely passionate, warm, resourceful and a self-less Networker and she wants to see each Woman Entrepreneur feeling empowered, sitting on the decision making table, owning businesses and building a meaningful entrepreneurial career.
Womennovator when founded in 2014, started with an endeavor to communicate and promote the excellent work done by women entrepreneurs. This initiative extended an opportunity for women to showcase their innovative ideas in front of an audience of investors and potential clients.
Recognizing the limitations of these one-day physical events, founder Tripti realized that these events were not enough to provide emotional and mental support that these budding women entrepreneurs needed.
In 2018, She created the first virtual incubator for women and launched '100 women faces' in 26 cities.
This was further supported by Womenmark which is
a global online marketplace where women come together to make, sell, buy and
collect unique items.
This program not only gave awards and recognition to these 'women faces' but also provided them with media coverage, crowd funding for their businesses and connected them to Invest India.
Also being a virtual incubator, the project faced another challenge due to poor digital literacy standards among women and the gender digital divide.This was handled by conducting various programs, such as WE-Talks, WE- Vendor Meet, WE- Embassy meet, WE- Cell, WE- Pitch to fund, WE- Global Tour.

Ensuring Women owned Electric Vehicles Battery Charging Stations Considering the gradual shift from fossil energy-based transport systems to electricity driven transport systems, there is an urgent need for providing battery charging stations alongside the roads network and women, mostly rural can be associated with managing these stations, as well as making a livelihood out of it.
