In western Sudan the number of people without access to clean water reaches 88%.
Water wells provide a reliable and ample supply of water for home uses, irrigation, and industries. Where surface water is scarce, such as in deserts and where the land is arid people couldn't survive and thrive without groundwater, and people use wells to get at underground water.
In western Sudan the number of people without access to clean water reaches 88%. the lack of access to clean and safe water making them exposed to diseases leading to death of hundreds of people from diarrhea alone each year specially children who are the most vulnerable to cholera and diarrheal illness and unsafe water compromises their immune systems as well making it difficult for them to fight any illness.

In many areas in western Sudan where there is a lack of water resources resulting in a thousands of hundreds of people suffer from lack of access to clean and safe water making them exposed to diseases such as cholera, typhoid fever, hepatitis and other water borne illnesses leading to death of hundreds of people from diarrhea alone each year specially children who are the most vulnerable to cholera and diarrheal illness and unsafe water compromises their immune systems as well making it difficult for them to fight any illness accordingly we came up with the idea of providing safe driniking water to save thier lives, we only can achieve this by the support and donations from our community and people around us.
it gives me power to see dozens of young adults go volunteer in our social volunteering events. Seeing relationships, friendships and working relations be created between people who met through our organization, seeing people become community leaders, people that are now better connected to their community, people discovering their leadership abilities - it's fantastic.
i have started a movement that combines socializing and volunteering for the purpose of building community. i have a lot to be proud of: a degree from a prestigious university, a past career as a business developer and marketing specialist, a comfy job in past years in KSA But perhaps my greatest accomplishment is that i have managed to merge social activities with volunteering opportunities i always find the time to contribute to my community in such a significant way while it’s not easy.
as khawater is currently running with almost no budget. But, to me, the sleepless nights, long hours, and financial strain are all worth it.
since we can help providing safe drinking water as well saves lives
