Development of morocco students

My name is Mouaad ait si M’barek, After obtaining a degree in physics electronics, I joined the Zaazaa Association for Social Business and culture in 2018 as a teacher, educational instructor, psychological supporter and motivator. During these two years, my colleague Ali El Myly  and I  helped more than sixty students in developing their academic level, in addition to providing them with several skills in various fields such as the theater Science, mathematics, technology and art through a range of activities and workshops.

The idea of this project is reflected in developing the students' educational level, guiding and teaching them a set of skills, such as critical thinking, for example, through a set of activities.

The problem or problems that we sought for two years to solve lies in the poor educational level of students because of their lack of awareness of the importance of study in most regions .when you ask someone why they study often they answer because others study what leads to negligence in the study and drop out of it and can clean that the curriculum in Morocco does not It provides the appropriate conditions for a good achievement. For two years, we have contributed to changing the lives of more than sixty students and we are seeking to increase this number by opening new centers.

The start of the year 2018 began to frame school support classes for more than 30 students at the Asssociation  Zaazaa for social business center in the Drarga  region of Agadir, Morocco, where I was studying primary and secondary school students in all subjects. My colleague Ali joined me and we started framing new activities that would contribute to the development of students, such as seminars, training sessions and academic competitions. From the bulk of the 60 students ’motivation, we purchased motivational prizes for students from the symbolic amounts they contribute to us, and we organized a party at the end of the year to crown their efforts exerted during this period.

As a summary of our project, it can help students develop their academic levels and personalities and make studying an enjoyable trip, making them love their studies.

In the area where the majority of students live, they need school support and psychological support. During these two years, I hosted a group of students who suffer from problems with their parents. What is affected in their studies. We communicate with them individually and try to solve some of their problems. In our work there are no barriers between us and Students are building bridges of trust so that we can identify their problems and solve them, and thus brilliance and excellence.

All students have skills that cannot be underestimated, but that giant must be awakened within them.

My course was not the same as I wanted one day, although I am an excellent scholar, because of a variety of reasons I lost several years of study, the most prominent of which was lack of awareness of the importance of study and lack of good guidance. After I got the license at the age of 27 years, I had to enroll in an association in our neighborhood and try to help the students in order not to live the same experience that I experienced. For changing this reality, I called the president of this association and suggested that I do classes for school support before. I started receiving students from the primary and secondary levels, I was studying them all, they were close to the two, I joined a help frame, but unfortunately they only mattered money, so I quickly left. At the beginning of the year 2019, my colleague in the project Ali El-Myly joined me. At the end of the first session, the students got good points, and I knew then that I was on the right track…

When I was young I could not describe my joy when others help me, I always loved the good for people and love to help them. The world of children is a very beautiful world that cannot be resisted because there is what we call innocence.

I suffered a set of problems during my academic career, I do not want any of the students to suffer from it. This makes me wake up every morning and work hard for two years without charge. For me, the students are a treasure that cannot be neglected. They never let you down. I am happy when I see them develop and fulfill their dreams. This feeling cannot be described ...

Through the passage of two years since I started this project, I discovered that I was on the right track, and that I contributed to a positive change in a group of students that made them academic excellence and contributed to the development of their personalities. Thanks to my mastery of a set of study subjects, in addition to my fun personality. I also received three baccalaureate degrees.

As far as the practical side is concerned, I am a person who does not work in all circumstances. He is committed to my work and I bear responsibility. I work hard, I worked for two years without compensation and I can work more because I consider my work a responsibility that must be borne against all circumstances. My work is a trust that must be communicated to its people ... What Gandhi said: Be that change that you want to be in this world

During my experience in this center, not all things were fine, as I had several problems including:

The lack of water in the center, but used the help of some neighbors who loan to some bottles of water in exchange for teaching their children.

The lack of adequate financial resources,  I and my colleague  was not the financial resources for us because our work is voluntary, but we saved in the symbolic amounts provided by the students.

We suffered from some of the harassment of the neighbors, especially the night, but we interfered with diplomacy, which prevented us from entering into conflicts with the opposing parties in the roundabout.

Parents did not contribute to the activities that we organized, but some benefactors took refuge.

My father and mother were not convinced of this work, but I convinced them of the importance of volunteering work.

The work program is crowded to provide good education for students, but I convinced them of the benefits they will get in the end.

In a conversation with my co-worker, I told him that we will contribute to changing the status of this vertigo and we will return to voluntary work its usual value because the majority of the local population considers the collective work a project of humiliation.

I also told him that we will change the thinking of several students, but he did not accept all of this talk, but with the passage of days, things become clear and the results appear and our results were clearly evident. My goal has achieved these results. Anything you can reach in this world but don't care about the words of others.

A non-profit organization that helps residents of the region in several fields: social affairs - study - art – culture…

In comparison to the projects of the teaching centers in Morocco, our project is the most impact on students, as we change the academic level of the student to the best, as we integrate various activities that develop critical thinking among students, in addition to that we teach them technology, such as programming and simulation programs. Excellence. During these two years, we were challenged a lot with them, making them think more. We communicate a lot with students and educate them on self-reliance, and this is not what most schools and centers in Morocco do.

The number of students who managed to excel thanks to our programs cannot be denied, as our teaching method is unique in a short time. The student feels a smallpox change in his life. Our project can change the educational reality in Morocco in the coming years because I am committed to the success of students and make them offer something to this community. In addition to that I am determined Students should be taught artificial intelligence technology that will add a lot and speed up the pace.

It is noticed that our project developed a group of students and contributed to changing their lives and gave them a moral boost that enables them to excel in their academic course. It can double its influence in the coming days if the necessary support is provided.

Over the past two years, our project has benefited 120 people

Next year, the number will reach 200

In the next five years, we aspire to reach 100,000 subscribers

Regarding the target group, they are primary and secondary school students

In the next five years, I seek to generalize this model in Morocco and reach millions of students For the advancement of education in Morocco. And that is by establishing these centers in the most important cities And the use of skilled frameworks already formed by us, as this large number of centers will contribute to changing the history of education in the country, which will contribute to the prosperity of humanity.

During the past two years, we suffered from some financial problems, as my colleague and I worked for free during two years due to the weakness of financial resources. There is also an obstacle to the lack of availability at the work center, because during this period we only sought the headquarters of the association. Then we need financial support to build a headquarters for us to develop the idea.

We will increase the price of access to our center a little 

Because we have gained credibility in our region

We will open a new center in a neighboring area by renting a house.We will work on the media side to promote our idea.What we want from the Elevate Prize program is to financially support us to build our center or visit MIT headquarters in America and grant us a certificate of recognition in the field of education Because this testimony would increase our credibility to continue this work.We accept any support from your program.

We worked at the headquarters of the Zaazaa Association for social works during these two years and helped us in the workplace and the media through its Facebook page. But we are currently in a transitional phase because next season we will be independent of this association

Target group: Primary and secondary school students

The service provided: Developing academic and personal skills using various educational and teaching aids.

Why society needs it: Moroccan students suffer from a problem with good coping with studies and poor academic level.

The only permissible humiliation in this context is the monthly duty of students, which ranges between $ 5 and $ 30 per person
