Sub-Saharan Africa which is the home to 13% of the world’s working age population exhibits a high-skilled employment share of just 6%, a contrast to the global average of 24%. There is also a mismatch between the number of educated young people seeking jobs and availability of the formal high-quality jobs,plus the added constraint of young people being inadequately prepared to such roles. However, there is a fairly large STEM and ICT pool.
Encouraging critical thinking, creativity and emotional intelligence as well as accelerating acquisition of digital and STEM skills will help match the way the people will work and collaborate in the fourth industrial Revolution. (world economic forum 2017)
Solely relying on education curriculum to acquire these skills can be time consuming and demanding. Many schools still don't provide much information about the STEM fields and follow the general curriculum, taking away the advantage of an early start. As for college students, chances for internships and professional training are very limited. This lack of career guidance and information result in under-prepared work force with little confidence.
Our solution is a web based platform that assists and encourages professional exchange of on demand skills between different communities, ages and backgrounds. It started as an idea for accelerating language learning process through guided language exchange methods that strengths commitment, interaction and output from both parties. From experiences, challenges, and endeavors, the need for a platform where people can acquire skills, commit, connect, exchange, enjoy, mentor and achieve much more... surfaced; and skillex2 was born.

be Grouped based on the skills they want to learn and work on big projects guided by another experienced user.
Be matched based on skills they want to exchange, and guided through it efficiently.
Get to know all what they need about a field, major or a career path and get ahead start and guidance along the way.
Help each other by teaching what they are good at to those who need it.

Teaching, mentoring, learning from the experienced, enrolling in team projects, and early exposure to career guidance; the smart matching, grouping and continuous learning suggestions will take all the participants to the next level, through " tunnels" and "bridges" each provides a well-tailored experience.
Upon joining the platform, based on different criteria each user will be given a certain amount of points. These are the points they will use for different services. After each service users must give from these points a certain amount that lies in a specific range. These will be used as an evaluation of the overall experience. They earn points from each other based on their commitment, feedback, level of skill they acquired... etc.
Top users will be chosen periodically, and can gain money or other services in exchange of their points.
Our solution will give people the push they need to adapt. We want to encourage people to always seek self improvement on their own and from each other.

In its first phases we expect skillex2 to serve hundreds of university students, employees and young adults across the region. They will amplify their existing skills, learn new ones, and gain communication skills. They will also raise their confidence in their skills and knowledge, gain work related experience,and get a head start. They will gain the skills they need to be qualified.

due to the various challenges they face in their regions. In its next phases we

Electrical engineering majors, passionate about improving learning processes and opportunities. open to the world cultures and diversity and possessing good communication skills. Currently aiming to recruit more skillful diverse members from other regions in Africa.
Users will be charged with registration fee. They will receive a certain amount of points based on their selected category. These points will be exchanged between the users and circulating the website. This will help in monitoring users activities and the quality of services they are receiving from each other.
we are considering the development of a suitable payment methods for users in different regions due to their different circumstances.
