THE GREAT GENERATION

My name is David Edward Olakunle, 28 years of age. 

i'm a creative, transformational and innovative leader and founder of Great Generation. I created Great Generation Organisation with the purpose enhance the young generation to be the great generation. Great Generation is a innovative group of motivational and inspirational potential youths, with the aim of creating solution to the world challenges. We create a networking community and economy ecosystem with technological advanced to create financial freedom.

1.    We are committed to elevate humanity and inspire others to act as machinery for the social good. Impacting knowledge  and educate the youths on the 21st century skills which is referred to content knowledge, literacy's and proficiency that prepare individuals to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s world. 

2.   I'm proposing for a mega information Technology (IT)  training centre, that can take up to 1000 systems capacity.

3.   To develop creative Art work and promote talents, empowering small and Medium Enterprises. This will reduce the number of unemployment in the society. this will also help to reduce the level of terrorism, because will discovered that most of people disturbing the peace of the nation and the world entirely are not well educated people and unemployment people.

Technology: Great Generation is a premiere organization in the concept of using modern technological advances to improve human resources, elevate and inspire others to act as machinery for the social good of the community and the world entirely.

The scale of the problem: In this present generation; technology has taken over almost every human activities, include jobs. Almost 87% of people in our community are computer illiterate. This has affected the level of their productivity, limit their skill's in global market. The computer literates uses the knowledge of modern technological advancement to extract knowledge from the internet, they market their products and services online. Technology has a greater impact in humans live, individual's needs the basic knowledge of modern technology to develop their skill's.

Lack of human financial resources, and inability of the government's ministry of information technology to setup ICT projects, are the factors contributing to the low level of computer literate in the community. By empowering people and introducing technology advancement to business and ministries is the potential key factor's that can boost out economy rapidly. 

I'm using the concept of modern technological advances to solve and improve human resources.

Our Project: Great Generation is a premier innovative organization, the first of its kind,  a group of motivational and inspirational potential youths, with the aim of creating solution to the community and the critical world challenges. We create a networking community and economy ecosystem, for financial freedom. Setup purposely to enhance the young generation to be the great generation, and give best standard and quality life the world needs. To work as a team and support individuals potential to actualize our dreams.

What we does: Human capacity development,  is that of maximizing people's skill's and potential to contribute positively to the growth of our community and the world. below is how we do it:

•  We do skill's acquisition training for people to help develop their potentials.
• We train people to develop their Small and Medium Enterprises and how to overcome business obstacles.
• We train general computer knowledge,  Networking,  CCTV camera installation (closed circuit television) and other related information technology services. To build a creative generation and develop human capacity for the good of the community and the world entirely.

Our project serve humanity: Impacting knowledge  and educating the youths on the 21st century skills which is referred to content knowledge, literacy's and proficiency that prepare individuals to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.

our project serve humanity, We serve the community in ilorin Kwara State, Nigeria and other neighboring communities. The community are local and lower class people in terms of financial capacity and technology advancement. We elevate and inspire the people to also act as a machinery for the social good of the community and the entire world. 

We understand their needs through our team members whose closely associates with the community.

The problem, project, and community, are well-aligned I choose the challenge that I always solve in my day to day activities for people in the community, I related it to the project I selected from the elevate prize. 

Through our Human capacity development programme to people in the community, we impacted potential skills to elevate and inspire people to act as machinery for the social good of the community and the world entirely.

The concept of using modern technological advances to impact potential skills to elevate humanity, inspiring people to solve some of the critical problems in the community.

I developed this project because i am not comfortable with the economy situations of our country Nigeria. The government has not been manage our resources properly, and there is no future plan for the future generations. The community, the youths depend on the government to do provide them jobs, they believed that white collar job (government appointment) they can't earn a living. The government ministries are not perform their duties up to task's, the community lack some social amenities. There is high percent of unemployment in the community and our country. I as a visionary leader,  that thinks about the future and advancements of the community, I started this project to make a positive impact to our community and the world generally.

I my vision project to my colleagues that i believed we usually understand my objectives. Then we started by try to raise fund to finance the project, but it was not so easy because most of all of the are students. I hustle to raise money to finance the project in a small scale.  I have been practice this project since when I was in the secondary school. I fully established this project in the year 2017. 

I am passionate about my project because I am committed with the spirit of serving humanity. I believe am destine to make impact to others and people should see me as a light to the World. For this reason's more people call me know me "WORLDLIGHT" because I chose to be seen as a light to the world, so chose the name.

The specific problem i'm solving is  important to me because I believed that is the key factor that it can solve so many critical problems in humans life, as the world is moving progressively in the knowledge of technology and entrepreneur. Impacting this to the community and the world is my great pleasure.

I'm well positioned to deliver this project due to the uncommon quality skills of leadership i possessed, which  are ability to face the most difficult challenges others are avoiding, and transform it into opportunities. The ability to ability to impact potential skills to elevate humanity and inspire others to solve some of the critical problems in the community. Ability to protest against social injustice in the community. I started immediately I left secondary school, but it not easy because of financial capital. I have to hustle for money to finance the project, Then I got inspiration to start my own business to finance the project. 

My experience: it was quite easy at the start because of finance capital that involve. This type of project need financial capital, because the equipment's and the facilities that will be use to solve the community problems.

In so many times I sacrifice my money, time, at my inconvenient state to attend to the people.  

The concept of using modern technological advances to improve human resources, and ability to transform obstacles into opportunities gives me confidence to deliver this project.

The example of my ability to overcome adversity: In the year 2015, I was intended to open a Computer centre  for benefit of the community. As a very young man, I seek financial assistant from the office of the wife of the formal governor (Mrs. Omolewa Ahmed) to support my project. She setup committees men to embark on the project with condition of sharing profits, on my part I was ask to prepare the business plan. I employed 5 staffs and asked for the service of additional 5 coppers for the project. I bear the risk, paying their salary personally. I submitted the business plan through the committees, whose are also politicians. After the committees red the business plan and discovered that is lucrative, they diverted the project and use another person to represent me as the owner of the project. They use my business plan, they stole my idea. My account was empty because I took the risk. I started over again, and today I have my computer centre without any external condition.

One of my experiences was the ability to solve community challenges in a difficult situations, and ability to transform obstacles into opportunities. There was a time in my community, the government introduced technology advancement into our tertiary institutions, including computer based test (CBT). Every candidate's seeking admission into Nigeria university need to have the knowledge of computer. either for JAMB (Joint Admission Matriculation Board) meanwhile, most of the students in our community are not computer literate's. I as a technologist, I bought 5 desktop computer system's and developed CBT application software. I organized seminars for students seeking admission into Nigeria Tertiary  institution. A lots of students turn up for the seminar, because there is high rate of  computer illiterates in the community. I also trained some stakeholders and proprietors from different geographical areas of the country. The stakeholders and proprietors also impact this knowledge to thousands of people's. The students came out with excellent results. 

In addition, I trained a lots of youths and ages in the community with required skill's to start their own business.

Furthermore, many business tycoon consult's me to help them develop business plan.

The concept of using modern technological advances to develop human resources and the use of technology to improve educational system towards the academician’s success. 

I want to see the people we created impact through our programme elevate even beyond their expectation. I want to see the also creating impact to the live others and creating solution to the world most critical challenges. I want to see them among the most great generations in the community and world.

I plan to serve about 250 people by  next one year and 

We have future projection to serve 2000 people

My goals within the next year is that am planing to open ICT centre that can occupy 250 people per session with computer and others technology devices. This will give more people opportunity to benefit from the programme.

In the next five years we have future projection plans, to expand our project by open a mega ICT centre with 1000 capacity. We intend to bring experts from foreign country, one of the best technology company in the world to impact potential skill's in our community. This mean the will start producing their local  goods that will useful and cheap in the society. 

The barriers currently facing to accomplished our future projection is mainly  financial capital. We need financial capital to acquire some modern technological advanced equipment's to facilitate the mega ICT centre's we proposed to install in different community. This is for the benefit of humanity, to impact potential skills that will elevate and inspire others to act as engines for social good of the community and the world.

We need 1000 computer system's with 250 each in 4 different geographical community. Follow by power generator, Air Conditions, working capital, and others materials and equipment's.

Technically, we are professional to handle any situations arise. In the legal aspect, government policy towards our projects is favouable and a welcome idea to develop the community. 

In terms of the culture we are good with it, we understand the culture of the people and there is no barrier to our project. 

The market is also highly fovourable as people demands more than the available capacity.    

The 1000 computer system's will be share 4 different geographical community with 250 units each for the ICT centre project. 20 Air conditions with 5 units for each community. 4 (40kv) Mikano power generator 1 unit for each community. 4 (3kv) inverter with 4 batteries, 1 unit for each community.

These resources will be use for Skills acquisition and training vocational centre. Where we impact innovate the community the potential skills to elevate and inspire them to act as engines for social good of the community, To empower and support their business. To educate the youths on the 21st century skills which is referred to content knowledge, literacy's and proficiencies that prepare individuals to meet the challenges and opportunities of today’s world.

Presently, we are not partnering with any organization.

Good and healthy relationship with people in the community is our business model, we make sure they are satisfy with our products and services. Our product and service charges price is very affordable compare to others. Our operating techniques are unique, in terms of time management, packaging, and free consulting service.

How I'm expecting to finance my work is through grants, selling products and services. If we successfully win this grant, we will be highly elevates to continue financing our projects, because   we will use the grant fund to extend our resources which will lead to generate more revenue.

• 5 split Air condition, per unit= $1,154.94

     5 units= $2,049,947.57

To raise fund, financial capital for my innovative project. To acquire some modern technological advanced equipment's to facilitate our proposed ultra modern ICT centre project, for the benefit of humanity. To transform their life with potential skills that will elevate and inspire others to act as machinery for social good of the community and the world. To be able to give financial empowerment equipment and prize for the people in the community we elevate.

The organization I will like to partner with is Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) 

I will like to partner with JAMB, once I meet up with their requirements. JAMB requirements means: an organization need to have modern ICT centre with at least or above 275 computer systems in capacity. Once my project is  consider as winner of the Elevate Prize, automatically I will meet up with the JAMB requirements, because my project will be equipped more than the JAMB requirements. 

JAMB will advance my project because they will be using it for exams annually, without interrupting our project. The jamb exam will only take two weeks, they will also award some of their registration with access code to our organization. We will generate more than $70,422.54

So therefore, partnership with JAMB will bring profits and advancement to my project.
