I decided merge technology with natural yarns to create technical and most comfortable clothes. Our mission is to find plants and yarns that might be underrated like – hemp. Industrial Hemp production have decreased because consumer demand and unawareness of its properties. Industrial Hemp crop makes 0.15% worldwide production while cotton 35%. Hemp crop use 5 times less water to grow, twice less land and don’t require any pesticides nor chemicals. And there are even more properties of hemp yarn which people do not know: hemp is abrasion resistant, three times stronger than cotton, protects from UV, breathable as linen, antimicrobial, resistant to mould. Technology allows us to produce very soft hemp yarn and create new, long lasting functional wear.
Our company aim is not only produce technologically advanced clothes, but we care where we source our raw hemp material. Hemp can be grown in areas where land isn’t so rich in minerals or areas where rain doesn’t hit much. There are plenty of countries where we could stimulate Industrial Hemp growth like: UK, Lithuania, Portugal, Poland, France, Africa, China and more… The problem we want to solve is – create a demand for hemp and delegate stimulation of industrial hemp growth. Also we research other raw materials and technology which can be beneficial for both: nature and consumer.
By making functional wear for active users we can apply variety of technologies to solve consumer struggles. We believe that smart textiles are smarter way to save land space, water and improve people financial status in hard-hit places.
