If there was a way people can wait in queues from their home itself, it would get lot more easier to come at the shop and purchase their items directly. No waiting at the shop. Thus no contact with strangers. No contact implies no local transmission of the virus.

Our app is built in React Native with a back-end service of Firebase. We use Firebase authentication, Google sign in, OTP, realtime-database and cloud functions. We use shopkeepers shop location. Our app works on both Android and IOS devices.
We target densely populated regions where maintaining social distancing at public places is difficult.
We reduce the physical load on shopkeepers to handle large number of customers in pandemic like situations.
People will no longer be seen waiting in a queue because they are already in the queue digitally. In general situations when people stand in a line, some people obstruct the queue and enter in the middle of the line. This frustrates people who are standing there for almost an hour. Taking the queue online will prevent such incidents. This benefits customers as well as shopkeepers. Social distancing is followed perfectly.
Shopkeepers also have a risk to catch the virus if they have multiple people in their shop at once. Our app allows them to invite the next person in the queue depending on how many he/she can handle at once.

Shopkeeper here implies someone who is in-charge of the queue. Existing apps on Play Store support appointment booking. They are apps to improve the business of the shopkeeper. As per our research no one implements a real-time queue and provides real-time updates to the people.
Our app is first queue management app based on social distancing. We provide a solution in a pandemic situation as well as day to day life where queues are implemented for providing services. We help the shopkeeper to handle large amount of people systematically.
We are working on improving our queue algorithm to predict waiting time in shops per customer based on their previous records.
Our app is built in React Native. We use backend of Firebase. We have implemented complete user authentication, Google Sign In, OTP with Firebase authentication.
We have used Firebase Cloud Functions to update the queue in our real-time database.
We have used Expo components like Google authentication and Google Maps.
Our app is designed with CSS. We have used a dark theme design for our app.
React Native supports cross-platform mobile app development. Thus our app runs on both Android and IOS devices.
