During the health crisis, most hospitals face a growing patient inflow, infected or not with the coronavirus. Consequence : a transmission of Covid-19 to hospital staff, hospital patients and to the population more broadly.
The urgency now is to prepare the post-crisis period : how can we continue to care for patients and protect health care workers by limiting the risk of a second wave of infection ?
Given the current situation related to Covid-19, we offer a step-by-step guidance application on smartphone to welcome and orient patients and visitors in a healthcare facility.
We help hospitals anticipate, optimize and improve patient flow and thus save more lives.
For patients, we allow them to save time, to go to their appointments more serenely and not to meet patients infected with covid-19.
Our solution can answer the Health Security & Pandemics Challenge. We are committed to transforming the health sector.
The coronavirus crisis has affected our world in many ways. Many sectors, including the hospital sector, have been impacted. Indeed, hospitals have been on the front lines of the Covid-19 outbreak facing with a massive patient inflow. As a result, spread of the coronavirus to hospital staff, hospital patients, and to the population in general.
According to WHO, 1 infected person in 13 is a healthcare worker, therefore, healthcare professionals have a high risk of contracting the virus.
On the other hand, patients who go to the hospital don’t know if they’re infected or not.To this day, more than 8 million people are infected around the world (according to John Hopkins Resource Center).
That’s why, it’s really essential to detect and isolate them from other patients and healthcare professionals in order to limit the transmission of the virus.
Our solution on smartphone is really easy and simple to use, here are the steps :
The patient, who has first downloaded the hospital mobile application, facilitates his admission by transmitting his supporting documents via his smartphone, and by indicating the reason for his arrival or his symptoms.
Once the patient arrives close to the hospital, he is detected. The relevant services are then automatically notified of his arrival. Any useful information is notified via the patient's smartphone (reminder of social distancing, obligation to wait in the car, etc.).
As soon as his doctor is available, he is immediately informed by SMS.
Depending on his symptoms, he will be guided step-by-step in real time to his appointment or service without meeting “uncontaminated” patients. The covid patients are taken by a path defined in advance with the hospital.
Our patented technology works without hardware or wifi.
Our solution is useful for everyone : patients infected or not, healthcare workers and hospitals.
We help patients save time, to go to their appointments more serenely and not to meet patients infected with covid-19. We can say we protect them in a way.
We help hospital anticipate, optimize and improve patient flow and thus save more lives.
We help healthcare workers know which patients are potentially infected thanks to the patients’ answers on the hospital application.
The problem we address is to limit the transmission of the coronavirus in healthcare facilities, to protect healthcare workers and to take care of patients.
Our service is already being deployed in several hospitals in France and seems more relevant than ever in this context of social distancing and respect of barrier gestures.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth
- A new application of an existing technology
Instead of offering only geolocation, we have chosen to build a real use case for hospitals. Indeed, we are convinced that our service will not only save time for patients and visitors, but will also reduce delays, make admissions more fluid and free up time for healthcare professionals.
We have identified competitors but only one is addressed to health institutions. Our difference is that we offer a complete patient pathway from automatic admission to the orientation of patients and visitors (to their hospital appointment).
Our technology is patented. Only a smartphone is needed because we use its sensors. No hardware, no wifi is required.
In 2019, we signed with 4 hospitals, 1 POC has been ordered and several hospitals are in the process of being signed in France.
