This novel mapping & data visualization service aims to interpret the level of preparedness of communities into actionable bullet points that leave a donor or policymaker with a decision to make.

The Public Advisory’s digital interface for a community may read: ‘Gravely Unprepared’, ‘Unprepared’ and ‘Prepared’ with further advice on what amenities may need to be supplied or donated to move such a community from ‘Unprepared’ to ‘Prepared’.

It connects healthcare administration directly to communities and people and prevents waste of meagre resources. 

Pandemics and diseases are harder to track in Nigeria because healthcare administration is largely a top-down approach and the resulting policies effected usually do not take into consideration the informal lifestyle and poverty in local communities.

Thus, the 443 million poor people living in Africa's informal communities remain invisible to donors and policymakers. Any aid that comes takes longer to reach them and even the meager, available resources approved are not effectively distributed.

Our solution is a mapping & data visualization service to produce novel interfaces that can be syndicated with television and visual media platforms. It will use a website, for general purposes; an email service to reach a network of media houses, potential donors and key policymakers.

Our Solution seeks to illuminate and connect high-risk, border communities that connect North and South of Nigeria numbering over 120 million people.

By our website solution, we directly bring to the attention of donors and policymakers people in hidden communities. In turn these communities receive aid faster.

Our advisory service focuses on preventative and mitigation measures that enhance disease surveillance systems and make it more resilient by filling the gap that is informal practitioners and practices in the healthcare supply chain at the level of the local government.
