Humachina is a human-centered artificial intelligence platform to reinvent the way people learn and perform

1- 30% - 50% of jobs will be lost due to automation by 2030 which is 50 M worker from the US labor force.
2-The improper career guidance is a hidden problem that causes the following:
2a- 83% of students fail to find a job when they graduate.
2b- 40% to 50% of unemployed take from 15 to 53 weeks to find a job
2c- 45% of companies report difficulty finding skilled candidates for their job openings,
2d- 482:1 student to counselor ratio.
Solution is built on both psychology and artificial intelligence with a human-centered approach, a technology that empowers the human but at the same time learns from them to be more intelligent. Humachina is developing an A.I. human capital platform that is managed by an A.I. career coach (Marvin) to provide the infrastructure and the rules for a marketplace that brings together and empower the following markets:
1- Universities to empower student as they define their future career direction & encourage them to explore the full suite of tools and resources both now and after they graduate.
2-Job seeker to be aware of her professional identity & find her best fitting job.
3-Career advancers to bridge the gap between their skills and their career goals.
4- Employers to find her skilled right talent for her job vacancies.
5-Employment Agencies to increase their efficiency and employment rates.
6- MOOC providers to raise their completion and engagement rates.

We believe that people will be more efficient, creative and productive when they are fully aware of their skills, strengths, and personality traits. In addition if they receive personalized data-driven guidance by an A.I. (personal career coach) that is aware of human performance and learning psychology, updated with the employment market dynamics and needs. An A.I. brain that can match the right person with the right opportunity in milliseconds. The same brain can bridge the gap between people dreams or objectives and their current skills through recommending what suits them in terms of learning styles, time management, and location. Humachina solution at this moment, when all the students, job seekers, career advancers, and workers have Marvin, they will be very well equipped to face the inevitable challenge of automation and find a way to reach their professional and personal objectives.

Our solution represents the application of theory and practice, the building blocks of our solution is composed of the integration between human psychology and A.I. technology, this is attained by training and developing algorithms on cognitive psychology (how humans learn), developmental psychology (how humans develop) and organizational psychology (how humans perform).
The outcome of the above is an AI human capital agent (Marvin); with capabilities that can; learn, communicate, understand (users and market), personalize recommendations, follow up and give precise feedback.
Marvin's inevitable evolution will arise by the exponential growth of data consumed.
Technology is the core of our solution and is represented as follows:
1- Machine learning algorithms (supervised and reinforcement learning) to learn and provide personalized recommendations
2- Cognitive Architecture to build the knowledge graphs for the labor force market
3- Natural Language processing NLP to make Marvin capable of communicating and understanding.
Phase 1: B2C
Our main goal over the next year is to build a community of university students in Washington DC, starting with Georgetown university (10K) and expanding to neighboring 20 universities & colleges, with a mission to acquire 50K users by the end of the year.

The total addressable market is 25M students in 1,950 universities and colleges. Our bold vision in the next 3 to 5 years is to acquire half of this population.

After achieving the above our platform will be ready to provide our services (AI career coach) to:

2- Corporate; addressable market is 18,500 enterprise and 12M SMEs represented in 6.5M job openings in 2018

Initially through our student community in Georgetown university via a dedicated team member studying there with expansion and scaling through word of mouth and referral system backed by marketing activities.

We are currently in the prototype stage, 100 users from different universities were reached using focus groups, interviews and surveys to validate our business model and that the solution is fitting their needs. Based on the results we developed our 1st MVP.
Based on the users feedback we are re-designing our MVP to execute on our year 1 to year 5 plan mentioned above.
As mentioned above we are targeting 50k university graduate students as an initial segment in Washington DC. In 3 years we aim to acquire half of the student population. We expect to have success stories with in 1-3 months from their joining in terms of matching with their most fitting jobs or the right learning material. This will happen because our technology is designed to crunch huge amount of data about the initial segment labor market. On the other hand our user experience will grantee that the user are self-aware, well prepared for the market.

Hossam has 12+ years in education, psychology, and A.I. Abdelrahman has 7+ years as a psychotherapist and 5+ as a Sales Manager. Mohamed Rashed has 17+ years in the marketing industry with a passion towards communication. Tarek Rashed our Innovation director holds a master's degree in Industrial Engineering and Senior Enterprise Account Manager at Microsoft. Omar Roshdy our Strategist holds a M.B.A. from London Business School, and a VP of Sales.
