EnjoyTech Wellness Watch
We believe that everyone, regardless of their economic status should have access to innovative health technologies.
Recent events have once again highlighted the fact that underserved groups are at the greatest risk of negative health outcomes because the lack basic medical resources.
Our wellness watch will serve as a personal health guardian. It will continuously monitor the body’s vital signs; body temperature, blood oxygen, blood pressure, and heart rate. Wearers will be alerted to irregularities, which could be early indicators of viruses or other health changes. The wellness device also includes many fitness and communication features to support daily activities.
Low-cost and well implemented solutions can bridge the health gap caused by inequitable access to healthcare.
The wellness watch will empower wearers to stay abreast, and take timely action for your health.
Good health is a human right.
Due to inequitable access to healthcare and lack of education around positive health behaviors, the life expectance of black men and women in America is a decade fewer than their counterparts of other races. Inequitable access to health care include lack of health insurance, high costs of primary care, residing in areas that are far from quality medical care, and minimal health education resources. The combination of these factors mean that underserved populations do not have medical screenings and interventions as frequently as they should. Since these folks are unable and sometimes unwilling to access healthcare, they can be empowered by providing them with resources that make health monitor easier. Additionally, if they are able to access programs and tools to improve their knowledge of positive health behaviors this could contribute to improving their health outcomes.
Our wellness continuously monitors the body’s vital signs; body temperature, blood oxygen, blood pressure, and heart rate. Users are alerted to irregularities, which could be early indicators of viruses or other health changes. The wellness device also includes many fitness and communication features to support daily activity. The multiple sport modes in the watch support engagement in a variety of physical activity. There is also sleep monitoring, water intake tracking and sedentary reminders. We also provide curriculum to support users in understanding the various health metrics and positive health behaviors that they need to engage in. By supporting individual health monitoring people are empowered to take timely action for their health.
We aim to serve marginalized populations who usually have limited access to innovative technologies due to the high price point. Our watches are manufactured for a low cost because it focuses on the essential medical functions. As we developed the technology we have engaged with this demographic over the years as our programs are used within inner-city public schools.
If communities want to prepare folks to quickly respond to emerging pandemics then we need to empower individuals, families and workplaces to continuously monitor their health metrics for early detection of health changes. Our tool puts the power of health monitoring a variety of health metrics into one tool and allows the information to be shared instantaneously with a network. This level of moment-to-moment data collection and distribution can be the difference between early detection, rapid response or fast spread.
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
- A new technology
The temperature monitoring feature was developed in response to the COVID19 pandemic that has gripped the world recently. Since body temperature and blood oxygen concentration are two important indicators related to COVID symptoms many individuals and institutions are checking these metrics. Currently most solutions involve people checking themselves periodically with thermometers or having themselves checked on entry to certain venues or visits with a doctor. Our watch allows people to continually monitor these metrics and receive an alert if anything goes awry.
A miniaturized Thermometer combines with blood oxygen concentration, blood pressure and heart rate monitoring. All the metrics are periodically collected by the watch and charted on the app. The technology is non-evasive and all the data is easily accessible in the watch or mobile app.
Many of the features in the watch exist in various smart watches on the Market. The body temperature monitoring has been independently tested by the SGS

- Imaging and Sensor Technology
- Software and Mobile Applications
Our watch, software and support materials allow people to understand how to monitor and stay on top of their health metrics. Due to the disparities in healthcare access many people do not have the access and tools to take timely actions for their health. Our watch aims to improve people's competency in monitoring their health metrics regardless of their insurance situation or access to quality healthcare facilities. In the short term our users should be able to quickly react and intervene for health concerns as they monitor it on a daily basis. In the long term we are expecting our users to improve health behaviors inputs such as movement and sleep as they integrate the use of their watch more into their life

We serve 600 people currently. We plan to serve 10,000 in the next year and 1,000,000 within 5 years
In the next year we are shoring up our D2C business but also building our our B2B partnerships. We think the direct to consumer business will allow us to reach people who have the means and sophistication to purchase from us directly. The B2B play aims to partner with organizations serving vulnerable populations who can benefit from our project but would not have been able to access it otherwise.
The ever-changing nature of technology means bigger, better funded companies may swoop in and replicate our solution and try to scale it faster. If we are not able to develop strategic institutional partners we also may not be able to scale and reach our target populations as quickly as we would like. Wearable technology has not been widely adopted by vulnerable populations because of the barrier of entry due to costs so we have to quickly find ways to get it into the hands of those groups by educating them and them access to our solution.
We hope that our proof of concept will allow us to attract investment and partnerships that will allow us to build our organization capacity to strengthen our marketing, R&D and outreach.
