PlataformaVerde is a blockchain SaaS to track materials, production processes and their discards, including the entire supply chain for raw materials, products and waste disposal. We offer total control of a company's production chain. Through PlataformaVerde, companies digitally control their consumption of MP, production and production losses, eliminating paper circulation in their processes and information asymmetry, in addition to helping to fight virus transmission agents as they eliminate human contact in the control. Data can be collected from mandatory systems and QRCodes.

We are looking to reduce the main contagion vector of COVID-19, paper, by digitizing processes and making companies able to do remote work.

Our proposal is give a QRCode to each person treated and each person who must wait at home too, through our APP it will include the data for monitoring the disease, temperature, symptoms, frequency and which medicine and frequency of use you are using for the symptoms parallel to Covid19, in addition to the real geolocation of those who must be confined. Still maintaining the anonymity of patients due to LGPD but generating the data necessary to control the pandemic. We are a Startup with a GovTech seal and we already have the experience of tracking more than 680,000 companies today. To trace the supply chain during the treatment process, bringing the necessary confidence and speed to the current processes that were previously known only in mismatched papers and spreadsheets, and today must be accessed remotely and safely beyond the Data Privacy.

After the COVID-19 scenario, companies started to need to change their internal processes. Our solution can help automate and digitize processes with all the security that blockchain technology brings. Allowing the user to have access in real time to all the data of their internal management and their production chain. With this, the teams can work remotely avoiding that employees and customers are exposed to the contagion of COVID-19, as well as avoiding the use of physical paper documents, one of the main vectors of contagion of the virus.

We are seeing an increase in demand for products that help companies digitalize and track activities remotely. PlataformaVerde does this in an unique trustworthy way: we use Blockchain as a service to provide information regarding the production chain with detailed insights for management, going as deep as mapping production losses and common mistakes made by end users. 

Besides that, we are able to provide value to a very unserved target in this aspect: PlataformaVerde addresses industrial production lines, often managed with outdated methods or even Excel and paper forms. 

We are the first brazilian company that uses blockchain in a non-financial application and in a BaaS (blockchain as a service) model. By watching how we grew in two years (from one client to 1,200)  and how we are now helping the largest cities in Latin America, starting with São Paulo that has 12,5 million habitants, in which we tracked more than 680k active companies that generates more than 20k tons of waste daily. To manage waste, we could say that our innovation has a great value to the private and public sector.

All our software is in a network format, where the inputs are shared between the parts of the chain and the data is not repeated. There are a lot of environmental platforms, but none that have developed this ecosystem locked and encrypted in blockchain between every part of the chain. Using Blockchain technology for encryption, traceability and information compliance makes it difficult to copy the solution. When we create other linked ecosystems, we increase the technological blockage. Today, we have 18 modules and 8 interconnected portals. We have 3 patents and 2 trademarks that also protect our business.

Until the pre COVID-19 scenario, our solution had zero churn in 3 years of operations. Taking into account the user feedbacks we constantly collect, the software generated not only the most reliable database of the waste generated by the company, as well as the waste management operations itself. It also works as a CRM aggregating registry information and obligatory environmental licenses of third party contractors - logistics, waste managers, final destinations.

By digitizing our processes, we avoid the use of paper and reduce the risk of contagion. Also through our screening application, we can control the entire process of disposing of contaminated materials in clinics and hospitals (also in field hospitals), thereby minimizing future impacts from the process control and certifying not only the destination of the used waste. in treating infected but preventing it from infecting others

In Brazil, only 53% of the waste is appropriately destined: there is no transparency in this relationship.

The same lack of control happens over the extraction of raw materials, which puts future production of several goods at risk as well as the ability to replace them or improve production chains. Productive losses could be transformed and relocated within the product chain, increasing the process efficiency and the shelf life of products.

We have more than 2.000 paying customers in the private sector, and in the public sector we attend more than 680k companies in the city of São Paulo, registered as large generators.

In five years we hope to be attending all the brazilian territory and major cities around the world.

Internationalization is in the near future roadmap for GreenPlat. We can help the public and private sectors to comply with environmental legislation, reach aggressive environmental goals and to regulate the actors of the production chain to reach a more sustainable production at a global scale. We currently are developing our strategy to enter the US market, understanding that is in the one of the countries with the highest production rates of the world we can provide the greatest value for society.

PlataformaVerde is a product powered by GreenPlat, a startup founded in 2016 by our CEO Francisco "Chicko" Sousa, who has been in the market for over 23 years. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum as a pioneer technology in the area of tracking production chains and is the only Brazilian in a world collision of the United Nations and the World Economic Forum in the development of an open worldwide platform for tracking consumer goods and their production chains.
