We are working towards improving the lives of Nigerians in general. We conducted a qualitative research amongst Nigerians across three states out of the thirty six states in the country and we designed our solution to address the challenges people generally face in the country.

Considering the fact that the Corona Virus is a global pandemic, it therefore means everyone is affected in our way or the other due to the virus as well as the lock down. After a careful research, my team highlighted the major challenges faced amongst many Nigerians. In line with our results, we resorted to design and develop simple and smart solutions that can be scaled in both rural and urban areas.

Currently there are two companies, running web based solutions to designed to solve most of these challenges in Nigeria however their solution is just limited to areas with good internet access. However our solution is unique because we have both a web based solution, Mobile App and an Unstructured Supplementary Service Data {USSD} platform which works both in remote areas and Urban centres. We have a patent right over our USSD platform.

Our solutions are simple and smart and we leveraged on Unstructured Supplementary Service Data {USSD}, Web App and Mobile App.

Our technology is a widely used and accepted technology in Africa and beyond. Currently we have over 3791 users within one month of flagging it off.

After an exhaustive quantitative research in three states in Nigeria across the six geopolitical zones, we were able to identify key challenges faced by Nigerians in both rural and urban areas. Therefore we streamlined our solution to address those challenges identified in our research. Sequel to the flag-off of our solution we have garnered over 3500 users within one month and with adequate funding, {Grants, Donations, Equity Investments} and partnerships we can achieve more.

Currently we have 3,791 users and we hope to have over one million users in one year. In Five years we hope to have over 7 million users.

As a leading industry innovator, our start up {Bloom Health Technology} is always poised to create exciting and stress-free solutions based on research, that are scalability in both urban & rural communities while focusing on human centred designs.

We believe everyone should have easy access to healthcare within their community hence we create simple and smart solutions.

In the next one year, we hope to improve the quality of lives of Nigerians through simple and smart solutions with this in mind we plan to amplify the impact of our solution in the 36 states of Nigeria. In 5years we plan to extend our solutions as well as base of operation to Kenya and Tanzania.

Currently our greatest challenge remains funding and staff strength. With the access to funding we can increase the level of our impact to other states in Nigeria. Thereby creating avenues where people can be more enlightened about our solution. With access to funding we can hire more staff to help boost the impact of our solution across other states.

We plan to seek funding through grants, equity investments and donations.

Currently, we have 4 full time staff & 3 volunteers.

Smith Chukwuma John is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Bloom Health Technology. He is an Innovation expert who has invested the last 2years leading the growth of Bloom Health and evangelizing an industry wide shift to technology innovation to drive healthcare based social intervention in Nigeria

 Egesi Gloria Obianuju, is the Chief Operations Officer of Bloom Health Technology. She is quite experienced in administration and finance. She has worked with various organizations spanning from construction to Education. She has 4 years cumulative experience.

 Uchechukwu Udo Igwe is the Technical Officer of Bloom Health Technology. He is a full stack developer with multiple experiences at different levels across various organizations within the innovation space.

 Osiri Ndukwe is the Legal Services Officer of Bloom Health Technology. He is a certified Copyright Practitioner from Harvard Law School. He also holds certifications in Intellectual Property, Software Licensing and Collective Management of Copyright & Related Rights from World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO).
