ATLAS Group London
Fifty percent (50%) of the global population do not have access to healthcare services. The need for high quality, modern healthcare provision has never been more pressing especially in more remote communities.
We are developing an end-to-end technology platform which we believe is the smartest way to design, build and operate healthcare facilities.
Our platform (ICAS®) is a Complete Digital Solution for the delivery & operation of modular healthcare facilities enabling rapid delivery of high-quality healthcare facilities by putting four corners around time & cost.
This will help governments & healthcare operators to rapidly scale their healthcare infrastructure and meet their healthcare challenges, both now and in the future.
In developing countries, the major causes of death/disability are treatable, preventable illnesses. The need for accessible/affordable primary care is urgent.
Access to primary health care services and achieving overall good health, helps people escape from poverty and provides the basis for long-term economic development. According to a study from the World Bank, interventions at the primary care level are able to address 90% of community health care demands.
Improving maternal/infant health is one of our core values as empowering and educating the most marginalized women by providing access to maternal health services is a key tenant of strengthening community health.
At ATLAS, we believe that innovation in basic science can lead to big breakthroughs in healthcare but, equally as important, is innovation in how we deliver affordable and effective health tools to those that need them. We are passionate about the potential for innovation to transform global health at every level.
Our aim is that people, in communities where our clinics are established, will live longer/healthier lives as we help provide improved access to health care based on the WHO principles of Universal Health Coverage and the targets set out in the U.N. Sustainable Development Goals.
We offer solutions in technology and design, enhancing the capacity of health service delivery, reducing costs, and deepening the reach of healthcare services around the world.
ICAS® provides time & cost savings in:
- Design
- Construction
- Operation
Our platform allows for real-time information to be exchanged between suppliers, manufacturers and contractors - dramatically reducing project costs and schedules.
This allows users to manage the entire process (from design, procurement, logistics, deployment, installation/commissioning) all from a single platform.
Using various software & hardware technologies, our bespoke generative designs bring together all the elements of delivering a healthcare facility into a common data environment.
Our 3D design models convert into complete Construction Kits which arrive on site with all necessary building materials and medical devices (including IT operating system enabling rapid activation).
Prior to arriving on site (and from the very first stages of design), we assign a Unique ID to every component (from steel beam to medical device) allowing us to track components at every stage of the process.
Using Bespoke Digital Twin Technology, this allows for real-time mapping of all components in the product lifecycle using physical, virtual and interaction data processes across people/places/systems and devices.
Social good is at the heart of what we do. Our solutions have been designed keeping in mind the most impoverished and underserved communities in the world. By providing access to quality healthcare we empower the most vulnerable and marginalised populations. We believe that better access to primary healthcare services helps communities escape from poverty and provides them with the basis for long term economic development.
With our adaptable and sustainable approach, healthcare stakeholders around the world can improve access to quality healthcare in underserved communities helping to transform global health at every level. ATLAS promotes and directly addresses U.N. Sustainable Development Goals 3 (Good Health & Well- Being) and 9 (Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure) which are in alignment with our core value of leaving this world better than when we entered it.
ATLAS designed facilities (from Diagnostic Clinics, Birthing Centres to Operating Surgeries and Isolation Units) can be configured specifically to meet the needs of each community and are particularly suited for more remote communities as they can operate completely “off-grid.” They also come equipped to diagnose for all 113 WHO designated “Priority Diseases” and are configured to track the top causes of mortality in that community.
Too many women die every year because they lack the maternity care they need. We are dedicated to understanding the challenges of and opportunities for improving access to maternity/infant care around the world.
There is a lot we already know about preventing pregnancy related complications, but more resources need to be dedicated to this issue. We envision a world where all women have the opportunity to enter motherhood and thrive.
We work to achieve quality and equitable maternity/infant care for all by increasing awareness and empowering/educating the most marginalised women by providing access to maternal/infant and primary health services.
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
- A new application of an existing technology
The construction sector is ripe for disruption. We are changing the way healthcare facilities are designed, built and delivered by bringing a digital solution to an industry that has been slow to digitise.
Our industry disrupting solution changes the process for building & delivering healthcare facilities from one with thousands of disconnected steps to a seamless process that is linked by our digital data thread (our technology platform). We are not a construction company, but an end-to-end technology platform that impacts construction by dramatically reducing projects costs & schedules.
The construction technology industry focuses on using emerging technologies, and innovative tools/applications to help transform the way companies design, schedule and deliver their construction projects. All with the aim of improving the quality and efficiency of construction professionals.
Our “secret sauce” so to speak, is that we do this for healthcare facilities. We are one of the first movers in the construction technology space for healthcare solutions, as other construction technology companies have focused almost exclusively on the commercial and residential sectors.
The vast majority of construction technology companies are either:
A. Trying to solve one part of the problem (e.g., design, procurement, project management), or
B. Are providing the fuller solution (like we are), but in the residential and commercial construction sectors.
Our technology platform (the ICAS® Platform) allows us to manage the entire process (the full solution) for delivering and operating healthcare facilities - from Design, Procurement, Logistics, and Manufacturing to Deployment & Installation, all from a single platform.
We offer solutions in both technology and design. Our digital platform (ICAS®) provides time & cost savings in 3 key areas:
ICAS® allows for real-time information to be exchanged between suppliers, manufacturers and contractors – which allows for a dramatic reduction in project costs and schedules. It also allows users to manage the entire process (from design, procurement, logistics, deployment, installation/commissioning), all from a single platform.
Using various software & hardware technologies, our bespoke generative designs bring together all the elements of delivering a healthcare facility into a common data environment.
Our 3D design models then convert into complete Construction Kits which arrive on site with all necessary building materials and medical devices (including IT operating system enabling rapid activation).
However, prior to arriving on site (and from the very first stages of design), We assign a Unique ID to every component (from steel beam to medical device) allowing us to track components at every stage of the process.
Using BIM 2.0 and Bespoke Digital Twin Technology, this allows for real-time mapping of all components in the product lifecycle using physical, virtual and interaction data processes across people, places, systems and devices.
We have had incredible traction over the last several months. The most exciting of which is on the software development side for our ICAS® Platform. We have now completed the virtual testing for ICAS® and reaching our Proof of Concept target. Reaching Alpha for ICAS® proves the concept that you can align all the disparate parts of a construction build and delivery into a seamless, customer focused environment. It takes us firmly from: “This is a great idea – wouldn’t it be great if it could work” to “This is a great idea – this is how it works and why it works!”. This is a big milestone for us. We are now proceeding with Beta and the additional developmental testing sprints for ICAS®.
We are also a part of the Oracle for Startups program, and use the Oracle Cloud for all our solutions. What the means is that via our ATLAS facilities, customers from healthcare operators to governments, can network any number of clinics and digital hubs integrating the most recent telehealth technologies. It also means that they can deliver better care to more people, benefiting countless lives.
In addition to software development, we have had great traction with customers with a signed LOI from International SOS (one of the biggest medical service providers in the world) to a dozen requests for proposals from stakeholders around the world. We are also partnering with established companies for the manufacturing/3rd fix items for our solutions.

The Global Hospital & Clinics Market (US$5.3 tn by 2025) and Global Healthcare Construction Market (US$197 bn by 2025) address segments including growth drivers & restraints. A Supply Chain Analysis comparing public/private expenditure, new hospital & clinic projects, & market opportunities demonstrate a growing demand for quality healthcare & the drivers behind financing it. Our initial focus is on the highest growth regions of Africa, Asia, the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
By 2025, a new global consuming class will have emerged, and the majority of consumption will take place in developing economies. This will create rich new market opportunities. Recent economic growth in these regions make them especially attractive for innovations in the health space. For example, up to 75% of the population in some of these regions reside in rural areas but the majority of facilities are in urban areas. The proximity of facilities to local populations & high disease burdens are major challenges but each of these factors presents an opportunity for innovation. There is huge room for growth & renewed vigor for expansion & development of new healthcare facilities as the global demand for healthcare facilities is simply not being met.
We have a truly global team with our Founding Team, Advisory Board, and partners originating from all over the world with diverse backgrounds. Access to quality healthcare is a global challenge and we need an international perspective to solve it.
Social good is at the heart of what we do. Our solutions have been designed keeping in mind the most impoverished and underserved communities in the world. By providing access to quality healthcare we empower the most vulnerable and marginalized populations and help them escape from poverty and provide such communities with the basis for long term economic development.
With our adaptable and sustainable approach, healthcare stakeholders around the world can improve access to quality healthcare in underserved communities helping to transform global health at every level.
As one of the “First Movers” in the construction technology space for Healthcare Building Solutions – we are breaking ground on new opportunities in this sector. By digitizing, integrating, and then optimizing the process of building and delivering healthcare facilities, we will become market leaders.
We believe that the combination of technology and cutting-edge hardware is a game changer for the healthcare construction sector. By offering solutions in technology and design our solution will help enhance the capacity of health service delivery, reduce costs, and deepen the reach of healthcare services in remote areas in developing countries around the world.
We have two main barriers to entry: Economies of Scale and being one of the ”First Movers”. As we establish ourselves in the marketplace, increased production volumes will result in fewer input costs.
Our network effects derive from increasing the economies of scale on both the supply and demand side – by delivering innovative products to consumers on the demand side and offering cutting-edge technology to providers on the supply side we create a unique & differential value proposition to users solving their unmet needs.
This is how we will overcome our barriers to entry:
1. Offer customers cutting-edge technology creating a differentiated and unique value proposition at a lower cost.
2. Provide best customer experience by providing quality product and ensuring systems are stable and can handle growth.
3. Partner with industries that provide complementary products (e.g., medical equipment suppliers).
