Nuverse Health Solutions
The recent COVID19 epidemic and its spread has made people aware of the importance of hand sanitation and washing. There is a need for solutions that can ensure everyone is following sanitation protocols and measures its adherence to minimise the risk of future pandemics and health security threats. After establishing the user identity, our solution dispenses the right amount of hand sanitiser and provides access to the premises only on detection of sufficient sanitisation. This kind of technological solution can provide data to the service industry of how their employees and customers follow the sanitation protocol and ensure safe and healthy environments and products. We believe that the next decade will see an increased incidence of sanitation related epidemics. Solutions that measure level of sanitation and provide a digital footprint of each user adhering to the sanitation requirement will ensure community health and prevent unnecessary stigma associated with poor sanitation.
The Covid-19 pandemic has affected almost every country globally. There have been 8,141,521 cases and 439,713 deaths till date and are increasing. There is a new normal now of maintaining social distance and regular sanitisation of hands for preventing the spread of the disease further. CDC has recommended the use of hand sanitisers with at least 60% alcohol for maintaining hand hygiene where adequate facilities of hand washing are not available. There is an utmost need to sanitise hands before entering any premises. As per the CBECS estimate, there are around 5.6 million commercial buildings in the US alone, having a large number of employees and visitors daily. The problem is massive on the global scale. There is a need to provide adequate hand sanitisation solution to all these people at the point of entry. Also a digital footprint of the sanitisation records should be maintained to ensure strict adherence.
Our AI enabled contactless sanitised access system provides access to the building employees, visitors, residents, etc. only on assurance of sufficient hand sanitisation. The system establishes the user identity at the point of entry via RFID cards, Mobile Bluetooth, QR codes, Face recognition, etc (any one) and dispenses the required amount of hand sanitiser for the entrant. The system also uses the neural network to establish the level of sanitisation achieved and then provides access to the premises. It can also send messages related to the consumption and sanitiser refills required to the facilities management. We make use of AI, Blockchain and Data Analytics to build a digital footprint and analyse the adherence levels of the users. All the data is stored in the cloud and is available to the authorities as and when required.
Nuverse is a solution for the global populace in the Covid days and post Covid too. Office buildings and individual offices in them, Resident Buildings, Smart Cities, Restaurants, Retail premises, Hospitals, Parks, all type of commercial establishments, etc. need to ensure that their employees and visitors are adequately sanitised prior to giving them entry. This will minimise the spread of the disease and also maintain a digital record of everyone accessing the premises. The solution can be also deployed at various locations within the premises, to ensure hand hygiene at regular intervals. Our research has shown that the traditional touch based office access system has been rendered useless in these days of pandemic. There is no system currently which measures the level of hand sanitisation of the employees and reports the same to the concerned authorities. Our system will have two advantages: one lesser complications due to lack of sanitation and two lesser stigma due to this objective system ensuring that all users irrespective of their status sanitize and adhere as per requirements.
The current pandemic has caused havoc and fear amongst the global community. People of all age groups, irrespective of their gender or age, are susceptible to be infected by the virus. There maybe an increase in sanitation related pandemics in the future. Hand hygiene is of utmost importance in such scenarios. Our solution provides the same along with maintaining digital records of adherence. Thus aiding in prevention and slowing down of the spread of the pandemic. It also provides support and protects health workers to a certain extent. The digital footprint of individuals will also assist in making informed decisions.

There are companies like Honeywell, Bosch, etc. that provide office access systems and then there are companies like Purell, etc. that provide hand sanitiser dispensing systems. Ours is a unique solution that integrates the functions of both, access system and automated hand sanitiser dispensing. In addition, it also provides a digital footprint of the daily sanitisation levels of the user. This gives full control to the building/ office management to ensure adequate sanitisation levels within the premises. Thus limiting the spread of the disease.
Office access systems are currently available and so are hand sanitiser dispensers. We are a first solution which integrates them both and also provides a digital record of the user. Apart from establishing the user identity and dispensing WHO recommended alcohol based hand sanitiser on activation, our system uses sensors to detect the sanitisation of the hands. Alcohol sensors detects the attentiveness of alcohol gas in the air and an analog voltage is an output reading. Arduino platform is used for the same. The AI neural network determines the level of sanitisation of the user prior to providing access to the premises.
Our solution uses two widely available technologies of office access system via RFID cards/ face recognition/ Mobile, etc. and an automated dispenser which uses an IR sensor for detection of infrared energy of our hands for dispensing the sanitiser. The system also uses alcohol sensors to detect the presence of sanitiser on the hands. The AI neural network then quantifies the level of sanitisation of the hands to provide access.

Activities:
Our solution provides contactless entry to the premises for an individual.
It also provides automatic dispensing of hand sanitiser at the entry and various other defined locations.
And it also creates a digital footprint of the sanitisation levels of each user.
Outputs:
Ease of use for the user. No need to carry sanitiser. Assurance of touch free sanitised entry.
Assurance of hand sanitisation levels of the user for the building management.
Short term outcomes:
Digital sanitisation record of each user. No excess use of sanitiser.
Medium term outcomes:
Improved sanitisation levels and increased awareness within the premises. Improved health outcomes of the users.
Long term outcomes:
Limits the spread of the pandemic. Reduces the stress on the healthcare system. Availability of user data for analytics and to make informed decisions.

Currently we are in the development stage and will soon start validation. We envision to touch a million lives in one year. We should be directly and meaningfully be able to contribute to 100 million lives in a period of 5 years.
Basic hand sanitisation is a basic necessity for everyone at the entry and exit of any commercial establishment or a public place, as it helps minimise the spread of pandemic causing viruses. We see our solution deployed in various commercial offices, retail establishments, restaurants, hospitals, parks, etc. in the next five years. Apart from providing hand sanitisation, we will also provide each user/ management with a digital footprint of their sanitation levels. To achieve our goals we would look for collaborations with like minded organisations to achieve the required scale and faster deployment.
Since hand sanitisation is a basic need during the Covid times and also post Covid, it is of utmost importance for our solution to be deployed into the market at the earliest and at scale. Even though there is no integrated solution like ours in the market currently, there are established brands which provide access systems and also sanitiser dispensers. This maybe a barrier to accomplish our goals.
As the need for our solution is global during the Covid times and post Covid times, we can look at collaborations with existing players at country/ regional level. This will take care of the barriers that may arise and also help us to scale globally and rapidly.
