Powered Air Purifying Respirator

Our clean room quality Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) technology was ready 5 years ago, it features 100% filtration efficiency, and is designed to fight against air pollution and prevent infection by airborne virus, such as influenza, TB, SARS, MERS, SARS-Cov-2, pertussis, pollens…etc.

In this COVID-19 time, it can save the whole world’s lives. N95 or 3M PAPR are not good enough (99.97%) to prevent being infected.

It is a light weight, low cost, high profit product. By wearing it, people can go back to work. Economics can keep moving forward, and people are not afraid of loss of their jobs.

1. We hope general public can wear our low-cost, clean room level, portable PAPR and still keep original activities. People does not have to stay at home, and occupational workers can go to work and paid. It is like setting up an individual Green zone, to distinguish with those infected and quarantined in hospitals (Red zone).

2. Biologic terrorism attack is becoming so easy that terrorists can easily bring some tubes of viruses, spread them on the outlet of air conditioner of hospital, create clustered infection, and quickly damage the whole country. We need to stockpile portable “Personal Clean-Room”, to prevent huge casualties as devastated by this COVID-19.

We use physical filter media to filter out virus. It needs high pressure fan, high efficiency filter media, and scientists from electrical, mechanical, chemical, physican and pulmonary doctors.

Our PAPR respirator can save HCW from infection. 14% of infected were HCW. We can help people go back to work, and keep their job. We can save country from backrupcy, because it has bailed out too much money to support jobless and hungry people.

In a negative pressure ward, there are multi-million aerosol (or viruses) floating on the air, can normal masks protect HCW ?

N95 mask : 1M * (1-95%) = 50,000 viruses inhaled (fit-test passed before use)

3M PAPR : 1M * (1-99.97%) = 300 viruses inhaled

Only a true 100% filtration efficiency PAPR can save HCW and general public lives.

How to count virus number in a ward ? please use a laser particle counter.

There are competitors like 3M, Honeywell, HP, MSA, North...etc., but their PAPR are using HEPA filter which only supports 99.97% filtration efficiency. Our PAPR can achieve 100% capture rate.

New ULPA filter media can provide 99.99999% filtration efficiency, but in some limited condition. We need high pressure fan to draw the air, pass through filter and deliver purified air to user's lung. Requirements from NIOSH 42CFR84 request at least 170 LPM for loose hood and 115LPM for tight-fit facepieces (half/full mask). This can not be achieved easily as high filtration efficiency means high pressure drop, and normal fan can not push enough air volume to meet it. We solved all this problem.

We need more capital to inrease production line, the more lines we have, the more people we can save. Like vaccine, to deliver billion doses can not be done in one day. Replicating production line is easy, but demand and forecast of key components such as filter media, ICs, fan...etc. needs good plan.

Because of lockdown, NIOSH certificate delay will be this year's barrier. More fund to support the production will be the challenge in next and next five years.

We can outsource production to Foxconn, there is no worry, but looking for new round of fund is important. High profit of this product can easily make it.

We will profit from selling products or services and looking for investment capital. The cost of our device is about US$90, but its retailed price is US$1,500, and is still in shortage.

Our PAPR can be used to prevent attacks of airborne infection, such as influenza, TB, SARS, MERS, H7N9, pertussis, pollen allergens…etc., and prevent triggers of asthma and COPD. Currently, there are patients of 10.4 million TB, 334 million asthma and 251 million COPD in the world.

There are 5.5 million COVID-91 cases already, and if lack of our device, more people will be infected in the second or the third waves. More than 90,000 health care works have been infected, and we can save them before it is too late.
