We launched a pilot with Georgetown University to build the next generation healthcare platform that meets both the technical challenges and legal requirements of HIPAA/GDPR. The pilot started with home quarantine monitoring for Georgetown University Medical Center and expanded to coordinate contact tracing efforts between healthcare providers and other stakeholders. The pilot has gained interest from other healthcare providers and public health agencies in D.C., Maryland, and Virginia, with plans to expand nationwide. 

Over the past weeks, there has been a lot of publicity around contact tracing. Different states are training resources to do this (manually). Apple and Google have announced capabilities using Bluetooth in phones etc. However, as more people dig into how it might work, there is a growing opinion that none of these will actually work as a standalone solution.

An official project has been kicked off with Georgetown University to build a rapid prototype for what we believe will be required (that goes beyond just contact tracing). It also deals with the privacy challenges head-on and eliminates a lot of the manual and cumbersome hand-offs that will be required by almost all the current attempts. It enables the coordination of efforts by multiple organizations / sources of data, providing a robust solution. 

LEDR has commercialized a cutting-edge technology developed by the NSA and DARPA. LEDR Technologies in partnership with Georgetown University is orchestrating knowledge in a high privacy-assured platform. The platform enables multiple organizations to collaborate confidentially in their efforts against COVID-19 without having to centralize information. Use cases include symptom tracking in partnership with healthcare providers, and real-time infection tracing and alerting that will be required for the world to resume normalcy in life.  

The underlying technology is built off of hypergraph data structure. 

Our technology allows organizations to share knowledge in real-time to coordinate efforts to reduce the spread of COVID-19 all while maintaining data privacy and security. This will be a critical step in opening the economy and going back to our "normal" lives. 

We will provide healthcare providers with a holistic view of the spread of COVID-19 in their communities and their patients. This will enable them to better prepare and allocate resources to the areas most in demand. The platform will also enable patients to better understand the severity of their symptoms and the recommended actions based on their results. Our platform will send alerts to individuals who may have been exposed to the virus, instructing them to take the necessary actions such testing or self-quarantine.
