Global Pandemic Decode
Although I am a disabled individual (with mobility restrictions), I'm also concerned. At this time, the world faces a crisis of mammoth proportions (Covid 19). I have just read a World Development Report which includes an interview with a Nobel Laureate and it says that if we are to find a solution to this crisis and all other not too remote pandemics, we MUST invest in preventing global migration, arrest social ferment by spacing urban slums (our biggest sufferers because of squalor, lack of sanitation and hygiene and overcrowding ) and guarantee poor livelihoods etc. To prevent this and others like global warming from increasing in intensity, we must launch a multiplicity of measures like investing in reform, child development, TECHNOLOGY (like telemedicine, tele-hygiene and tele-sanitation) and better welfare amenities for all peoples, every conceivable person. NO ONE SHOULD HENCE BE LEFT BEHIND, OR WE RISK FURTHER MORE SERIOUS CONSEQUENCES...
DECODING PANDEMICS, SUCH AS THE COVID-19 CRISIS. This is a global crisis of mammoth proportions, perhaps the largest challenge of our time. From Italy which was badly affected to several other countries in different stages of the virus, the entire world has been badly affected. Communications have come to a halt.
The virus nevertheless has more certainly led to more solidarity between peoples. I firmly believe that there is no point blaming anyone or in either vengeance or retribution but since the virus emerged out of wildlife (such as bats and pangolin), we should strongly consider banning wildlife food and drink products from the global market, even e-commerce channels, at least temporarily.
This apart from TECHNOLOGY (telemedicine, improved sanitation facilities in low-income countries and provision of mobile sanitary lavatories) and very importantly, SPACING OF HABITAT FOR THE URBAN POOR IN THE DEVELOPING WORLD (who often are the worst sufferers when it comes to squalor, overcrowding and disease). This will not only arrest migration, but also be highly consequential in DECODING global issues such as inequality and GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE.
The international community must realize that it is our moral responsibility to protect and preserve our beautiful planet.

As a concerned global citizen, I'm determined to DECODE the ills plaguing humanity to the best I possibly could. I'm someone who's undergone plenty of pain and suffering of a debilitating disability and find it difficult traveling (especially overseas). Yet, as a writer and a "Public Peace Prize" Laureate for 2018, Canada, it is my duty to create awareness, to advocate and to sensitize people on issues.
The TARGET POPULATION I'm addressing is the POOR IN LOW-INCOME REGIONS SUCH AS INDIA, BANGLADESH AND AFRICA. In any pandemic such as COVID-19, IT IS THE POOR WHO IS MOST AFFECTED, especially daily wage laborers such as in India who are just not able to bring sufficient to the table for their families and their children to be able to eat, not able to send their children of primary school-going age to school, not able to afford health and other welfare amenities, etc.
This is why I'd strongly and fervently RECOMMEND A COMPLETELY VIRTUAL ECONOMY EVEN A VIRTUAL SOCIAL POLITY AND SYSTEM WHEREIN THERE WILL BE HOMESCHOOLING TO VIRTUAL TERTIARY EDUCATION TO VIRTUAL HEALTH AND EVEN VIRTUAL HABITAT (AT LEAST TEMPORARILY) TO SOLVE THE HOUSING CRISIS.
