In many cities local business were forced to close, stopping their productions and firing their employees, who starts to face problems beyond the virus. Most of the time those small companies are not used to work online, what reduced their revenues. But working as usual, employees and clients all together, would risks people's life.The commitment aims to solve the lower of the economy avoiding agglomeration.The idea of AGENDAKI is to provide a safer way in the commerce pos quarantine by offering an online agenda, where people all over the world can schedule the best time to visit establishments avoiding agglomeration and keeping local business working.
Nowadays part of the world is facing quarantine to not spread the virus, living a period of changes, perhaps facing economy in a new way, thinking about their needies differently than before COVID-19.
With this scenario in mind, agendaki provides a chance for local business continue working but avoiding risks of contamination to their clients and employees through an online platform, an agenda that brings the possibility for people to schedule the best day and time to visit the establishments of their preferences, avoiding lines and agglomerations, while giving the chance to the entrepreneur to sanitize their space following WHO recommendations. People that used to work on those places are facing a huge problem besides the virus, the lack of money to eat and maintain the basics because they lost their incomes. According to SEBRAE, the Brazilian Support Service for micro and small companies at least 600,000 micro and small businesses closed their doors, and 9 million employees were laid off due to the economic effects of the new coronavirus, according to ILO the latest dire assessment reflects the full or partial lockdown measures affecting almost 2.7 billion workers – four in five of the world’s workforce.
Agendaki is an online agenda that provides a new possibility for local business to work avoiding the risk of contamination to their clients and employees. The platform brings an opportunity to buyers to schedule the best day an time to visit the establishment that they need, while for the small business the chance to continue working, following all information from WHO. This small firms are facing a huge problem since the spread of COVID-19 and suffering with all the economic issues that came with this health crisis, even with some cities starting to work in the period pos quarantine, people are scared to leave their houses what brings a blurry scenario for the future of this places. Accessing the online agenda, clients can choose their cities, category of the products and services, them find what they need in the registered stores in our system, them they can register themselves and opt for the best moment to visit the chosen place. Establishments also needs to register, the company determines the times, how many clients and how long them can stay. The technologies used to develop agendaki are Filemaker and PHP.
Agendaki was developed thinking to impact in a positive way the life of local business owners and their employees. It's a new possibility for them to continue working and save what they build through years and is in risk, since many of this places were forced to close with the start of the pandemia. Helping them the platform is also helping ordinary people to choose the best moments to visit their stores, which will be cleaned and sanitized according to the WHO organization. The idea started to be put in practice after interviews with both publics and after the analysis of a form, shared with some companies from Brazil with questions about how the idea could be applied in their establishments and behaviors of their clients. The team started to look for partnerships with local associations that works ideas as entrepreneurship, like FECOMERCIO and CDL, to support and help to spread the new possibilities for the people in need. In a commitment with the society the team also developed an e-book with the help on an infectologist, sent to owners when they finish to register, where explains all the steps to receive clients and workers.
The objective of the commitment is to connect people and local business with a free online agenda, giving the owners a chance to work and the citizens a chance to go to the places they like, avoiding lines and agglomerations that could spread the virus. Using the online platform they also have the chance to schedule a time for a call, what brings the possibility to go out only when necessary. Using agendaki owners can show their products and have a regular conversation with the clients without leave their houses. They can work with both possibilities.
