Auto-dispensing Mist Spray Sanitizer
When the dust of covid-19 settles, and the critical horror is put past us, man’s lifestyle will change in many ways, the core of which will be to gain protection from such untold biological epidemic/pandemic.
The period between these biological epidemics/pandemics are becoming shorter, therefore we must aim for preparation before another takes us unaware.
The aerosol sanitizing diffuser ensures the maintenance of a sterile environment through timed or motion-sensitive aerosol sanitizers to reduce and eliminate bacterial or viral load in our environment.
Bacterial and/or viral diseases spread will be greatly reduced or altogether eliminated if this solution is amplified on a global scale. Fears of a repeat episode of such biological pandemic will be dissipated and man will be better prepared to tackling other bedeviling challenges.
Over time, the period between the biological pandemics that have beguiled the world over, have become shorter and shorter. From centuries separating pandemics like the smallpox and the cholera outbreak to only 3 years separating the Ebola outbreak from the Covid pandemic. This begs the question: will we be ready when the next pandemic occurs?
The lifestyle of man will be impacted in many ways when the dust of the covid pandemic finally settles, core of which will include constantly sanitizing hands to be rid of bacterial and viral load. This may prove a cumbersome task for adults to constantly remember to use the sanitizer, and when they remember, the use of gel-based sanitizers leave sticky residues on the hands depending on the viscosity of the gel; it may also be difficult for kids to rubs into every parts of their hands properly when using gel-based sanitizers and for hand held items such as keys, phones, accessories, glasses etc to be sanitized, which is even more cumbersome using gel-based sanitizers.
We have designed a mist spray auto-dispensing sanitizer, which is timed to diffuse for 60-90 seconds in response to motion or temperature changes using thermal and motion sensors.
We offer a product that allows users to maintain a sterile environment through timed, thermal and motion-sensitive mist spray sanitizing diffusers to reduce bacterial or viral load in our environment.
The auto-dispensing mist spray type sanitizers will tackle challenges of:
1. Forgetting to carry around gel-based sanitizers
2. Sticky residues after using gel-based sanitizers
3. Adequately reaching all corners of children's hands
4. Sanitizing hand held items such as keys, phones, accessories, glasses, etc.
5. Employing extra staff for the purpose of checking temperatures using hand held thermometers and dispensing hand sanitizers.
Our product come in different shapes and sizes for user convenience at homes, offices, schools, cars, buses, trains, airplanes, worship houses, public places etc.
Our product can serve multiple purposes of sanitizing the environment, sweet fragrance air freshener, and adding aesthetic touch to the room.
Our solution serves everyone in need of an easier and automated fashion to use the sanitizer; People in their homes, people in offices, high traffic public places (airports, train stations, restaurants, worship houses etc), health workers in hospitals, children in schools etc.
Our product will ensure the ease of using sanitizers with improved efficiency as we go about our daily lives or adapt to the new normal way of living post covid 19 pandemic. it will also ensure that the risks of another bacterial or viral spread is greatly curbed or altogether eliminated.
It will create room for further creative modifications by entrepreneurs to our initial design as we adapt to the new normal way of life, thereby creating opportunities for job and wealth creation.
I believe our solution has the immense potential to enhance our adaptation to the new normal lifestyle following the pandemic and to create ease in adapting to the changes of perpetually and continuously sanitizing the hands.
Our solution can also minimize the possibility of curbing and/or eliminating another pandemic or bacterial/viral disease outbreak. It'll therefore help to instill and restore some bit of confidence in interacting with people in our environments post covid pandemic.

Our solution modified the gel-based hand sanitizer to an auto-dispensing timed, thermal and motion-sensitive mist spray type for ease of use, combat forgetfulness of carrying about and applying gel-based hand sanitizer and for efficiently reaching through all the corners of the hands when children have to sanitize their hands.
It also makes easy sanitizing hand held items such as keys, phones, glasses, accessories, jewelries, etc, which would have been cumbersome or impossible with gel-based sanitizers.
The sanitizing dispensers may be hung on walls to keep safe from toddlers in the home or school.
Also converting sanitizer from gel-based to mist spray helps gets rid of the feeling of sticky residues on the hands after using gel-based sanitizers.
Our solution relies on the use of thermal sensor and motion sensor electronic circuit boards to enhance the sensitivity of the dispensers to spray mist sanitizers on to the users' hands or hand held devices.
The technology used is a passive motion sensor (Passive Infrared Sensor), which does not have a transmitter. Instead of measuring a constant reflection, the sensor detects motion based on a perceived increase of radiation in the environment. The sensor is designed to detect the infrared radiation emitted naturally from the human body. The receiver is contained in a filter that only allows infrared to pass through it. When a person walks into the sensor’s field of detection, the difference in radiation creates a positive charge within the receiver; this perceived change causes the sensing unit to send electrical data to the embedded circuit board, causing mist sanitizer to be dispensed.
Temperature can be measured via a diverse array of thermal sensors. All of them infer temperature by sensing some change in a physical characteristic. The two main categories of these sensors are contact and non-contact style temperature sensors. Our non-contact thermal resistors detect a change in temperature that leads to dispensed mist sanitizer.
Both motion and thermal sensors are commonly used and existing technologies.
Motion sensors have been used to activate floodlights, trigger audible alarms, activate switches, and even alert the police. while thermal sensors have been used in thermoelectric and wireless thermometers, air conditioning systems etc.
