OKOUMEA INNOVATION
To valorize the natural products of the African forest with very strong biotechnological and bioeconomic potential and to live well
My field is the valorization of biodiversity products with a high potential for biotechnological and bio-economic development in the form of food supplements
Some of the most consumed products are plants for food, they are culturally important as part of traditional dishes or nutritionally as a source of vitamins. There is a considerable diversity of plant food in the forest. Vegetables such as sorrel Begonia spp. Hibiscus spp. And someMelastomaceae and kumbu gnetum spp.
Vegetable fats and oils come from Andok irvingia gabonensis, afopoga oleosa from afane panda oleosa and Moabi baillonella toxisperma
Fruits such as Amvout Tricoscypba spp. The atom Dacryodes macrophylia, the ofoss pseudospondias longifolia and the abam gambeya lacourtiana.
Nuts like hazel coula edulis. are so many products that we want to value and protect by seeking to reforest them to domesticate them easily and to increase their number to ensure their perenity.
The structure we intend to create will serve the entire community in terms of employability, food security and rural youth attachment to curb the phenomenon of massive emigration to the West.(Europa and América)
My flagship product is the Okoumé resin, Okoumé resin whose scientific name is resin Aucoumea klaineana can go in the manufacture of Rubber , gum, adhesives, fibers, incense, essential oils, and prostheses for the disabled and cosmetics.
- Upskilling, Reskilling, and Job Matching
- New Industries
our innovation will serve as leverage for African indigenous people who for the most part live in rural areas and are content to consume biodiversity products under the traditional and ancestral model without achieving industrial transformation to create added value and modernize their environment. consumption patterns to participate positively in world trade and drive technological innovation.
through the feasibility study we will produce the product identity card, produce a technical sheet and develop pharmaceutical solutions using phytochemistry by highlighting the different active ingredients, then isolate the molecules of interest to synthesize them and see how to produce them in the laboratory to make drugs. the same process will be used for the other fields of application of the product.
-Realization of feasibility studies, market and technological benchmark to refine the design of our project
-Analysis and construction of business models / business plans to define our positioning
-Accompaniment to the development of pilot projects to test our solution
-Definition of strategy, techno-economic analysis, process structuring, identification of partners to deploy our solution / business model on a large scale
-Assessment of the environmental and socio-economic impacts of an access project to enhance our project, especially among donors
Create solutions in the areas of health, renewable energy to improve the health of populations and empower them energetically while creating jobs.
We want to develop our company by setting up a plant biotechnology laboratory to fight against poverty and provide sustainable solutions that do not favor the destruction of our forests but rather encourage the State to protect them in view of the added value that will result .

once our solutions are developed we will disseminate them through social media, we will participate in fairs, professionally sallons and we will market them by Ecommerce or in stores. local populations will benefit from these solutions by obtaining very large discounts on the purchase price.
we work in the fight against poverty and social exclusion of young people, we plan to create this business to create jobs for young people but also to financially empower nearly 50,000 persons living in rural poverty. through forest products inventory activities related to our work, harvesting and transportation
We intend to reach 5000 people in 12 months through our solutions
- 9
- Less than 1 year
We have compound technical skills
- a specialist in Agroforestry
- a specialist in biochemistry
- a plant biotechnology specialist
- a phytochemist
- an engineer desiner
our income model has two aspects
- the marketing of raw products collected by villagers in the forest which allows us to financially empower them
- then converting raw products into innovative products to have a better value
We submit our project to solve so that this institution helps us to structure by the acquisition of a funding that will allow us to buy laboratory equipment to refine our solutions. on the other hand, we are open to a strategic partnership for research and development through information exchanges, collaboration between teams, support for research funding, royalties sharing and co-ownership of patents.
Lack of funding to build a real laboratory, lack of materials and equipment
Solve must help us by providing us with the necessary funding to build a laboratory and its equipment.
