Most of the Covid 19 cases came from contaminated surfaces and contact with infected patients.

What if one could have an app that could alert you that you are in a potential hotspot, or the person sitting next to you may be infected?

An information sharing app could do the trick. As an opt in program with defined algorithms, the app will collect places you have been to, people you have been with the last uber you took etc( the parameters are endless) and use this information to determine your risk level.

This information will also be critical for contact tracing to the authorities where one is confirmed to be infected.

Taking the Kenyan country and how Covid -19 has affected her, patient zero came in unchecked and infected others who in turn did the same to others.

the greatest problem authorities and people in general are having is tracing the potentially infected peers and tracing the travel history of the infected patient.

With little of this information, the disease rages on. 

What if this information could be available?

An opt in app names Pamoja Living that will collect various sets of data to determine if one is being exposed and at what rate and in turn share the same to the peers around.

Using location services, travel history, people in contact, means of travel etc, an algorithm will calculate a persons health rating and where is gets worse, even recommend him for testing.

It will also share this information with peers without necessarily over exposing him/her and be able to establish hot spots.

This solution serves the general public and the authorities where when utilized well, it will be able to help fight pandemics such as covid 19 very effectively

This solution applies to every nation and group of people whenever a pandemic occurs. Along with other solutions such as the help from authorities in will change the pandemics map which is one of the goals that this challenge hopes to achieve.

Necessity is the mother of invention, we have a problem in our hands that needs solving, we have no choice but to innovate.

Times have changed, and new solutions must accompany this change, being an opt in app, one gets information only if one is willing to share which makes it a perfect barter trade kind of solution.
