Our country has one of the highest child mortality rates in the world. Acute malnutrition varies between 8 and 10% depending on the territory, 14% of women suffer from chronic energy deficiency, underweight affects 23% of children under 5 years of age, while 19% suffer from it in schools.
Despite the efforts made by the government and the support of the international community at certain levels; Uvira is endemic to malaria, respiratory infections and cholera, which indicates that its population still lives in rudimentary hygienic conditions. The outbreak of high blood pressure, diabetes mellitus, and cardiovascular accidents, significantly increases adult mortality.

Our Associative Centers are places of free access for all people in precarious situations or in search of projects. People come voluntarily for a support, a listening and the use of logistic means in their employment and daily life or to discover the different possibilities related to their requests. The notion of voluntary access is important. The notion of voluntary access is important. Access to our associative centres is not part of a "compulsory course" linked to a right or compensation, but is part of an ethical charter of our own values. People can participate in regular group workshops, outings or events. The objective of these activities is to promote their autonomy through an active participation in a citizen's approach. The will of our approach is to make people actors within their environment in a responsible approach of quality in order to allow them to find their rights and their place in society.
The stain is difficult for the following reasons. Lack of funding for projects, lack of material means to accomplish certain tasks.
