SUSTAINABILITY WITH BAMBOO & GRAPHENE
Construction industry contributes to more than 50% of the world's carbon emissions. Several innovations with Bamboo composites for construction have proven its applications and named "Green Steel". Graphene has proven to be a additive to create even more stronger composites that are also weather resistant and have several desirable properties. Recent innovations showed Graphene can be manufactured from urban waste as well as farm waste.
The COVID pandemic has seen tens and thousands of construction migrant workers return to their villages to a life of poverty and no hope. However if they are trained to grow bamboo and also harness waste. Bamboo Graphene manufacturing centers can be set up to collect the raw bamboo and waste and generate resilient bamboo graphene composite construction components like beams, columns, walls, panels.
We would like to help set up the manufacturing units in rural areas that are in proximity to both urban and rural centers.
Solving the problem of mass unemployment rendered by COVID and providing sustainable entrepreneurship to the migrant workers as well as creating sustainable building technology
An App can be created to connect the bamboo producers and rural, urban waste collectors with the manufacturing units. Most of the unemployed migrant labourers have rural land and bamboo grows easily in most climates and does not require intensive farming tech.
This would help generate jobs away from urban centers, and help in
decongesting slums and reducing hazards like what we are facing with COVID in the Indian Urban slum.
We would be creating sustainable building tech as well as creating sustainable entrepreneurship for several recently unemployed indians

Sustainable entrepreneurship with Sustainable building techology
- Concept: An idea being explored for its feasibility to build a product, service, or business model based on that idea
- A new application of an existing technology
Combining Social entrepreneurship for the jobless migrant community along with creation of innovative sustainable building composites from green materials Bamboo & Graphene
Technology will involve existing technologies of manufacturing graphene and bamboo composites and merging them both into a new composite for making resilient building materials with lowered carbon emissions
Graphene is being used widely as construction composites along with plastics even to make bridges and weather proof as well.
Bamboo composites are already identified as"Green steel" and used extensively

Will be a "for profit" venture where the bamboo cultivators, waste collectors will be trained and registered on the eco system via an App and continuosly supported and materials purchased at fair prices to enable a good profit and future for them.
Manufacturing unit will be mechanized and employ women also at equal pay with men and mostly employed from rural areas, after training with regular working hours so mothers also can be employed.
Schools can also be sponsored and set up as time goes by for the community
