ReBuild.Making entrepreneurship aspiring
ReBuild is aimed to address challenges around SDG 8 of ‘decent work and economic growth’ along with SDG 1 and 10. ReBuild focuses on nurturing the entrepreneurial spirit of the economically marginalized by identifying and nurturing ‘entrepreneurs’ in an experiential learning manner using an affordable and accessible digital platform designed on the principles of human behavior, design thinking and diffusion of innovation. Through ReBuild we aim to promote grassroots entrepreneurs thereby creating jobs and wealth at the bottom of the pyramid while solving their own problems.
India alone has alarming undersupply of livelihood opportunities of 0.25 million/month as compared to a demand of 2.0 million/month. Worsening of an already critical problem because of COVID 19 , impacts livelihood. The livelihood/income lost 130 million. The urban to rural, (reverse) migration is estimated as 20-25 million.
Our solution is based on the 4D model. The use of Visual, Aural, Read/write, and Kinesthetic sensory (VARK) modalities for training rural entrepreneurs in the online mode. Using XR technologies and giving them the experience of doing a business to give them confidence to initiate business.

Use Case of Raju Barat, Amale Village, Tribal Maharashtra: Raju has no agriculture land of his own. During the agriculture season, he takes land on lease. The plight is such that all the risk is all borne by him and the success is shared between the landlord and himself. During summer months, Raju travels to the nearby city of Mumbai for labour work to find enough to make his both ends meet. There are over 200 million individuals in the situation of Raju in India rural and tribal area’s. Our solution will help them identify a livelihood that means closer home. A livelihood that will be solving a local problem or leveraging a local strength. Our solution along with training to become an entrepreneur also gives the confidence/risk taking ability by trying options through XR and along with mentorship
- Equip workers with technological and digital literacy as well as the durable skills needed to stay apace with the changing job market
- Pilot: An organization deploying a tested product, service, or business model in at least one community
- A new application of an existing technology
Though there are many platforms and offline models which can provide training to the rural people, there aren't enough passionate tutors that are necessary. Even if there are, their availability to help/guide at the right time and right place is always a challenge. So we want to automate this and provide an immersive gamification experience to make the rural people learn by using Mixed Reality and AI solutions. Gamification to create a kind of incentive to learn, mixed reality to make them to have immersive experienced learning and AI and Psychometric Analysis to identify the strengths and weakness of a profile and guide them in choosing the right focus areas.

In present structure, the solution is a physical, face to face learning/capacity building model. We have served over 300 rural/tribal members. 10 Self Help Group’s - 150 members, 115 honey beneficiaries. In the first year of the electronic VARK modalities/ LMS (fully developed product) we will be able to serve 5000 members. In 5 years time - 5000000 members
The goal is to make livelihood generation & entrepreneurship training accessible to 400 million plus people at the base of the economic pyramid in a way they understand and comprehend. We aim to work with state and national livelihood agencies - National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM) and grassroot institutions of India like Self Help Groups, Farmer Producer Companies. We want to reach 5000000 learners on the platform.
Three challenges exist -
Means of communication with illiterates local languages (more than 15 languages)
Availability of relevant content,
Access to relevant knowledge,
Affordability of such content .
Presently all knowledge sharing happens in a top down approach, brick & mortar model and access to best practices are limited or not available. There is always an incubation period of receiving a new idea and acting upon it.
With respect to availability - we intend to provide choices to the end beneficiary to choose what they want to learn (and grow). Content across language can be made available at the fingertip. This can be achieved by onboarding public and private institutions providing such knowledge content.
With respect to accessibility - the content can be accessed at a time, space and companion convenience of the user. Additionally, features of local languages, varied learning speed help to adjust to each learner's speed.
With respect to affordability - democratising the content and curating it to learners' learning pace helps us achieve the economy of scale. Which in turn would make the solution/learning cheaper.
