Grow Agro solves the problem of loss of agricultural production due to lack of information and resources and unemployment of youth in the field due to lack of networking .It will create and build a network of farmers and agronomists in a hub ,informative sections and sms subscriptions to get information on the chosen field and free customer care calls for those without access. It will  provide  reliable employment for youth in the agricultural fields and a market hub where farmers and agronomists can trade. It will set up profiles for the agronomists categorically so that farmers can find help .An AI feature is also provided for farmers.Unemployment will reduce  and the technological solutions will grow the agribusinesses, the network will grow exponentially and farmers will have support. Grow agro will have subscriptions on sms and access to some features on the app to help grow and support the project.

Africa has an enormous agricultural potential which unfortunately remains unexplored by its main actors because of the ignorance of the sector.Imports of farm products that could otherwise be cultivated ,are increasing annually.

The farmers lack key information and support systems like advise from experts to increase their production and  readily available markets to improve  their working condition, also a young workforce which could be crucial. 

 On the other hand we also have these young people in the agricultural sector struggling to find jobs or expand their businesses. Agronomists do not always have an effective and efficient  way to interact easily with farmers.Thus their businesses do not prosper leading to closure thus unemployment.  

The youth who represent the essential factor of African economic development must be able to easily return to the land, a platform which guarantees them that the agricultural trades feed their man could help governments in their struggles against poverty and unemployment.

With the Grow Agro web application, we can connect farmers to agronomists, markets and even give them access to crucial information and resources.  We aim to influence the increase of agriculture in our communities and allow them to increase their experience

  We will also offer endless access to professional agronomists who will be part of our community, which will allow them to know the trends and have full support which may go from agricultural management to the use of fertilisers.  

Farmers  without a smartphone can just call and our customer service will explain the process to them according to their concerns.  Those who have a smartphone can easily connect to agronomists via our platform, create an account and thus receive the appropriate help.

  Our technology also has an artificial intelligence that will assist farmers with connection problems.  Machine learning will optimize productivity in the sense that all the data collected feeds our database and participates in a more formal structuring of the agricultural sector. This can increase the user experience of our farmers with smartphones !

 Our targets are mainly farmers and agronomists.  Our platform will serve to facilitate the production process by directly tackling the main links in the chain, which are agronomists and farmers.  Farmers suffer from archaic working conditions and thus lose productivity because lack of information is expensive. 

 We place ourselves as a benchmark solution for all types of agribusiness.  

We are fighting against the high cost of living, because the increase in production includes the decrease in cost.  

We provide the key and precise resources that farmers and agronomists need to participate fully in the development of Africa!

We’ll be able to create good quality jobs through giving access to wide networks and technological assistance thus all farmers ,agronomists and investors will grow in their various fields .

Our business is quite innovative in the sense that we allow farmers regardless of the regions in which they happen to benefit from assistance at two levels, artificial intelligence first, and tailor-made service in particular. In addition, farmers will be delighted to know that they are connected to a network that will never make them feel alone in performing tasks never encountered before. We will give them access to a database (which will be updated as time goes by) which will contain millions of farmers across Africa.

Access to finance is also a major problem. Only $ 1000 is enough to start an agribusiness and expand it with our assistance and personalized support that our company offered.

Our business is really working because according to our projections, nearly 30,000 young people leave agricultural schools every year. We plan to build partnerships with these institutions in order to quickly put its young people on agricultural projects owned by farmers. Apart from that, we intend to offer more opportunities in this sector and an ease that will send more and more young people to the trades of agriculture. We will facilitate access to finance since our application will serve as a reference in the agricultural field. It will be a hub for farmers, and a win-win for all players in the sector.

Our technology is based on building a solid network of farmers, especially young people. The conversion of young people to the metirers of the earth is a powerful tool in the fight against unemployment, and the impression that they are unable to positively change their life and their standard of living. By showing them that they can be the basis of a more modernized and more efficient agriculture, young people are empowered and motivated to develop their agricultural businesses. 
Participation in an association has many economic advantages. The most important of these is increased access to land, which allows the expansion of a multitude of agricultural enterprises. Farmers will have easier access to information, to cutting-edge technology that will facilitate their daily tasks and to tailor-made assistance. All these factors can improve their productivity. This will constitute a fight against poverty, and full of job opportunities.

 We will have over 50,000 youth served in the first year and we hope that in the next five years we will have over 250,000 served by the network and this means growth of the agricultural sector

In the coming years this business is capable of creating over 150,000 jobs for youths in a country whose unemployment record is rising exponentially for youth. Our network will have over 300,000 farmers and agronomists connected meaning income from agriculture for them through fair price and access to this web application will ensure increase in harvest through better agronomic practices ,new technological methods and  lowered post-harvest losses suffered by farmers. This business will also contribute to the country's growth through taxes which helps in running of the country.  We hope to develop public private partnership arrangements that will enable us achieve in areas that we do not have expertise but most importantly we develop alliances  as a way of ensuring that we keep abreast with current trends in the sector. This business will establish an agricultural centre of excellence with an internet based hub to control farmers’ networks & offer modern training to farmers in the network. This web app  will also allow us to monitor all Farmers’ fields together with investors.  

Funding which would be needed to activate and launch the application and trust by the agricultural sector that we would be able to push the country to the next level.

.For the funding,we are looking out for opportunities that offer grants or other means of acquiring funding.We are trying to build networks with institutions,organizations agronomists and farmers

We are currently 4, but we are planning to recruit an agronomist and a mobile developer.

Myself ,Alex Zan Bi as Team Lead of the Grow-Agro team, I have a license in computer science and several certifications in business management. I have two years of entrepreneurial experience and quickly managed to develop skills that I didn't have. We're learning as We're growing. Above all, I have around me, a team very involved in the development of this project and just as competent.
