The MecA app is meticulously designed to overcome the menace of fake news, anonymity and misinformation, evasion of private digital social space, disconnection with immediate city living environment, disconnect with city administration and city wide news. The app essentially creates a Functional Premium Digital Personal City Space for Users. MecA seeks to: Enable users access in-city specific information, digitally and strategically connect Family, Friends and Work space, interconnect city administrators and city dwellers, provide access to real time in-city information, combat misinformation, fake news, hate and anonymity, enable in-city dwellers contribute to their city’s content and context, facilitate a secure and efficient in-city navigation for users, establish a platform for in-city/local information and advertorials, build a credible in-city business directory and shopping guide and facilitate the growth of local in-city e-commerce business
The app MecA is designed on three main PILLARS: Family, Work and Friends. It is a city specific mobile application that generates daily digital city information, connects users uniquely with Family, Friends and Work. The MecA app is essentially a user city electronic information conservatory. Users will be able to upload their city experience, access in-city information, engaged in-city in-app purchases, search for available in-city jobs, monitor traffic, access in-city news, post emergency information and seek appropriate response on the platform. The MecA App is a FREE DOWNLOAD, an IOS and Android compatible (Enterprise App), a multi featured enterprise app with three main treads vertically and three horizontally. On login after registration, the app will generate a Personal Digital Marker that will be used as operational identity on the MecA app. This Personal Digital Maker (PDM) when generated will be imbedded in all post and transactions on the app and visible to other app users. Digitally marking time, Date, City and PDM. Every City at the backend of the app will also have a City Digital Marker (CDM). For security and authentication of posts the app will require fingerprint verification before materials on certain posts before it will be uploaded.
As we transit from Desktop Computers to Handheld Devices for Mobile Information and Digital Interconnection, the digital shift by Millennial’s, Generation Z and Mobile App Evolution, has created new disruptive platforms which innovators in the tech industry hence the development of MecA to accommodate in the digital transformation of our everyday lives.
A major breakthrough in IT application in Nigeria is the rollout of wireless telephone and smart phones. This has opened the flood gates of positive possibilities.
