In spite of the big charities that work in the world, we have found out that there are thousands of charities that struggle having a sustainable organization with meaningful impact.
So we created Nibi, which means bee in Ethiopian. We connect people, companies, non-profit organizations and responsible businesses, with the aim of maximizing the impact with daily social and environmental actions and facilitating sustainable consumption.
Our technology allows people to find activities such as volunteering and impactful trips, participate in projects with donations of money or things.
We have a reward model so that our users receive nibis for their actions, that allow them to have discounts and promotions in responsible stores.
In spite of the big charities that work in south america we have found out that there are thousands of charities that struggle having a sustainable organization with meaningful impact.
So, we find out the problems:
- Visibility: For charities is very difficult to get to the digital world due to lack of resources and access to professional talent.
- Trust: in Colombia almost ⅔ of charities are presumed to be a fraud and this bad reputation affects the credibility and trust of the other charities, what creates huge gaps.
The bad reputation and lack of formalization drives:
Financial exclusion.
Use mainly cash.
Low professionalization level.
Low digital presence.
Most of the charities are informal.
In the other hand, there are organizations that address the formalization and professionalization of charities with advising sessions, workshops and lectures but:
This takes a lot of time just for one charity to implement the knowledge.
This methodology is not scalable.
And is difficult to take this all over a country.
Nibi is a web platform that connects Charities, companies and people around social and environmental action.
We use technology, a new image and a gamification model to give visibility to charities, attract people, and make them loyal. “Impact in 3 clicks”.

- For Organizations: Companies automate their social responsibility strategically with our SaaS platform. We include their employees on this who are the ones to live our cycle as a business wellness package.
We impact in:
- People that want to contribute in good actions: 54% of people prefer to give online with a credit or debit card. But currently less than 10% does it this way. Digital media as email, videos, websites and social media are 50% more effective to interact with donors.
For each experience our users have, they receive nibis to get discounts and rewards in commercial partners that have social and environmental commitment.

At the moment, we have more than 1000 users, more than 100 non-profits, more than 50 SMEs and more than 10 companies that use our B2B platform.

In five years, we have more than 15K users, more than 10K non-profits, more than 5K SMEs and more than 500 companies that use our B2B platform.
Our dream is to impact millions of lives in Latin America. For that we reach to support more than 5K SMEs and small businesses in their projects and sales trhough our platform.
Nibi will be the biggest and most important social information bank in Latin America, giving reports and analysis in terms of social impact for governments, ONGs and Big corporations.
Our biggest challenge is visibility and marketing, because we are a new idea with a new technology adaptation, so it's important to reach to more people using digital marketing and sales techniques, in addition to partners acquisition and strategic alliances.
Also, we need 65K USD in order to improve our platform and add more functionalities for customers, non-profits and SMEs.
Marketing: Our biggest asset is our people and our partners, that have helped us to improve and boost our visibility. We are going to continue in the creation of good relations with organizations and entities that share our vision and can deploy our message.
Finance: We constantly apply to grants and fundraising in order to achieve this amount of capital.
All the things we have done until now, have been through "bootstrapping", that means with our own ressources. So we hace the capacity to achieve these goals.
