The youth population is drastically growing and with focus to Africa alone, it is expected to double to over 850 million by 2040. The youths are a very great asset not only to Africa but to the entire World. But only three(3) million formal jobs are created annually despite the thirteen(13) million youths that join the workforce each year in Africa. Eighty percent (80%) of those that join rebel groups and demonstrations are motivated by lack of an opportunity and five thousand (5000) deaths of youth migrants attempting to cross the Mediterranean Sea in 2015 alone were registered. Is it that Africa could be out of opportunities.
AfiCom Resilience Group in our initiative of AfiCom Mobile are opening the scenes of opportunities to the Africans through supporting, igniting, propelling and catapulting Africa's Population to impactful change.
For the experience received, we can transform Africa and the World collectively through AfiCom.
As AfiCom Resilience Group, we are a bridge to challenges such as inaccessibility to business oriented knowledge and learning, Credit accessibility and savings platform, Product and Services Marketing platform, Networking and connections platform depending on the section where expertise is required, Accessibility to Legal Services and planning, and social sites and networks.
Through the AfiCom Mobile App, we make it easier that all the services are within one's reach without the need to travel or follow bureaucratic procedures which are time wasting and unreliable.
Since access to credit finance has been a great challenge to many youths, this has limited their productivity, Therefore as AfiCom Group, we have simple step by step procedures which do not necessitate one to travel to a Commercial bank to gain Credit. Legal Services have been a great challenge especially where there is need to legalize business entries, therefore in our network we make this simplified. Some people especially the youths still clove themselves to participate in entrepreneurial activities because of inaccessibility to Market, This is provided in our platform. Skills and expertise can also be gained such that there is no barrier that can stop one from exploring potential.
AfiCom breaks many more barriers.
AfiCom Mobile is our solution through the AfiCom Resilience Group. The Solution uses both Artificial Intelligence and Big Data embedded on the Mobile App to extend Business Oriented Learning resources, Credit Finance and Savings services, Legal Services, Marketing, Expertise acquisition, Connections and Chat services, Advisory Services and Extension trainings through mentoring. Our AfiCom Resilience Group has a team that is ready to serve one through our Web-based tools.
AfiCom Mobile is a mobile application that breaks strings among the youths and other people. Sine Africa's populations amongst the youths is drastically growing and expected to double to over 850 million, since the World is turning Digital and a good number of youths have acquired phones, however there is something lagging that is still keeping high the levels of poverty and unemployment, Since in my past experience of two years where I have been helping my fellow youths through extension of advice, credit and mentorship, I have witnessed positive changes and that is why my platform is based on the challenges met by such people if we help more and more of such.
For the past two years since I graduated from my High School, I was personally privileged to acquire an opportunity where I worked as a Station Supervisor for the first six months and then as a Manager. But my fellows were not advantaged, therefore, I began my network in which which I used my salary to extend credit facilities to such youths with affordable interest rates, Slowly by slowly, my network grew. Since I am a very good Economist and Mathematician, I advised and mentored my fellows in their Projects which were commonly Agricultural based and Industry, the positive changes were very great.
I therefore learnt from that if we help more and ore of such youths, We can truly transform Africa and the World at large. This is why I came up with a web-based tool to be able to reach out to more of such youths. Through affordable interest rests in my network, we not only do not only attract the youths and interested entrepreneurs but also we support them through my Network. I was able to train more mentors who assist me in my Extension programs.
The biggest challenge for the youths has been support and credit.

Through our simple steps on one's mobile phone, such are covered. The application is not only limited to businesses but also Individuals can market their skills and abilities. This is through the Market Icon meant for both Businesses and individuals with access to rent/hire.

By embedding the youths in this network of AfiCom Resilient Group, we make sure that we induce them to create impactful and positive projects which do not only create and increase employment opportunities but all have a positive impact on the Climate.
The core technologies that power our solution are Artificial Intelligence, Big data, Software and Mobile Applications which are embedded to form a blockchain. The Artificial Intelligence keeps track of one's activities which later evaluates and makes a report, the Big data is in the Information that is provided to the Youths and AfiCom Account holders that may be used to to improve the day to day practices, provide automated responses and advice and much more. The Software is housed on our servers and the Mobile Application which is readily available on one's mobile phone after installation.
The technology is not very new but what makes it uniques is how all those aspects are brought together to help today's and tomorrows generations with a major aim of reducing distractions which are also a key cause failure and no progress.

With experience of two years since I graduated from School, I apparently thought that at least all the newly fresh graduates would get an opportunity for employment but this was not the case, many of my friends never made it.
Within my position as a Supervisor with MOGAS, I thought I could create placements but this was impossible but my fellow youths had some simple skills but they lacked a network that could support those skills, others did not even have any skill besides education and therefore when asked of what they could do besides education, there was nothing.
I slowly began with talking to my fellows to discover there hidden potential, Since I was a very good Economist and Mathematician. This placed me in the right position of a Mentor. I used my salary to extend credit facilities to them which is a very big limitation to the youths in Africa today. My network grew from two to now twenty youths(21), these have been able to acquire various skills including becoming mentors of their fellows. They have created an average of about eighty five(85) jobs for also other fellow youths that lack an opportunity.
With our emphasis to Agriculture and Industry, we have seen ourselves moving mountains. In order to effectively manage and handle my growing network, I resigned from my job such that I can enhance and impact more of such youths since to me I believe that the Youths are the future of Food security and the hope of the overwhelming changes in Climate through our sustainable projects like the tree Fruit planting project, Cassava Project and Vegetables which do not only increase food availability but also help in reducing the Carbon content. My Leadership skills have catapulted me to this far.
In my theory of change, I strongly believe that if I help more and more of such youths and create a network where we can interact from, we can truly create a better World and sustainable futures for ourselves and the future coming generation basing on the two years experience that I have received.

My Solution is currently serving twenty one(21) youth entrepreneurs and their employees which brings the total number to ninety one(91) that are being served by my solution and Network. The youth Entrepreneurs that have gained from my advice, mentor-ship and training are also helping me to spread the network such that we grow a very strong resilient network in the African Initiative for Commercialization (AfiCom).
Since the past two years all has been done without a clear platform, therefore I strongly believe that with the AfiCom Mobile web based tool, we shall reach a total of five thousand(5000) youths entrepreneurs within the first year of it's implementation whom we shall have trained very well via our platform and support them to create about forty five thousand(45,000) more jobs for fellow youths. This success of this shall be depicted by the number of youths that shall enroll on our savings and finance network and our community in the chat and connect box. Note: Entrepreneurs are restricted to pay their employees through the AfiCom Network.
In five years, with extensive work and efforts which are looking at a theme of leaving no youth behind, we hope to have a network of about two million(2,000,000) youths Entrepreneurs who shall also have been empowered to create about Eighteen million(18,000,0000) jobs and opportunities for the fellow youths.
This is what makes us a Resilience Group because we know that through creating and opportunity for the others, we reach many more millions of lives.
As AfiCom Resilience Group through our initiative of AfiCom Mobile, by the end of our first financial year, next year in June, we aim to be a trusted brand within our triangle of operation that is to say in Uganda, South Sudan, Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda and Burundi. We want to build a strong team of trainees that is ready to change the lives of many people especially the youths, those in refugee settlements through our services such as extension sessions of training, Business Oriented Learning Resources on our Mobile application, Connection and Chatting via our platform, Credit and finance resources, Savings without necessitating to travel to a Commercial Institution and other advisory services through connecting to experts via our Website. With our target to reach five thousand entrepreneurs as the test base and forty five thousand employees, this shall be a tool that shall measure our progress after the first year of our project implementation with AfiCom Mobile App.
Within the next five years, we aim to have developed an AfiCom Leadership Centre in South sudan which shall act as our broadcast and training base for all Entrepreneurs and Leaders. This shall be aimed at accelerating and increasing our efficiency of operations. We also aim at being the leading developed and reliable multi-service provider having a one stop point for all the business needs and survival.This shall reduce disruptions among the forthcoming Entrepreneurs and also create a protection for the employees through the bonuses added on their salary savings.
The main challenges that are stopping us from moving mountains are; Inadequate finance, most of the financing has been from my salary and the rotation basis of the repayments from the network that am growing since I offer credit finance with low interest rates to catapult the Entrepreneurs. The second challenge are the high costs incurred in renting and hiring incentives such as housing where my services are based, in our cassava project, hiring vehicles that transport of produce and warehouses to store the products, these have taken a big proportion of our revenue. The third challenge is in Organising extensions and training sessions, this requires a lot of financing to hire a place or reception, tents and public address systems, Such are very costly given our low revenue and when it comes to recruiting more people especially in our savings network to grow our finances, they claim that we are not yet fully branded and there is no reason to trust us. But it all starts with enough finances to fully brand ourselves in advertisements to attract public interest, Organising more and more Campaigns and extensions, Partnering with other Organizations that are on the same cause.
Staffing has also somehow become a challenge for example when it comes to the Professionals such as Lawyers and Counsels for Legal activities, since we don't have enough to pay them for their services, it oftenly backslides our services. Softwares also requires payment for licenses which is also a great challenge for efficiency.
As AfiCom Resilience Group, we are addressing the challenge of finance through encouraging our entrepreneurs to enroll their employees too into the network as a platform where they shall be receiving their salaries and wages, in this we also encourage the employees to maintain them in savings to receive bonus interests over a given period of time, this helps us to manage our finances but for the aim of increasing our impact, we are requesting for financial aid from Donor Organizations, carrying out fundraising sessions, requesting for donations from people of that are willing to create impact in other people's lives. For the case of renting and hiring, through what is obtained from the donations and funds raised, we plan to purchase land and construct our head offices of Management, Construct a Warehouse and Manufacturing centre for our produce from the Entrepreneurial projects and Purchase our own delivery and distribution vehicles. This shall increase our efficiency and productivity and create more employment opportunities. We also look forward to have our own equipment such as tents, public address systems and transportation that are used in our open Campaigns.
Through Collaboration with Legal Institutions and other mutual goal aimed organizations such as Innovation Labs, we hope to cover the loopholes in Legal services.

Since my solution creates an opportunity for every youth and it is under the theme of living no one behind, being Considered for the Andan Prize makes as graced. We have a learning platform whereby even when a refugee has been disrupted within his or her educational carriers, they can catch up through our various resources that aim at building a successful entrepreneur. Besides that, we also have a financial and credit platform which catapults the Refugees to create opportunities for themselves and through our mentorship processes, they are able to multiply to include their fellow members which finally creates a link of inspiration. We are currently working on a model that can train also practical skills such as brick laying such that these youths an be able to even drastically acquire sustainable shelter regardless of the Captivity. AfiCom is a mobile platform accessible to any one and we do not have segregation. Everyone has a potential.
When we receive the funding, this shall help to break the loopholes that are limiting our efficiency. We have plans of setting up an AfiCom Leadership Centre in South Sudan a formerly war torn country such that we can help more and more Refugees but it shall all start with a single step from the Andan Prize. This shall help us to train more cutting the costs of Education for the Refugees and also enabling us to become more impactful.
Since my solution creates an opportunity for every one and according to research, the ratio of women to men is 2.5:1. This implies that the most youth beneficiaries shall be women and therefore being considered for Innovation for Women Prize shall be our pleasure. We have a learning platform whereby even when a woman can not go to a study centre, they can catch up through our various resources that aim at building a successful entrepreneur within their comfort. Besides that, we also have a financial and credit platform which catapults the women to create opportunities for themselves and through our mentorship processes, they are able to multiply to include their fellow women which finally creates a chain. With the help of our Advisor Ms. Kwaga Sarah Nambuya who has been a success business practitioner, we have even been able to attract two women to vocational opportunities in Welding and Metal Fabrication and in Bricklaying, these have been initially known for men but women are now getting into the system
When we receive the funding, this shall help to break the loopholes that are limiting our efficiency. This shall help us to train more women cutting the costs of Education and knowledge acquisition which are on the rise. We also extend credit and savings services in women's Comfort.
AfiCom Mobile creates an opportunity for the vulnerable youth who can not access any opportunity, we train them via our network, help them generate ideas in their capabilities and we help them to develop the ideas. We ignite them and propel them by also extending credit finance and saving services within their comfort. This helps to break the gap of the previously excluded populations especially the youths and the refugees. We therefore connect them to a network where they meet up with fellows who are also impacting their communities. Within six to nine months, these youths are able to run their businesses independently. We have also a marketing platform for the produce which reduces the Workload. Therefore we believe that all the loopholes that barriers to entrepreneurship are excluded and therefore aim for success alone. More uniquely, within our network, we are able to reach millions of lives since the entrepreneurs are able to also create job opportunities for their fellows and thus making our impact grow resiliently. These jobs are protected under our treaty whereby the employees are paid from within our savings network to ensure that we are at equilibrium of the minimum wage and the maximum wage to protect both the parties. As a way of increasing our reserves, the employees are advices to have some fixed savings with our network which do not only earn them bonuses but also enable us to have what to lend to others.
The funding shall help cover loopholes in budget.
With our Mobile Application of AfiCom Mobile, there is a platform for learning embedded in the app. The access to this knowledge is not limited to anyone. We have packages in Entrepreneurship, Finance Management, Critical Thinking, Creative thinking, Conflict resolution and Management, Taxation which meet the demand of what the Adults need to learn. We are also working on a module of hands on skill training to be accessible on our network. This is under our Campaign of living no one behind and we strongly believe that an opportunity shall exist for everyone.

The GM prize shall help us improve the efficiency of our services and create a more reliable and sustainable network. There is a lot that has to be done and it all starts with your support. The emphasis of our budget this year is aimed at reducing the implicit and explicit costs incurred especially in renting and hiring. This shall therefore improve our service delivery.
Artifuvial Intelligence is applied in detecting alternations especially when it comes to minimum and maximum wages for employees, we aim at the equilibrium level. This was initiated because research was showing that many people especially the youths were becoming vulnerably employed and thus given low wages which could not. Sustain their lives. This ended up increasing their expenses while their incomes were low. To the others, it caused a poor quality of life and limiting access to basic needs such as balanced diet, good health care, clothing and good shelter.
Therefore,, for the employees under our network that are in our Savings Network are being protected and since Legal services are within our reach, such cases are easily addressed whenever detected.
The AI for humanity prize shall help to increase our advocacy and create a sustainable network. We shall use the funding to help many to join our savings platform by creating the necessary materials and advertising to create awareness.
There are still high levels of ignorance which need to be wiped out and this shall be possible through our network of AfiCom Resilience Group.

In afiCom Resilience Group, we aim to create sustainable future not only for the current generations but also for the coming generations. We are building a pipeline which we believe that shall help many to eradicate from poverty. This shall therefore catapult many to acquire basic services such as food, clothing, Primary Education as they shall have a pipeline of income. This is a very great limitation since accessibility to credit finance and ignorance have been key problems, within our network where we support all Organs for a successful transitioning business, we believe that we shall have a very strong institution.

The major challenge to us is financing but the major challenge to the rest of the communities that we are working with is not only limited to ignorance but also associated with the other challenges with our solution addresses.

And what could be the statistics in these Covid-19 period, many have cried of job losses, that is why we need this network of AfiCom Resilience Group. AfiCom is fully defined as the African Initiative for Commercialization.
