Solid waste management control. Due to the high level of ignorance and illiteracy and lack of orientation on how to dispose waste in both urban and rural community in Africa.

2. What solution are you proposing?

Our solution is a software application that modernizes and customizes the process of the garbage  collection with  an intelligent chat bot that will assist user in getting access to quality garbage collection and health information services.

3. How could your solution positively change lives if it was scaled globally?

It will :

-Create employment for unemployed youth

-Enable the population evacuate their garbage without difficulty

-result to environment recovery from sickness 

-Provide data on economic value of recycled garbage

-help the government in generating revenue for any settlement that deny disposing waste properly

What is the scale of the problem in the communities you are working in, and globally?

The problem that we are solving affect all communities in Africa( urban and rural region).

90% of the population in Africa are affected (urban and rural)

Which factors contributing to the problem relate to your solution?

high level of ignorance and lack of proper orientation which involves lack of enlighten the population about the importance of having clean environment.

Our purpose is to establish a digital solution for the common problem that exist in each and every community in Africa, which result to delivering an application that modernize and customize the work of garbage collectors and permit the population to track in real time due to the modernization of the garbage collector work.
With an integrated intelligent chat bot ? for solving problems through digital enlightenment.

SOLID WASTE MANAGEMENT CONTROL .

We are going to create an application with two basic types of users.

 -The garbage collector

 -The population

*For the population:

The population can be able to request for the nearest garbage collector,Track him in real time and also there is a vlog for enlighten the population for any update regarding solid waste management improvement for having better environment.

*For garbage collectors:

We will provide them to be able to see the needs of a population within a radius of X km (depending on the type of gear used for garbage collection).Once the alert is received as soon as the collector validates the client, he receives  notification, on a map he can see the movement of the collector in real time.

The solution will serve humanity (The population in both urban and rural region in all African countries). 

What are you doing to understand their needs ?

Consulting district heads and the community members on the kind of challenge they are facing such as erosion.

How will the solution address their needs?

The solution will address their needs by delivering digital way for processing the waste in a reliable and timely manne

The Problem is huge, because it exist in all African country due to lack of orientation and high rate of illiteracy which result to common and dangerous sickness like Malaria, Typhoid, Cholera.
The Solution will help the society by easing there mode of disposing waste to a digital process with an intelligent chat bot integrated in the solution that will assist user in getting access to quality garbage collection and health information services. Finally the solution target will help to create employment for the unemployed youth, provide data on economic value of recycled garbage, help the government in generating revenue.

What's makes our solution unique is robustness, timely, accuracy, secured and efficient application software with an intelligent chat bot that helps users to access and have a friendly problem solving, Friendly user Interface with well explained and detailed environment Digitalisation of garbage ? collecting which enable  the population to call the nearest garbage collector and track him/her using Real-Time GPS mapping.also there is an integrated vlog for population awareness and enlightenment for maintaining physical hygiene and having a better health and living a better life.

The solution we want to achieve is a real-time application that will allow the user to hire the services of a garbage collector, from an interactive, real-time MAP. For the design of this mobile interface, we will use flutter i.e a technology that has proven itself in the mobile world for quite some time. In the same application we will integrate a means of payment, for this we will use cryptography to encrypt the transactions. For the complete management of the application we will set up a back office, a dashboard which will allow us to manage all the entities of the application. As for the business code we will use nodejs/express to design an API restful, fast, scalable and easy to maintain over time. So our applications will be linked and even core which will make communication perennial and intelligent. Regarding the database we will use a data Lack to allow us in the future to create Machine Learning models to improve the user experience and to better manage the management tasks of the garbage produced daily. Finally we will set up a Chatbot using Natural Language Processing, to allow users to have continuous information on the good behavior towards the environment and the risks that we all incur on we degrade this environment.

For the mobile interface we will use Flutter, a technology designed by google, which is very stable.

As for the API we are going to design it in nodejs which is used by several companies, such as Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook.

For the back office we will use standard web technology.

For the chatbot we will use an NLP engine like Dialgflow, Recast, Wit, Withson, Alexa or Botpress. Similar engines among which google use Dialogflow to design google assistance.

3. Explain your 'assumptions': Due to the high level of ignorance and lack of proper orientation for solid waste management and control I.e how to dispose waste properly in both urban and rural communities in All African countries. Analog procedure need to be digitalize.

4. what you will do to achieve your desired outcomes: Transforming the community and society in general from analog time to digital era on how to manage and process solid waste in an effective, efficient and reliable way.

Currently, we are in developement process of the solution.

Our solution could probably serve 10 million people in one year.

In five years we will probably serve more that 100 million.

Our goal is to create employment and empower the youth in a digital and reliable process with efficient and effective skills on physical hygiene. Also transforming the community and society in general (both urban and rural regions) from analog to digital era on solid waste management control. Finally improving the garbage collector work by making it customized and unique

The barriers that currently exist include the Financial problem. Because advertising takes a lot of money and our goal is to take the whole population, whatever the country, to adopt what we believe will change the management of the waste produced daily. The other challenge is a partnership challenge, bringing actors who operate in the garbage collecting sector to integrate our digital ideology.

Its in the first years, when in the next five years, the second challenge will be to have our own collection machines, create a lot of jobs in this sector and improve the lives of the people who operate in this sector.

To solve the first problem that consist to make know our solution, we will:

-Enlighten the people about the importance of collaboration on how to overcome the problem of solid waste management control.

-Advertising the solution using social media , using demo video.

-Organizing a town hall meeting with the community leaders.

In the other and, to solve the partnership challenge, we 'll : 

-Bind partnership with persons who operate in this sector.

-Bind partnership with other sector, who believe in our project.

-Create actions in our company, to allow us to collect funds, in order to buy machines and tools that our workers will need.

We are well placed to deliver this solution because we have the potential in computer science. In the team we have the capacity to develop robust applications because we already have to operate on several solutions including some web fullstack, mobile and chatbot. These projects very often big box projects like Orange, SGBCI ...

This confirms to us that we have the capacity to provide a quality, scalable and easy to use solution to the entire population. On the other hand we have a lot of empathy for these people who die every year because of the diseases produced by poor waste management. Such as malaria which is caused by mosquitoes, finding their nests in this waste. It is therefore a commitment and a conviction for us to implement this solution, this conviction is what motivates us and we have the firm certainty that nothing can shake it. So we are the best placed people, people who put themselves in the place of the people to help them in their daily lives. 

Finally due to the high level of unemployment, the solution we are about to implement will create a wide room for employment in each and every community especially for the youth.

In each and every society women are the back bone, Because they are the ones managing the homes and the population existing in that home. Our solution will extremely simply there work and the fund will help us to boost or expand our project by involving the women to be part of the team heads that will help in sanitation management control of the community and society in general.

Our team will Utilize the GM price by creating a huge room (due to the high level of unemployment) for different variety of people who are not employed to be employed and can work remotely in moving forward with their work and help people who are willing to work in order to achieve the solution mission I.e Having a well sound and healthy society free from sickness.

Our team will use the price with the aim of creating and organizing seminars in each and every community and society in general both urban and rural region and also enlighten them on how to achieve the success of how the world is going Digital (digitalising the work of a garbage collector remotely in an effective and efficient way). Last the price will also help us to offer or award scholarships for at least 2 persons from each community.

Our vision is to create an intelligent chatbot endowed with moral sense in good management and good citizen behavior towards the environment. With the help of machine learning we will create a chatbot which will daily exchange with our user to teach them the good strategies to bin the waste generated daily. This chatbot will be of very great moral spirit when managing and protecting the environment. It will warn users about the dangers associated with poor waste management and the diseases that such poor management can cause. Our application will also be a Data Lack when it comes to the exact collection of data on the areas that produce more waste. This data Lack will allow us to entertain models that will allow us to make predictions on the amount of waste that can be produced for a given period. So we can anticipate the strategies to properly manage this waste in all the areas where we operate.

This will be of great benefit because it will help cities in Africa and elsewhere to provide good management of their household waste by taking advantage of machine learning.
