The problem of unemployment and entreprenural opportunities for the marginalized population can never be overemphasized . The solution to the problem is through agriculture and cooperative societies.

Since Man's existence agriculture has been a the source of food for both man and animals both in it's primary stage (veggies) or in it's secondary stage (tissue paper). The marginalized economy should therefore use their competitive advantage which is access to land to increase their agricultural productivity ( be it fish farming,hoticulture, forestry,dairy  farming etc) and through cooperatives society's business (be it producers, marketing or credit union cooperatives societies etc).

Agriculture and neo cooperatives societies can increase good jobs and entreprenural opportunities for the marginalized economy by increase in agricultural production in a more mechanized and technologically driven way therefore helping the economies market and bringing about industrialization and using cooperatives societies business Enterprise and principles to endure discipline and and growth.

In Nigeria the rate of unemployment is at about 33.5% and this keeps increasing overtime and the global pandemic (Covid 19) has also contributed to a decline I the world's global economy and also a rapid increase in unemployment and lack of good jobs.

 The major cause of lack of good jobs and entreprenural opportunities can be seen with the following.

a) lack of  good financial entreprenural education and training. The education system do not teach about financial literacy and this affects the whole population.

b)Lack of skills acquisition and training. Skill acquisition brings about entrepreneurship.

C) less or no focus on agriculture or agricultural development .(during the pandemic the only businesses that operated are businesses linked to agriculture which are food and other daily consumables.

D) Under utilization of cooperatives business Enterprise to Foster growth and economic development.

Increased mechanized agricultural production in both it's primary stage through neo cooperatives.

Neo cooperative society can be seen as integration of information technology to the cooperative society’s business enterprise. This also includes the use of artificial intelligence(AI) for easy communication amongst members, members of various societies etc. this can also be further extended by creating an application called COOP APP where various societies can communicate, access information and also do or transact business  for example credit cooperative societies can use the application for easy allocation of credit facilities to members therefore increasing E-commerce in the economy and also providing more job opportunities. This COOP Application should be user friendly and can also be used as an online market like Alibaba where customers both locally and international can preorder the items they want and also members can upload items for sale and also use the app to track their sales  giving them access to selling their produce 24/7 globally round the clock.
The existence of cooperative society’s business enterprise fosters sustainable development and reduce unemployment in the economy,through its various forms of cooperative societies which are the producer cooperative society,credit unions, housing, marketing , cooperative farming and the new information technology. 

The solution is targeted at improving the lives of the the whole marginalized economy at the long run majorly by focusing on people from age bracket (16-40yrs).

Those that fall within the above age bracket is said to be the working population and they are more productive. Their collective productivity would yeild a positive result and a positive growth for the population at large.

They would be engaged into skills acquisition and entrepreneurship development at a tender age and as they turn 18 years they are to join any cooperatives society of their choice based on the skills which they have already acquired for continuous education and training and access to loans and grants to fund their business Enterprise's.

This would also increase their income and also give them free financial education and training. One of the principles cooperatives societies business is continuous education and training.

They can also benefits from the joint support or efforts of other members or the cooperatives societies themselves. e.g. Having access to a house if their own through the housing cooperatives society.

Various societies solve various needs for their members.

Agriculture and Neo cooperatives societies business is the only way forward for sustainable development and growth in the marginalized economy by reducing unemployment and increasing entrepreneurship by the populace even from a young age therefore making it compulsory for a child or ward to attain a certificate in a particular skill along side with his or her elementary school certificate and also joining a particular cooperative society as regards to the skills certificate which he or she must have acquired and also the continuous teachings and training about financial literacy.

This will cub unemployment and create good jobs and entrepreneurs.
