Green Villages PBC Sustainable Community
Green Villages combats homelessness, climate change, mass extinction, and resource loss through the 30+ acre LEED certified built, nature rich decentralized sustainable community. We provide safe housing, employment, and other services for at-risk and veteran, potentially homeless, women. The buildings include Community center, Commercial kitchen, Kennel, Mercantile, Laundry, Co-housing, and Greenhouse/Garden that offer education, business development, rental space, wellness activities, quality food, and basic services. We will be open to the public in a one stop environment to model resilient and sustainable lifestyles. The nature rich landscape and wildlife sanctuary strengthens biodiversity. Preliminary market analysis shows the generation of $7 million annually. We use eco-friendly technology to research energy efficiency and effective water management to overcome energy loss and water leakages in traditional urban systems. We empower gender equality and maximize on efficient cost of living. The prototype will be rebuilt across the country and around the world.
Women: >216,000 US homeless women may be subjected to attacks by groups of men during the night (nursing.usc.edu).
Over 230,000 American women have served in recent wars. Up to 40% of women reported being sexually assaulted and 71 to 90% reported sexual harassment in the military.
Energy and Water Loss: 22 Quadrillion Btu of energy is lost from coal/nuclear/power generating plants in 2013 in the US annually (insiderenergy.org).
69 Trillion Btu of electricity is lost with transmission/distribution from plants to homes/businesses annually.
~6 billions gallons of water per day may be wasted in the US (cnt.org).
Climate Change: Climate change modeling predicted the impact of virulent microorganisms, such as our pandemic, >5 years ago (nature.com).
Climate change resulted in the global rising temperatures and extreme drought conditions (usgs.gov) and has devastating impacts on societies through the increase in frequency/intensity of natural disasters; eg. 2019 Hurricane Dorian on the south and east US coast.
Mass Extinction: Natural products and serviced valued at $72 trillion worldwide, annually (UN Dead Planet Living Planet).
>1 million species are on track for extinction in coming decades (biologicaldiversity.org). Ecological, economical, and social consequences results from extinction of species.
Linkages connect human health and ecosystem services (epa.org).
Technology is used to monitor overall conditions at our community for the safety of at risk and veteran women. Full service computer labs are provided for employment, education and business development. Using strategic behavior change development technologies aid in overcoming trauma and restoring dignity and quality of life for the women. Creating a localized ecosystem to satisfy the needs of women uses convenient eco-friendly transportation.
The sustainable community is designed to optimize on the efficient generation and use of electricity and water. Our decentralized environment reduces the need to transmit energy across distances. We collaborate with green developers and businesses to research the viability of eco-friendly, renewable resource driven technology. Efficient use of valuable resources reduces the generation of energy and water processing climate changing activities.
Soil and air monitoring technology is used to asses ground and atmosphere conditions to research best habitat and resource management for the survival of humans, plants, wildlife and natural organisms to enrich life and well-being. Technology allows us to assess soil carbon over time to determine optimum conditions for oxygen generation, and air/soil/water bioremediation (clean up). Traditional built environments do not take into consideration replenishing the needs of life by the lack of greenspace.
Traditional homeless women support is designed to shelter by one organization and provide food, education, business support by other organizations. Shelters may be six dorms of men and one of women with 12 people in each dorm. At night the doors are open while the responsible worker is asleep behind two locked doors.
Workforce and education environments are not monitored for human trafficking prevention. Women are susceptible to electronic harassment and stalking (Women in America: Indicators of Social and Economic Well-Being).
I have lived in the homeless population, on and off, for about 10 years as I lived in my car. This enabled me to understand our needs.
Providing at risk and veteran with a safe place to exists allows them the heal from the traumas from living on the street and oppression from social norms impressed on women.
Wasteful traditional lifestyles has resulted in the pandemic predicted through climate change modeling. Teaching university level Environmental Sciences provides me with the expertise to devise solutions to today's challenges. Green Villages was specifically designed to create clean, green, healthy, wealthy, resource efficient lifestyles. EPA health browser provides outlines the impacts of natural environments on human health and well-being.
- Enable small and new businesses, especially in untapped communities, to prosper and create good jobs through access to capital, networks, and technology
As a single parent, high school drop out, I was one in 3% of women to graduate with a STEM degree, PhD in Biological Sciences. It was a time when congress considered environmentalist to be terrorists. Bush became president. I was put on a terrorist list that resulted in me becoming homeless.
I was unable to find safe housing so I wrote the business plan to help me and other women. The localized sustainable community provides safe employment, business development, housing, and well being for myself and up to 96 other women at a time.
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
- A new business model or process
Traditional at-risk and veteran women have experienced a lack of support and resources that lead them to becoming homeless as more than 216,000 women are homeless in the U.S.. Green Villages treats these women differently by providing them with employment, business and education in a safe environment. They have access to what they need that relieves them of trauma from being oppressed and subjected to harm and harassed.
Tradition homeless systems are designed to set up the women to be housed for, potentially, the rest of their lives at the expense of the government. We support women to be functional women and to be confidently, self efficient citizens.
Outdated traditional urban ecosystems were not designed to handle expansion due to increasing population numbers. At a result, generated electricity is wasted through transmission, leaky water pipes looses precious water, and wildlife habitats are fragmented. Water, soil, and air pollution is abundant leading to extreme climate change challenges. We are redesigning resource efficient, bioremediating (living clean-up), low transportation need living systems while educating the masses to live eco-friendly.
Traditional living and business environments neglect the benefits from natural systems valued at $74 trillion annually, worldwide (UN Dead Planet Living Planet). Our environment is over burdened by the abundance of pollution as we face mass extinction with the loss of over 75% species within a geologically short period of time (wiki Holocene extinction). We research and provide optimum conditions to strengthen natural biodiversity with valuable resources; such as food, habitat, and space.
Natural Action Technology water process will be used in each building and at the greenhouse.
Computer hardware and software will be used in the education and professional development computer labs.
Airthings Wave Plus offers test to monitor indoor air quality for the health and wellbeing of humans.
Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems will be selected for the needs in each of the six buildings at the community.
Renewable energy; such as solar and wind, will be used at the decentralized community.
Media equipment will be installed in the conference, event, and convention rooms.
Energy efficient and renewable energy transportation systems will be used; such as electric carts, scooters, and other transportation devices for a sustainable transportation technology to transport people and supplies around the community.
The living machine water processing system will be used to manage human wastes that uses natural systems through different medium for optimum water quality.
Bioremediation for processing toxins and pollutants from the environment provide an efficient natural technology when ever possible. For example the lush landscape will offer the air filtration and atmospheric cooling to support the needs of the community.
Portable, wireless Solum technology will be used to provide a chemical analysis of soil samples at the garden and throughout the community landscape. Carbon will be a major chemical to be studies to determine greenhouse gas drawn out of the atmosphere.
Effective carbon dioxide capture and storage (CCS) technologies; such as life cycle analysis, will be invaluable to the community.

The goal of Green Villages sustainable community environment is to allow women to achieve a higher level of confidence and be positioned to be successful in employment and/or entrepreneurial professions while being financially independent. Present at risk and veteran, potentially homeless, women are being subjected to traumatic conditions that dominate their thinking. They are mentally preoccupied with thoughts of survival and constantly moving around to satisfy their basic needs; such as standing in lines to food or showers while living on the streets, in shelters, or in unstable living conditions. Green Villages provides a safe, stable place to sleep, work, become educated, obtain food, satisfy basic needs, and co-exist safely in social environments allowing the women to feel more confident about their ability to control their day-to-day lives. Our women will be employed and involved with business and education development while embraced by a compassionate, understanding support groups allowing the women to build self-confidence and be productive on a daily basis. They will be involved in healthy mindful and body development activities in a localized community. The women will have experienced people to support them with the transition to a productive life. Our support systems allow the women to achieve their goals and become financially self-sufficient. A second goal of Green Villages is to inspire and catalyze our residents, employees, and general public to shift their lifestyles that restores and regenerate our planetary environment; including biodiversity. The present pandemic has been predicted in climate change modeling. Yale and Standford states that people do not respond to changes needed for climate change remediation is a social science, not because of climate change literacy. Green Villages provides a model of lifestyles and associated technology in social settings. We provide education on how climate change impacts their day to day activities; such as pollution, drought, fires and the pandemic. This allows people to understand the impacts of climate change that are a real threat to their comfort. We provide easy to implement solutions and return on their investment information that makes the solutions manageable and accessible to support the change in human behavior.

Presently: Green Villages business plan has moved forward to a place where we have a working newletter list. I am attending conferences, summit, online events, and in the Founders Institute pre-seed 2020 summer accelerator. I take advantage of as many opportunities to connect and network as possible. I completed the Y Combinator winter startup session. This allows me to pitch and educate many individuals. Blogging on social media allows me to outreach to many people. Showing up in Linkedin searches has gone from zero to 16 to 35 searches on a regular basis. Our newsletter list grew from 0 to 175 in one month through face to face communications. Presently, I am impacting over 300 people through educating those that show an interest, blogging, and through our Newsletter.
In one year: In two weeks I will be selling natural water units to research institutions and municipalities. These units benefit people and the environment. Through Founders Institute, I am starting two online programs; building confidence in women and assembling personal mail order mini gardens, that are being developed at this time. In one year time, it is projected that Green Villages may be impacting around 1,000 people on a regular basis.
In five years-time, Green Villages Sustainable Community will be built with 96 women residents. We will be open to the public offering many products, services and events in a one stop convenient LEED certified built environment. It is projected that will be impacting over 1,000 people on a daily basis.
One Year Goals: I am building three subsidiary programs that are associated with Green Villages. These programs are being developed through the very demanding responsibilities required through the Founders Institute. At the same time, I am completing applications for grants to build capital in Green Villages PBC and to purchase property. In one year, it is our goal to purchase 30+ acres of land where the community will be built. We are building strategic relationships with engineers, architects, partners and technical co-founder. Securing property and building relationships will allow us to submit a proposal to the CA Affordable Housing and Sustainable Community program grant. The minimum we may apply for is $1 million and maximum is $20 million. These funds will allow us to build the decentralized, LEED certified built community. In less than one year from purchasing the property, we will be open to house women and serve the public. We will be using media exposure with every milestone of community development.
Five Year Goals: Green Villages will be documenting and researching best practices for empowering women, drawing down greenhouse gasses from the atmosphere, strengthening biodiversity, and educating the public. We will form collaborative relationships with eco-friendly technology developers and businesses. Our platform provides a real-life physical platform to test the viability of green technology. Once we have a working, feasible community then we will replicate and rebuild our model across the country and around the world; especially areas that have been hit by natural disasters.
A big barrier is being homeless. I survived the covid-19 infection, must deal with human trafficking sexual predators, have limited internet and electricity access, and must find safe places to sleep.
One major obstacle arrives from those in competitive business industries that do not want women to be in safe environments. The more I thrive and succeed then the more attention is directed towards me. Competitive mindsets subject me to complicated situation that slow my progress.
Some cultural barriers exist due to a lack of understanding of the interconnectedness of our environment to climate change and human health. This sets the stage for miss-interpretations of the beneficial impacts of Green Villages. I find myself in startup communities that are dominated by app developers. It takes a bit of time for me to simplify the processes that we are implementing to benefit people and the planet. For example; the need to have green space in built environments to replenish the oxygen used by animal life.
We are facing financial barriers at the present due to my lack of financial resources.
One of my biggest barriers is time. I find myself working diligently to comply with my responsibilities with the development of this grand project. Yet the tasks are accomplished prior to deadlines.
The last barrier I want to mention in the collapse of our world’s environment. As a result, social unrest is increasing, availability of healthy resources; such as water, air, and space, are becoming more and more difficult to access.
Homeless: Finding housing has paid off. I will be indoors before the end of June. My health is strong. As a humble, honest person that moves with dignity and respect, the law of attraction is delivering miracles in my life on a daily basis that support the success of Green Villages.
Competition: There are more businesses that are being developed to address present day challenges. This results in my being able to find partners and like-minded individuals. Women in need of support are arriving in my life as we form supportive communities.
Culture: My patience listening skills sets the stage for me to educate others on the need to find solutions to social unrest, climate change and environmental collapse. Many more people are aligning with this and seeking my advice. My credibility strengthens in our green revolution.
Financial: I apply for grants. There are many that focus on women, environment, climate change, and pandemic projects. Green Villages is gaining traction to thrive. Daily, I continue to take action when opportunities arrive.
Time: My routine is becoming second nature. I prioritize what are the most important tasks to complete in the moment. Priorities are assessed often and strengthened when I take time to relax and meditate.
Environment: I find places where there are few people and abundant greenspace. It appears as though I have a few plants that provide bits of healthy food. Blogging gives me the opportunity to educate and offer strategies to align with peaceful solutions to todays challenges.
- For-profit, including B-Corp or similar models
As founder CEO, I am the full-time worker with Green Villages. My experience with observing nature, completing my PhD in Biological Sciences, and teaching from two different University Environmental Science textbooks sets the stage for me to be positioned as a quality expert.
Our Board is composed of Eric Corey Freed, organicArchitect, and Dawn Zeintko, CPA, readily available when I need.
Am in communication with a Technology Co-Founder that is providing insight into different perceptions of Green Villages.
I am unable to express enough the valuable mentorship and guidance that are supporting me through YCombinator and Founder Institute Accelerators.
I am uniquely positioned due to being highly intuitive and a genius. These very special abilities were strengthened due to Project Monarch/Paperclip, CIA and Nazi German electroshocking experiments with babies that I experienced when being born on a military base.
I experienced first hand the oppression of women. As a high school dropout, single parent, I was one in 3% of women to graduate with a STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) degree, PhD in Biological Sciences. My professor did not what me to graduate at a time when congress considered environmentalists to be terrorists. Bush became president and I was put on a terrorist list. I became homeless.
While working full-time and part-time jobs and living in my car, I wrote the Sustainable Community business plan in 2013. Around that time, I completed courses in Green Building, Financial Case for Green, and EPA WaterWise Landscaping. I remained unstoppable and continue to bring this community into reality. As Mystic Gardens founder, I ran a successful business for 20 years with retail sale and environment consulting.
I have the unwavering support of our Board of Directors, Eric Corey Freed and Dawn Zientko, CPA. Mr Freed is a LEED AP, Hon. RIGP, Principal of organicArchitect, an architect and consultant in CA, with 20 years experience in green building. Ms. Zientko has experience in strategic planning and execution, audit performance, global operations, financial reports and analysis, and mergers and acquisitions.
We soliciting a Co-Founder relationship as I communicate with three interested candidates.
Attending the Y Combinator 2020 eight week winter startup school from February through March accelerated the growth of Green Villages. The requirements involved attending two or three educational videos and provide information on business developing metrics on a weekly basis. I was in touch with other founders; had access to low cost benefits; and found a wealth of business development ideas, exposure to angel and venture capitalists, and business opportunities through their forum. Green Villages profile page was easy to access and helpful advice was provided for Green Villages growth. I attended three networking group founder sessions.
The day I graduated Y Combinator, an email arrived with an auspicious opportunity to join Silicon Valley’s Founders Institute, largest pre-seed startup accelerator. I received a high rating on their application that involved a ‘Do You Have Entrepreneur DNA?’ one-hour assessment (fi.co/dna). The required sessions are strenuous and weekly, 2-hour meetings informative. I am interacting with the women from The Founders Institute female founder initiative where in 2016 and 2017, they ‘saw the number of women-founded portfolio companies from the Founder Institute increase by 50% year-over year’. Founders Institute’s Head of Global Admissions, Megan Todd reviewed and provided feedback on Green Villages pitchdeck. I had the opportunity to create a professional representation of Green Villages. I am dedicated and committed to complete their intensive summer program.
I receive newsletters, watch webinars, and have created profiles on different professional platforms; such as Sustainable Brand, Women who Tech, Innovative Women, 500 Women, and Angels List.
Green Villages provides safe housing, employment, business development, educational opportunities, mindful and wellness activities, and quality food for at risk and veteran women. These women may be homeless and live in challenging situations where they may be exposed to human trafficking. Women may have to stand in line to get showers and food. We provide a dignified, safe environment to relieve them from the stress of taking care of their basic needs and wait for up to two years to get suitable housing. We allow them to be financially stable and improve their skills to be confidently independent tax paying citizens.
We serve the public with a one-stop, high quality, eco-friendly, healthy built community to model how to go green and secure their wealth. Installing eco-friendly technology in homes may provide up to a 120% return on investment in 9 months. After that time then savings in their cost of living is significantly reduced. Green Villages provides boarding and training for pet owners, safe business and education development. Obama’s Women in America report states that women are subjected to electronic harassment. Our small environmental footprint Leadership in Energy and Environmental Development (LEED) performing buildings provide short term rental space to relieve business owners with the cost of full-time building rental. Research show that LEED buildings have high resale values, consistent rental space with quality customers. Networking and social opportunities are abundant through conferences, conventions, co-rental space, dining, and workshops.
Our plan, to serve people and environment and rebuild our world.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
Green Villages will be self-sustaining. Presently I am applying to grants that fits our business plan. In Founders Institute 2020 summer accelerator, I am developing our MVP as a distributor for Natural Action Water units through a Sales Force platform to generate revenue. We are enlisting a technology co-founder that allows us to expand our product offerings. The goal is to purchase 30+ acres and form professional relationships with contractor, engineer, architect, and as needed. This milestone allows us to apply for the CA Affordable Housing and Sustainable Community program grant, minimum $1 million to maximum $20 million. Once built then our women residents will pay rent for their co-housing while we provide employment, education, business development, and mindful and body wellness activities. Seven subunits of the community are composed of co-housing, community center, dining hall, kennel, mercantile, and laundry facility. Open to the public we offer and generate annual preliminary marketing analysis revenue as follows, co-housing offering housing generating $1,050,709; community center offering computer labs, offices, conventions, conference rooms, and central atrium generating $348,000; dinning hall offering meals, private kitchen, culinary development, events, and conventions generating $1,454,580; kennel offering boarding, grooming, elder care, and services as needed generating $220,844; mercantile offering mail order and onsite products and inventory generated at the community generating $22,321 (estimate for SMB); and laundry facility offering coin machines to full services generating $374,400. Total estimate $3,832,815. Once we have built a viable decentralized community model then we will rebuild in other places.
It is my honor to apply for the Solve challenge. Due to my wisdom gained by studying and teaching out of two Environmental Science textbook, my expertise provides me with an in depth understanding of 21st century challenges to environment and human survival. As a result, I created the business plan for a sustainable community to address many of the challenges facing our world. It is my intention to serve to offer solutions in an easy and manageable ecosystem, community platform. The Solution challenge provides an opportunity to gain exposure and educate on solutions and, potentially, generate revenue to put into practice strategies to create a sustainable overall planet. Housing and supporting women in a safe environment while empowering the masses to embrace clean, green, healthy, wealthy lifestyles creates the next generation of change makers for a sustainable planet. Empowering these women through employment, business and education empowerment, and a wholistic support system has the potential to alleviate homelessness and enliven our economy with tax paying productive citizens. Changing lifestyles to create environmental stewards puts into place a catalyzing force to combat climate change and restore regenerating natural systems. I believe that the solve network of change makers have the incentive and influence to move these strategies forward towards success. I believe applying to Solve’s challenges is resulting in expanding networkers of change makers to instill the eco-friendly, environmentally sound awareness to inspire and develop what it takes in balance and restore harmony and peace on our planet.
