Evaluate My Future
Self-evaluation application that is free and doesn't use data, currently we are working on an online platform where our users can share results and employers, investors, mentors and other users get to see these results. Unlike other platform we are targeting every youth even those in the rural area. We hoping to have a lot of investors interested in the youths in the rural area, their projects they are doing. Our app focuses on action rather than words, no need to write a business plan to get an opportunity to get noticed just hard work. We then have mentors that will teach youths on business plan, finance and endurance. This gives every youth fair opportunities and not limited to them being literate or those with access to internet. Most youths are not aware of the opportunities that are there to support them, we want to bring these opportunities to them.
Africa is known for high unemployment rate especially amongst the youth. Recently Africa has a rise drug abuse, prostitution and robberies. As youths are looking for ways to make money. Instead of companies hiring most of them are retrenching. Graduates are on the street corners selling products to make earns meat.
After i graduated i thought life would be easy and i would get a job change the world but this wasn't reality. Noticed three quarters of people employed are miserable and depressed because they are in the wrong field. I then researched on how many youths are getting employed and what are graduates doing after they graduated. Most of them are employed in the informal sector, they are vendors on the street corners. I was inspired by how they are trying to turn around a bad situation to make a living to survive. Youths are becoming creative finding ways to solve day to day problems but unfortunately noone notices their innovation.
High Unemployment. We have a free and dataless mobile application that evaluates projects or goals or businesses that users are working on. Results are shared on our online platform that connects them to investors, employers and mentors. Users get information on loans, grants or any opportunity that they can benefit from. Users can share ideas and solutions with other users. They get to ask for help from other users in areas they are stuck. Users get to get mentorship and learn how to run a business and get to hear inspiring stories from those who made it.
Currently we are working with a few organizations that are interested in youths and have programs that youths can join to improve their projects. We are looking to work with more organizations to work and see what youths in the rural areas are doing. Over 75% of youths are unemployed or employed in the informal sector. We have graduates that are unemployed, selling second hand clothes on street corners. Some are learning a skill and selling products to earn a living. We are assisting them in meeting targets, teaching them how to market their products. Giving them information on how to get loans, how to write a business plan and financial assistance they can receive from programs online. Some we have taught them of how to start a YouTube channel and earn money.
- Enable small and new businesses, especially in untapped communities, to prosper and create good jobs through access to capital, networks, and technology
We hoping that we are able to reduce unemployment especially amongst the youths by a big margin. We hope to create entrepreneurs in youths in order to increase the number of jobs available. We hope to change youths minds and start working on creating opportunities for themselves. We hope to reduce the number of school dropouts, drug abuse and prostitution amongst youths. We hope to increase the numbers of investments in Africa and put Africa back on the map. This is in line with Good Jobs & Inclusive Entrepreneurship.

Africa is known for high unemployment rate especially amongst the youth. Recently Africa has a rise drug abuse, prostitution and robberies. As youths are looking for ways to make money. Instead of companies hiring most of them are retrenching. Graduates are on the street corners selling products to make earns meat. We have a lot of online platform that handle ventures connecting startups with investors. Only a handful of African youths have this opportunity, youths in the rural areas and high density areas have no idea of such opportunities. Over 80% of African youths are employed in the informal sector and unfortunately informal sector experience can not be put on a CV. We came up with an application that can evaluate a project, goal in a way that employers can see report that shows brief descriptions of project, failed and passed tasks, timeline and overall percentage. The same app can be used by startups to keep track of their goals and share results with potential investors. Working with Africa youths has open us to do more currently we are working on a online platform that allows to share results, ask questions, share solutions to common problems, connect with investors, employers and mentors. App will also have classes on business plans, business proposals, financial management, inspiration stories from business moguls and information on opportunities youths can apply for.
This is a mobile application that focuses on self-evaluation of performance on goals, projects, personal life etc.
You set a goal, start date and end, description of goal. You then break down your goal in to smaller components that you can manage which we call tasks. Tasks have an option for you to write a description, completion date and percentage it weighs.
The app gives you reminders when you are about to reach deadline of tasks, if you miss a task deadline it will grey out and deduct percentage off the goal percentage. At the end of your goal it will show goal name, brief description of goal, failed and passed tasks and overall percentage.
You can share you results on social media and celebrate with friends and family. You can also have your results in PDF or word form.
We will send motivational quotes to push users to achieve goals.

Understanding what EMF is trying to do
Problems that are causing high unemployment in youths
Lack of experience
Informal experience cannot be measurable hence it doesn’t add value to a CV
Lack of passionate employees that are willing to come up with ideas that increase chances of growth.
Demotivating work environment that turn employees in to robots and lose their creativity.
Lack of managerial skills that push employees to be the best they can be
Abuse of using experience excuse just to avoid looking for passionate people or the best candidate.
EMF App might not directly solve unemployment but we are creating a path way that can impact unemployment in a positive way. We created a formula which we believe can bring positive change. Experience is killing passion and we need to reverse it.
EMF formulae: Using EMF App = Passion + Better work environment = increase of idea generation = more opportunity for growth = more opportunity to increase employment = increase in the number of risk takers that I willing to create employment opportunities.

At EMF we want to be fully prepared even if we go viral before the time we expect our server can handle the load and we can focus on making the app better. We do not want to lose customers because the app is always crushing, we believe is a way of life and we cannot afford it to crush. We expect to have over 100 000 users in the next year and over 5 million users in the next 5 years. We are going to do it right the first time, we are planning to visit all the universities in Zimbabwe as well as secondary schools. We are also planning to launch for corporates to inform them about EMF. We are also going to visit 3 African countries and speak at universities as well as have corporate launches. We offer all African companies to be the first to get advertising space on the app as a way to promote African products. We are also looking to cyber security to avoid users’ information and secure it from hackers.

Unlike any other businesses Applications do not generate income within the first few months they highly depend on funds or investment. Apps get income through volumes of users there we will invest more on marketing and equipment which needs funds. What is stopping us from achieving our goals or reaching out to potential customers all around the world is funds to sponsor all the expense that come with marketing the product. If we have funds will be able to create awareness of the app both locally and internationally. We will be able to increase our user base on a better level and attract corporates to be interested advertising their products on the app and create revenues. If people respond positively we will be able to get more companies paying for advertising space. The fund will be a kick start of App booming and us being able to meet international standards. We will plan to compete with Facebook in generating over 14 billion a year through advertisement. We are currently looking for funding of $200 000 for the whole project to run for the whole year while we working on generating income.
Major risk is nothing like this has ever been done at this magnitude. Most app limit to those with internet access, middle class to wealthy. We also have a challenge with organization that steal youths idea and make it their own.
We are looking for investors and working on having companies come on board with us. We have promising commitments that we are pushing.
We are working on ways to protect users ideas and giving them legal advice. We have a legal team working with us on how to protect our business as well as users ideas.

Target market
- Our target market are young adults, students and small businesses
- We targeted the above demography because they are the ones that need the app the most as they are deciding what they want to achieve.
- 10% of today’s graduates get jobs and only 2% of them get a job in field of study, graduates are always slammed with “We are looking for someone with experience” and they end up getting any job they can find. They are hungry for change and follow their dreams this where EMF comes in to make their dreams come true. For them to move being clock punchers to passionate and innovative individuals.
- Most students are afraid to graduate because of reality that no jobs are waiting for them when they finish. Education is no longer an important factor as long as you have experience you will get a job. Student should start working on their career when they’re in school so when they graduate it will be easier for them to get a job. EMF is there to motivate them to achieve goals and keep track of their dream.
- Our main customers are investors, employers, mentors, businesses and organisations that work with youths as they pay to access the results users post and for advertisement space.
- Individual consumers or stakeholders (B2C)
