There are recruitment SaaS platforms that exist in the market. However, the innovative part of our solution is the proprietary matching algorithm. We are able to score and match candidates on various relevant predictive analytics. We can find a match for employers to find talents or even for higher learning institutions to find suitable internships or graduate positions for their students.
Our retargeting capability is also innovative. It allows companies to engage with their talent pool, of past talent that may not have been ready or suitable to join then but is now a good fit for a particular job.
While not our target, the candidates on the platform will be recommended skills that they can improve on to make themselves a better match for the job that they wish to apply for via the Candidate Platform. They are also given feedback on how they can improve their resume to increase their chances of landing their desired job. In addition, candidates will also be recommended other jobs that they might be more suited for, ultimately enhancing the best fit between the candidate and the employer.
We also offer X0PA AI LinkedIn Chrome Extension, another innovative feature. Recruiters are able to perform similar functionalities to the X0PA platform on a smaller scale, sourcing and scoring candidates beyond your 3rd connections as well as finding similar profiles to the ones that you may like. You can even seamlessly import jobs from your job boards with a click of a button.
The core technology that powers our solution is Artificial Intelligence. We use Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (ML) to source, score and rank talent to identify the best candidate for each organization. We also combine advanced algorithms, predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP) and robotic process automation (RPA) to scale the recruiting process.
Our proprietary technology uses AI and ML to continuously improve its accuracy in its predictions in scoring and matching candidates to the respective jobs.
NLP is used to determine the relevance of a candidate's profile to the job in consideration for. Our technology goes beyond a keyword match so that profiles that possess the relevant skills but have missed out certain keywords that a company might use in their typical search criteria would be included in the shortlisted talent pool as well.
RPA is used to ensure the the hiring and interview workflow moves from one stage to another seamlessly and automatically. This enhances the efficiencies of hiring in any company.
Predictive analytics are used to assess each individual candidate on a fair and objective basis to ensure companies get the best suited candidate for their job roles.
Through these various aspects, our solution in totality enhances efficiencies and accuracies in hiring and allows for scaling of the hiring process.
Our solution is hosted on the Microsoft Azure Cloud and it can be integrated with virtually any company so long as they have an application programming interface (API) connection. It can be easily integrated with companies' applicant tracking system (ATS) for hiring purposes, or it can be connected to their employee database and HRIS system to analyse post hire analytics if desired. We are already successfully integrated with the key ATS globally such as Greenhouse, Beamery as well as Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Talent.
As our solution is hosted on the cloud, we are not restricted by geography in terms of installation and configuration of the solution. We have most of our clients in Singapore (in the government sector, institutes of higher learning and other enterprises) as this is our headquarters and have also closed some big clients regionally as well, namely in India and the Philippines.
Our X0PA AI Recruiter Platform is said to attain 82% accuracy in its predictions, reduce 87% in the time to hire and reduce 50% in the cost to hire. Our platform has been proven to increase efficiency, candidate engagement and experience as well as enhance employer branding.

The above is an overall diagram of the activities that our AI enabled platform performs, the output and outcomes and benefits that it brings.
Firstly, predictive analytics is the core feature of our platform. We are able to provide predictive analytics on 3 main metrics, CV relevance, Predictive Loyalty and Predictive Performance. CV relevance further zooms into sub criteria such as job function, seniority, location match etc. This makes it easier for hiring managers and recruiters to assess one candidate from another. Using these metrics ultimately ensure that candidates are selected and hired in a more objective and fair manner.
Secondly, we use Robotic Processing Automation (RPA) to ensure a seamless hiring process in which each step flows automatically from one step to another without needing a human interaction. Recruiters or HR Managers also would not need to go back and forth between candidates and hiring managers to find a common timeslot for interviews or to obtain their feedback after interviews. This enables greater efficiencies in hiring and recruitment. With more time saved by removing the human need for routine manual tasks, HR Managers or Recruiters can more productively focus their time elsewhere.
We also use Natural Language Processing (NLP) in determining the CV relevance of candidates to the role at hand. NLP would look at similar words with similar meaning of the key skills desired in a role. This is different and enhanced from a keyword match so that it includes more relevant profiles for consideration, even if they are missing the exact key words in their CV. Ultimately, this ensures a more qualified talent pool that companies are left with for hiring.

At present, our solution serves around 14,000 people. This would constitute the number of users across the various clients and partners that we serve, across various industries, (who benefit from our enhanced hiring capabilities) as well as their respective clients and job seekers (who benefit from increased suitable job opportunities) on the X0PA AI Recruiter Platform.
In one year, we will expect the number to grow to serve 5 million people as we intend to expand into other markets. We intend to grow through an increased presence in the Singapore, UK and India regions where we have bases in as well as expand into new markets such as the Middle East.
In 5 years, we will expect this to further grow to serve over 100 million people as we continue to expand in our current markets and expand globally. Partnerships are also a key area that we expect to help significantly increase our reach in global markets, especially where we have yet to establish a strong presence in.
In the next year, we will be more focused on revenue growth, having just commercialised last year. Current revenues have mostly come from our local markets in Singapore. We will thus be looking at pushing revenue growth beyond our borders. We will aim to grow our revenue in our current markets and expand into new markets. We have also engaged in strategic and global partnerships and will continue to grow the number of partners on-boarded to expand our reach into global markets. Our partnerships are framed in a reseller type of arrangement such that we engage in partnerships with enterprises who have a strong network of potential clients and engage them as an authorised partner to sell our solutions. These dual sources of outreach are critical in making our solution accessible to the wider population.
In five years, we would be looking at globalisation to increase our footprint across regional and global markets. Each market will be assessed thoroughly before expansion. We will also continue to increase our partnerships to enable this globalisation. Through a referral program, over time, we can develop a multi-level pyramid sales model. As our solution is hosted on the cloud, it can be easily integrated with clients' systems across the globe without any physical infrastructure set up. We hope that through this globalisation, companies across the globe will benefit from efficient and objective hiring processes while job seekers across the globe will have access to better employment opportunities regardless of race, gender, education or background.
Environmental Factors: COVID-19. In the current and next year especially, Covid-19 will play a significant role in how receptive companies are to embrace our digital transformation. There are and will be 2 types of responses during these times. Some companies are completely cutting back on hiring and laying off workers so we lose opportunities for business on that front. On the other hand though, there are companies who have realised that with especially in light of Covid-19, it becomes even more imperative to have a digital hiring tool and embrace the need for digital transformation.
Financial Factors: funding. Especially in uncertain times like these, funding opportunities have significantly stalled and slowed down and without this additional injection of capital, the growth rate of X0PA will be slowed.
Cultural Factors: Companies trusting either local providers or well renowned global brands. Depending on the region, some companies in certain regions may trust global brand names that they already know or would be less willing to try our product in favour of a local alternative.
Addressing Covid-19. This external effect of Covid-19 is not something that we can control. However, what we can control is to try to convince our prospects on the potential benefits of our products and help them to realise the true value of our service offerings.
Addressing Funding Factors. We are exploring other versions of financial aid, such as grants or loans in the absence of available funding. We will also be looking at government provided grants as well. And while funding might be more challenging to secure, we are exploring the option of venture capitalist firms for additional funding.
Addressing cultural factors. We will be more selective in terms of how we plan our growth strategy. We will look at markets that are more receptive to digitization and transformation and factor that into our final decision in determining which markets to ultimately expand into. This would also be done in a stage by stage basis so ensure that we gain a proper footing in each country that we have expanded into, before moving into an additional new market. In doing so, we start to build a strong reputable base and reputation as we continue to expand further globally.

X0PA AI's CEO and Founder, Nina Alag Suri, had previously founded another business, a recruitment staffing agency called Nastrac for 20 over years. During her journey, she understood the pains and unsustainability in scaling recruitment using traditional manual hiring processes.
This led to the beginning of X0PA AI which aims to transform the recruitment process with the use of Artificial Intelligence. Our aim is to remove the subjective bias in hiring and remove the routine manual tasks to effectively streamline the hiring process.
Our data science and engineering team are highly skilled and adaptive to work on each individual client's query or concern. The result is very customized solutions tailored to specific clients' considerations. Our sales team on the other hand listens and understands the pain points of customers and recommends the solution that would best fit their needs.
All this is driven by the direction and vision of X0PA's founder, Nina, supported by the rest of the team to make those changes and implementation happen.
We have an ongoing reseller program which was rolled out this year. The purpose of the program was to support X0PA in penetrating the global market, especially in areas in which we do not have a presence in. These partners believe in the true value of our products and would like to support us and share our solutions within their respective networks.
Partners have been strategically chosen, in the complementary nature of our services provided and in geographic locations where we do not have a strong sales presence in yet. At present, we have partners based in the United Kingdom, Mexico and India and we are looking to build upon these in the months to come.
Microsoft is also a strategic partner and this partnership has opened up networking and go to market opportunities for us. Aside from benefitting from deploying our solution on the Microsoft Azure Cloud, we are also able to get prioritized listings of our solutions on Microsoft AppSource (a type of marketplace for solutions and applications) as well as support from the team of Microsoft Key Account Managers working on the same accounts that we are trying to close. We have also participated in the Microsoft for Startups Program. Exposure through Microsoft Events has also helped to enhance our brand profile.

We also provide a video interviewing feature, X0PA ROOM, an AI enabled video interviewing platform that makes the interviewing process seamless. Video analytics is available post interview to assess candidates more holistically.
We also have the LinkedIn Chrome extension, where you can source, score and rank candidates and import jobs on LinkedIn itself. The extension can be purchased as a stand alone product for smaller scale companies who cannot afford a full fledged solution.
We also offer virtual career fairs which is especially useful in light of COVID-19. Companies can push certain jobs to prioritise. Analytics are tracked separately so companies assess its effectiveness.
Our key target focus of clients would be enterprises and institutes of higher learning, varying from startups to multinational corporations.

Even though we have just commercialised in 2019, we are in a good financial standing currently, nearing our cash breakeven point.
At present, to sustain our funding, we are leveraging on a number of grants and loans available to Singapore based startups. As we also have a presence in London, we are in the process of exploring the possibility of loans and grants available to UK startups as well.
As a bootstrap business, our funding has largely come from internal investments from our founding team. To enable further expansion and growth and to achieve our 5 year plans, we will need additional funding to support this growth. We are in the process of raising our Pre-Series A funding where we will be looking at potential venture capital companies for investments.
Within the next 5 years, we anticipate that through our growth plans ie customer acquisitions internally and via partners, we will be able to sufficiently cover our expenses and start turning a profit.
We are applying to Solve for two main purposes, funding and solution exposure. One of our main barriers discussed earlier is the need for funding. Without funding, the capability for our growth will be significantly hindered. Through funding, we are able to invest in our software capabilities as well as market set up costs in different regions to further develop and expand our global footprint.
X0PA being a new company, also lacks a strong network of connections. Especially in new markets in which we are not familiar with, getting access to critical networks that can get us to market are essential. Right now, this is a barrier for us and something we are trying to build upon to build new contacts. With Solve, we would quickly gain access to the relevant strategic contacts to fuel our growth and well as connect us with potential funders for future growth as well.
We will also be able to benefit from increased media and conference exposure of our solutions. This will increase our brand profile and solution awareness, easing the barriers to entry in new markets.
As an added bonus, we will also be able to enjoy being a part of the Solve Community, a supportive community of like minded startups and entrepreneurs who can become potential allies or be there to bounce off new ideas for instance.

We would be looking at additional funding and revenue to grow our business further. Especially during these times, funding can be more challenging to attain which is slowing down our capacity to grow and expand into new markets.

Partners to Co-Sell:
We would like to partner with companies who we can co-sell with. Right now, we have a co-sell partnership with Microsoft. Through this partnership, we are able to enjoy the benefits of increasing the probability of closing sales deals (through having access to their network) as well enabling deals to close significantly faster. We are also able to get our solutions on their prioritized listing, increasing the exposure of our solutions. We would like to engage with similar partnerships with other partners to accelerate our go to market opportunities.
System Integrators:
We would also like to partner with System Integrators that can help integrate X0PA into their combined solution offering to clients. System Integrators are a useful partnership to engage in as they are in direct and close contact with the customer. As such, if we can partner with relevant System Integrators, they would be able to recommend our solutions to their customers and potential customers, further expanding our potential reach.
White Label Partners:
We would also like to engage in white label partnerships in which companies are able to sell our solutions under their own brand name. While white label partnerships may not enhance our branding and awareness, it offers a great revenue stream and works especially well when we are working in global markets in which customers may prefer more localised brands and solutions.
We intend to hire people from all parts of the world especially in the rural areas and remote places as we believe in remote working and being able to work from anywhere. For instance, some mothers may not be able to return to the workforce due to family members that they need to look after. Through remote working, we are able to include such individuals so long as they are able to deliver on results. Covid-19 has taught us that this is more possible than any of us could have imagined.
We also intend to diversify our workforce to ensure that we have representation from people from different backgrounds, countries and gender so that diverse thinking can also enhance the diversity of our solution and it will most certainly strengthen our AI models and algorithms.
