Nanasi
Nanasi is a social commerce platform that is helping offline SMEs In Africa sell directly from multiple messaging and social media platforms while eliminating manual work from their retail back end .
Our goal is to open up trade borders for millions of businesses in emerging markets by helping them leverage social media platforms (the fastest growing segment in online retail)and distribute their products in markets that were initially out of reach.
Despite 0.5 Billion Africans having access to the internet and 85% of all online sales coming from social media and messaging platforms, over 180 million SMEs still operate offline and are trapped in micro economies because they lack access to markets beyond their borders.
Nanasi gives merchants with zero technical or business experience a single dashboard to sell, manage inventory and accept payments across all their social media channels and messaging while eliminating manual work from their retail back end.
We are already creating equal financial opportunities for women and youth in low income communities. Over 1000+ women and youth have started online retail businesses on nanasi with zero investment. We now connect them to a steady stream of customers and income by giving them access to markets that were initially out of reach.
- Enable small and new businesses, especially in untapped communities, to prosper and create good jobs through access to capital, networks, and technology
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth
- A new business model or process
Most of our competition only offer online stores but the e-commerce model struggles to get rapid adoption because consumers value social interaction.
Nanasi is driving the adoption of social commerce by helping SMEs sell directly from their existing social media and messaging platforms and we focus on helping them boost sales, increase conversions and capitalize on the billions of consumers using these platforms.
