Jobg - Jobs for everyone
Problem: Here I can see 90% people around me don't have PC or they dont know how to create CVs. These people are security guard, drivers, cooks, maids etc. They cannot create accounts on job portals on monster.com or naukri.com. They need job but they dont know where are they available and how to tell people what they can do know and what are special skills they have.
Solution: I created a website http://jobg.in (in prototype level), where everything is audio/ visuals. All pages explain what page is for and what to do. A user can slide various parameters like experience, education etc and most importantly they can speak about themselves, what they done, what they know and everything about job. Website is too light that it can be run on 2G network too (including audio recording).
Impact: Anyone can create CV in a minute (optional doc/pdf attachment)
Here I can see almost 80% people do blue collar jobs and they frequently search jobs by visiting various shops, societies etc as they cannot create CVs and create profile on portals. Some portals recently started gathering basic info, but these people always have lot of to tell about their special skills in their field, which they cannot type but can only speak. They dont have fast network, or anyone to help.
I tested with few blue collar people on my working prototype http://jobg.in and they found they could easily speak about themselves and become part of digital cv.
My prototype also target white collar people like IT/software, marketing people, as they can express themselves better, also show their communication skills too. Optional attachment can help to upload written cv.
This prototype also help to create new jobs, example a person can speak and post if he want someone who can do home business or take small franchisee. The person who posting may not be having good presentation skills but can speak what he want, and person who in need of job or home business (e.g. housewife) can hear what is requirement and apply.
Solution: It is "no keyboard" solution with audio/visuals and accessible to all, any network.
Job-seeker logs in with facebook/google account in one click.
Slides values to select experience, salary, education etc
Click on mic button and speak about his job experience, his skills, awards, what type of job needed, any other constraint etc.
Optional upload CV attachment
That's it, profile created.
Click on jobs button and see matching jobs.
Get job notification in browser, mail.
Recruiter logs in with google business listing(must to avoid spammers)
Slide values to select salary offered, experience need etc
Speak about job profile
That's it, job profile created.
Click on listing to see matching employees/workers and contact them.
Target population are mostly illiterate and poor people, who are frequently in search of jobs but dont have platform to share about themselves. example maids, drivers, cook, mechanics, housewives, drivers, delivery boys etc
Target population are also recruiters who dont know where to post their requirement like small shop owners, small businesses, restaurants, clinics etc
During last few months, I have seen many people lost their jobs or returned to their hometown. Lockdown can stop workplaces, but to survive these people must search job at new locations. Going to each door for job is very difficult and not knowing to create profile on job portals and CVs becoming hard to get jobs.
I met many such people and asked them to use http://jobg.in and they found it extremely useful for them, specially during these days.
- Equip workers with technological and digital literacy as well as the durable skills needed to stay apace with the changing job market
Everyone have smart phone now days and know how to do basic operations. Almost every one have internet with atleast 2G connection. With no further skill and no training, anyone can speak about their skills, job experience to get good job.
Voice tells much more than written as written things dont contain expression, confidence etc. example I am writing this proposal since one hour but judge cannot feel my expression, excitement, my confidence, my void speech etc.
Video CVs are in market but they cannot run on 2G and 90% people shy on camera.
- Prototype: A venture or organization building and testing its product, service, or business model
- A new application of an existing technology
Current competitors are nauki.com, monster.com etc but only useful who are tech savvy. Written CVs reflect the employee, but no blue collar job people can create CV with winword, PDF etc.
Other few attempts were video cvs, but poor people could not use them due to camera shy or video files are too large to upload.
In my solution, 1 minute CV (which is more than sufficient) create only 80-90 kb memory file. Amazon aws is used for fast uploading and listening.
Employee dont have to speak in english, they can use local language, which is easy for both employee and employers.
Employers dont have to read CV pages, only hearing about a person is required. Many people can judge employee by hearing what they are saying
Spending only 2 minutes on any smart mobile (no app needed), on any network is only requirement
Technically speaking, I have used HTML5, audio compression and image compression, so that it should work on any network.
Compressed videos are used to explaining what to do on every page.
plain javascript and minimum css used for fast page loading
No extra hardware is required.
All technologies used are existing and widely used easily by everyone.

This solution can help them to access job easily, earn money and even get some small business too
Most women are housewives. In free time, they can use their skills like cooking, painting, baking etc to earn more money. My solution can easily help them to advertise their skills to near by people, who need help in their business and can be done from home.
Everyone has some special skill in job, but they cannot express those skills in writing. Speaking freely about those skills in own language is best thing to get best job.
My solution will impact millions of people who use traditional way to find blue collar jobs.
