Employment and entrepreneurial opportunity gap affects some 174 million of people across the world who lack in-demand skills and connections to advance in their careers or earn higher wages.
Few are able to access formal upskilling opportunities—with barriers such as limited literacy, time, or support systems. And those who do find a way to upskill still need a bridge between education and employment and or entrepreneurial opportunities. Some worry that the future of work may be driven by artificial intelligence (AI), automation, and other technologies that will put humans out of work.
But what if we turn that conversation around? What if more people started building and using technologies to improve access and build—not threaten—learning, entrepreneurial opportunities and create inclusive employment for the marginalised?
By harnessing digital technologies, we can remove barriers preventing people from growing their talent and connecting to meaningful work and economic opportunity.

Few are able to access formal upskilling opportunities—with barriers such as limited literacy, time, or support systems. And those who do find a way to upskill still need a bridge between education and employment and or entrepreneurial opportunities. Unemployment is a global challenge given the combined factors of overpopulation, limited jobs, and limited resources. More youths are returning home to live with their parents than preceding generations. More are finding themselves in a competitive job market for which they have no skills or too little experience. Unemployment Rate in Botswana generally increased to 18.20 percent in 2019 from 17.90 percent in 2018. Botswana youth unemployment rate for 2018 was 37.14%, a 0.58% increase from 2017. In 2018 - The global youth unemployment rate was estimated at 13%, three times higher than the figure for adults, which is 4.3%. The cause of unemployment has been attributed to lack of skills, low levels of education and skills. A combination of these negative factors reduces participation of the youth in the labour market.
Our Solution - Leveraging Technology to Increase Economic and entrepreneurial Opportunities for the marginalised- Employment Education Technology; By harnessing digital technologies, we can remove barriers preventing the marginalised from growing their talent and connecting to meaningful work and economic opportunity. We are finding ways to use the following: Mobile phones to teach high-demand career skills and English and enable industry certification, wage gains, and career advancement; Experience-based assessments with algorithms to improve how workers and jobs (and necessary training) are matched, increasing retention, earnings potential, and equity in hiring; Online competency-based assessments to measure (and credential) millions of youths’ digital literacy skills and to screen them in for work; The cloud to connect learners to role models, industry connections, and potential career options; Texting to more easily nudge students toward better learning and employment outcomes; Data from personalized assessments to increase the impact of in-person coaching and instruction, helping underserved or marginalised populations close employability skill gaps and find and succeed at higher paid work
Our target population are young unemployed graduates who are marginalised by virtue of their background. In other words, they are not predisposed with the necessary techniques and skills to enhance their employability or engage in entrepreneurial opportunities. The consequences of unemployment are manifold. Joblessness is correlated with poor nutrition and health, as well as high property crime. Unemployment has detrimental effects not just on someone’s finances, but also on their psyche. The effects of unemployment on mental health are significant. Depression is more common in the unemployed – occurring at more than twice the rate than those with full-time work. For the long-term unemployed, it’s even higher. Unemployment is also commonly associated with anxiety and low self-esteem. For others, poverty is all they’ve known. For those in poverty, securing and retaining a job is often the impetus for substantial life change. With a steady income, increased self-confidence, increased access to healthcare, and opportunities for growth, a job can change the tide for an individual and his or her family.

We will adopt the Customer intimacy as a competitive strategy.
The customer intimacy strategy focuses on offering a unique range of customer services that allows for the personalization of service and the customization of products to meet differing customer needs. Often companies who pursue this strategy bundle services and products into a “solution” designed specifically for the individual customer.
The successful design of solutions requires vendors to possess deep customer knowledge as well as insights into their customers’ business processes. The solutions offered rarely present the cheapest option for the customer, nor the most innovative, but are regarded as “good enough.”
Customer intimacy focuses on the needs of the individual customer.
True customer intimacy can only arrive through aligning the product development, administrative functions and executive focus around the needs of the individual customer.
Our Customer-centric allows us to learn and change quickly according to customers’ needs. Our company will often keep an entire ecosystem of partners for the actual production and delivery of products and services to our customers.
