We use sound and user friendly information communication technology tools and media platforms to empower and equip women and girls with land rights, land awareness, education, land information exchange, , land customary rights, and land acquisition processes and skills.
Land is the basis of many social and political struggles, and for most—particularly rural— people, is the starting point for livelihoods and dignity. Where women and girls are concerned, the land question remains far from resolved. Women’s rights to access and control land are central to the goal of poverty eradication, and a rights-based approach to development. Eliminating discrimination in land and property rights is essential to rolling back the impoverishment of millions of women worldwide and is, without doubt, a necessary condition for equitable sustainable development
Thorough lobbying for women land right were are going to influence the rate of HIV and gender based violence amongst women. In the context of HIV, women’s rights to inheritance and property are “… a crucial factor in reducing women’s vulnerability to violence and HIV, as well as empowering women to cope with the social and economic impact of the epidemic at the household level. Evidence also suggests that countries where women lack landownership rights or access to credit have on average 60 per cent and 85 per cent more malnourished children, respectively.
Our company ensure that women’s and girl’s equal right to access, use and control productive resources, including land, is specifically recognized (including equal rights with men with respect to the acquisition, administration, control, use and transfer of land). Recognize that women have an equal and independent right to acquire, administer, control, use and transfer property irrespective of their marital and family status. We ensure that discrimination against women is prohibited in all areas, including laws, customs and practices.
