Salestar Rural Entrepreneurship
Today a major part of Internet consumption is done by tier 2 and tier 3 towns of a country. Rural people today purchasing power and this is where we can introduce a Demand and supply aggregation platform B2C and G2C both at a lower rate than existing big players in the market. We can implement hyperlocal delivery at the last miles where big firms are yet to reach because locals are whom rural people can trust upon and words of mouth works a lot. Gain trust by locals can help in introducing of new products where rural boys can become the local Salestar champions both in delivery and pushing new products. This will generate livelyhood of unemployed rural people and make them champions in commodity selling and also rural areas will get commodities easily accessible and at a cheaper price cutting all the costs between of the Distributor, retailer, shopkeeper
Employment of Rural people, generating their lively hood, making them sales champions, in turn making products and services easily accessible to rual parts as nowadays all big players in the market focuses on Cities to start with their products and service, but we often forget a large part of Internet consumers are nowadays from rural areas. People have smartphone and money thereby having great potential and purchasing power. I just want to make this gap meet and make rural people gain equal opportunities of receiving products and services of brands.
We can tie up with big brands and make a portal consisting of their commodities, products and services. Rural entrepreneurs will have a smart tablet where all these products and services will be listed. Each area of rual villages or small towns will have local sales champions who will find potential leads and try to generate sales. This is how rural people will comes to know different brands and their offerings. Local people tends to believe on local people more than an outsider when it comes to use new product or obtain new services. Local salestars will generate hot leads and turn them into sales and generate an income. They will also be trained in basic services which they will be champions of like maybe a haircut/massage/plumbing/electrician/mechanic etc. Whenever local users wants such services the nearby expert can go and get that done. Also the products they want will directly be sold to to the customers cutting all the costs in between and a major part of the profit goes to the Slaes Champions. This is how rural and semi ruarl people will tend to rely on the apps products and services.
A major part of local services remains un-recognised and when in need we try to find them without knowing their location (maybe they are just in the next lane). What our app can do is list down those local service experts and get them enrolled in our app, apart from walk in customers their services will also have a demand over calls. In one word "delivering services at home. At a particular category n number of service providers will get enlisted, users can choose them based on their ratings. This is also keep the service providers serious about keeping their services on top and maintain quality. Most importantly just think of this COVID-19 situation. Local delivery is so much important. If in the summers we have our ac get wasted we cant go out because of Covid-19 but on a single tap in the app a top notch service provider who lives within a range can come and give a service thereby generating income, creating value and helping the users and living up to their expectations.
