Food losses-refer to the decrease in edible food mass (dry matter) or nutritional value (quality) of food that was originally intended for human consumption(FAO, 2013) .
In Less Developed like Ghana Countries (LDCs), the main cause of loss is biological spoilage. Livestock products, fish, fruit and vegetables lose valuevery quickly without refrigeration,storage lack of access to available markets.
