RESILIENT FOOD SUPPLY
Food demand, production, Supply Chain and waste are the 4 sides of the same topic. Our goal is to create resilient food supply through solar greenhouses banks with minimum energy requirements and co2 footprint, grown within the boundaries of the cities consumers, taking also advantages of the areas that are abandoned but capable of hosting such an initiative .Greenhouses will be positioned in a special geometric grid of circles, which has been shown in Unified Physics (putting together Astrophysics and Quantum Mechanics) by Nassim Haramein to be the structure of space- time. Overlaying that over a city map creates resonance with the time-space continuum, and imitating nature gives always the best solutions.
Greenhouses will be designed synthesizing principles of solar windows energy , Fractal geometry, Biomimicry, Permaculture, so they can give the best results and crops, in terms of quantity and quality with the least effort.

Disruptions from climate change-related disasters and recently, from COVID-19, can lead to lower production and more food insecurity, demonstrating a need for more resilient supply chains. The project relates to how we all see our own local environment as the main provider of food. The globalization of the economy and the lower price of imported food made economies to abandom local production of food in the favor of imported commercial goods. Epidemics and crises make us reconsider. We do need to make good use of technology and environment to improve food resilience or productions through cities green houses. We do need to become more resilient with respect to food supply in order to better serve themselves. For instance through coronavirus epidemic more than 1000 people walk to get free food in Geneva even in wealthy Switzerland . In nation of nearly 8.6 million 660.000 people in Switzerland were poor with low level education unable to find work after loosing the job. Our proposal is to provide resilient food supply through urban greenhouses especially in case of emergencies in Athens and Dubai and use this model in more cities in the future like Geneva or more.
- Our solution includes the establishment of urban solar greenhouses serving as resilient food banks for cities and its people. Our aim is to provide self-sufficiency in cities taking into account the morphology and the abundancies that each of them carries – sun, water, wind etc -. Minimizing transport costs & needs, the CO2 footprint of the food chain and the dependency on global food systems. Our solar greenhouses are placed throughout the cities & in abandoned areas, providing food distributed by a social enterprise system. We embrace as a core partner the technology of Brite Solar, a Greek company dedicated to the creation of new types of architectural glasses that can reduce the energy footprint of buildings. https://www.britesolar.com/
- We wish to engage people into growing their own food in an individual much as in an open source way, available to everyone. A sustainable, open source, locally developed and technologically advanced urban garden while at the same time energy can be produced for common needs.
According to the latest estimates, 9.2 percent of the world population (or slightly more than 700 million people) were exposed to severe levels of food insecurity in 2018. Disruptions from climate change-related disasters and recently, from COVID-19, can lead to food insecurity, demonstrating a need for more resilient supply chains. Our solution provide Resilient food supply through urban solar greenhouses that are being map in every city with the biomimicry design of the flower of life . Our team and organization Biomimicry Greece work close to find solutions in sustainable development goals https://www.behance.net/gallery/81269027/Community-Building-Game.
- Our main target group is the people that live in the cities. Most importantly, we wish to engage people into growing their own food in an open source way. Allowing people to see and participate in how their food grows, we create awareness, local abundance and a resilient source of food. We strongly encourage the social impact of the urban greenhouses as they are created in order to serve the local community’s food needs in every day much as in emergency situations as a pandemic. They can be part of the whole process, from planting, growing, harvesting and eating the products grown in the greenhouses.
- Improve supply chain practices to reduce food loss, scale new business models for producer-market connections, and create low-carbon cold chains
- Human population grows, the cities become more crowded, which leads to an unprecedented increase in food supplies. The food supply chain today requires many intermediate parts until it is finally on our table. Supporting locally grown food, assisted by the people that will directly take advantage of it, brings about an improved economy, lower energy requirements – while at the same we produce solar energy -, lower carbon footprint, more nutritious and seasonal. Athens, as our first case study, is a city abundant in sun and close to water sources so a combination of technologies while feeding its own people.
- Growth: An organization with an established product, service, or business model rolled out in one or, ideally, several communities, which is poised for further growth
- A new application of an existing technology
- Greenhouse agriculture is an essential approach to human population growth, as it can produce 10x the yield while consuming 1/10th the water when compared to open field production. The problem is that the energy requirements for modern greenhouse operations are 10x that of open field. The increased energy is used for heating/cooling as well as hydroponic systems.
- Brite Solar’s innovative Solar Glass is used in place of traditional plastic or glass sheathing for areas of the greenhouse with large amounts of solar exposure. The Brite solar glass uses a third generation photovoltaic technology to produce electricity from the sun’s rays. Brite Solar’s technology has many advantages over existing technologies as its solar cells are produced at ambient conditions without special measures for purity, thus drastically reducing the cost of production. Also, they are transparent and can be used as “photovoltaic windows”. It is also possible to give the window a varied hue, thus an aesthetic effect chosen by the end user or building architect and it works with diffuse radiation that can hit the window from any direction, from either side. This property is not available by any type of PV panels from any manufacturer today.

- Biomimicry
Through our proposal we do want to find a solution for the cities in emergency and not emergency situations where people can walk in any corner of the city and find food for free.
Fractal geometry will be applied in the design of the greenhouse itself, as well as in the arrangement of the plants themselves, as it has been shown in experiments that seeds are activated in these arrangements, they become more bioactive and they produce better and higher yield. Biomimicry will be used to give solutions for water inspired by living systems.

- According to the latest estimates, 9.2 percent of the world population (or slightly more than 700 million people) were exposed to severe levels of food insecurity in 2018.
- A broader look at the extent of food insecurity beyond severe levels and hunger reveals that an additional 17.2 percent of the world population, or 1.3 billion people, have experienced food insecurity at moderate levels, meaning they did not have regular access to nutritious and sufficient food.
our plan is the first year to reach 100.000 people and in five years more than one million people
Our goal is the next year to talk to many organization universities we will use open innovation helix model .
Open Innovation is one of the important components, where all stakeholders need to be involved in a Quadruple Helix Innovation-type model; this is where academia, universities, industry, government and citizens collaborating together in order to drive structural changes beyond the scope of any one organization can achieve on its own (Open Innovation 2.0 oi2 2013).
Finally the next 5 years we want to raise funds from social enterprise investment coomunities philantropists and goverment
