PrivatQ aims to massively boost youth employment by directly involving the youth in providing affordable access to education for all. This real-time app matches teacher with student based on requirement and preference, giving the youth an opportunity to teach, gain work experience, and harness valuable life skills.
In this fast-moving era, technology has become both an opportunity and a threat for employment. Young people are uncertain about their possibilities, especially in countries like Indonesia in which only 30% of the youth is employed after graduation. With increased expectations to face MEA, few opportunities to harness skills, and limited work experience, they need a solution.
PrivatQ provides that.
Addressing the key ingredient needed by youth which is job opportunity, and matching it with the nation's primary concern of providing quality education for all, we create a platform to connect students and teachers. The youth shall experience work as teachers, majoring in whatever subject they are confident with. Meanwhile, our customers, the students, may specify any subject they want to learn at a time and place convenient to them. Our app is able to collect and sort the unique demands of customers and match them to the teacher. The teachers will also potentially receive many requests for their expertise, and they may approve them at their own convenience.
Hence, learning is made flexible with our real-time application. Plus, we provide service that is affordable without sacrificing quality. All teachers are tested, trained, and closely monitored through customer feedback.
In addition, we keep up with the latest technological trends, providing a user-friendly app which utilizes payment gateway, GPS, customer feedback, and dynamic profiles for users.
As the higher goal, we want two things:
1. Accessible quality education for all.
2. Massive job opportunity.
We believe we can achieve this with the help from partners, investors, and, of course, our dynamic team who are working on our product and promoting it online and offline with community-based approaches.

The ever-changing and demanding education system in Indonesia drives the emergence of expensive after-school programs, offering multiple meetings for a number of subjects in a classroom environment, some priced at Rp12.000.000/student (more than average school fees). This system does not really cater to the specific needs of each student nor the financial capacity of the majority.
Meanwhile, the majority of Indonesia's youth is unemployed and lacks job experience and skills most employers require. Most jobs do not even guarantee an adequate paycheck to meet current needs and cultural expectations, increasing psychological pressure, sometimes leading to drugs, theft, or even suicide.

We aim to create easier access to education for all and more job opportunities for the youth. Those who benefit from PrivatQ are of course the students, who will receive more undivided attention to learn more freely at their most convenient time, at the most affordable price. Meanwhile, the youth can teach whatever subject they are confident with and choose from any teaching request at a time convenient to them also. The app is made to link the requests and offers based on the users' profiles.

We provide a real-time application for a field not yet widely explored: education. PrivatQ is specifically designed to match students to the right teacher/s. The technology allows flexibility for students and teachers to manage their time at their own convenience and utilizes latest trends: payment gateway, deposit system, ratings and feedback, bonus incentives, GPS tracking, and discount packages. Websites and online services for education do exist in Indonesia, but none are real-time, flexible, and as simple. Also, customers are charged a relatively high price for their services.
For Students:
We approach each student individually, focus on their unique learning needs and preferences, and assist them while breaking the barrier to quality education by offering cheaper prices in comparison to other services.
For Teachers:
The youth can teach whatever knowledge and skills they have, no matter how specific, e.g. Bahasa Indonesia for junior high, English for beginners. With us they will receive training, teach, connect with people, equip themselves with skills, and have meaningful working experience.
For Team Privatq:
We are a dynamic team of different backgrounds employing locals to support multiple platforms with offline-based and community-centered support.
Our app is downloadable for free and it is user friendly, utilizing the current technological trends people are already familiar with. We also promote and provide service online (via our website and social media, e.g. instagram, line) and offline with conventional cellular service and direct appointments with our customer service officers. We have a main office in the capital city of Jakarta, and we are currently establishing a branch office in a neighboring city for easier coordination and customer support.

We have persons passionate in education and the IT business who are investing in our start up. We are also seeking partners for extra aid in training our teachers and to conduct more workshops and socializations for our cause.
We also rely on customer satisfaction and loyalty to pay our teachers and financially aid the company, which motivates us to ensure that we sustain quality service and keep upgrading our app.
Potential competitors exist in the market with plans to create a similar app. However, we regard this as healthy competition, and it is beneficial for the people who need more access to education.
Another concern is keeping the teacher's passion and productivity. Although the schedule is flexible and they may choose to stop teaching at any time, the company does rely on their ability to assist students with excellent service and therefore increase demand for our teachers. We try to mitigate this by providing teacher's training, supplying a curriculum, and maintaining communication and peer-counseling.

We are also in the process of securing partnerships with local academic institutions such as STBA LIA Yogyakarta (LIA School of Foreign Language) to aid us in workshops and other related activities.
